Ten thousand years ago, at a time when a real civilization did not yet exist on Earth, the Arconids fought fierce battles with the Methanians.

These wars shook the foundations of the Arconian empire. They would have led to the complete annihilation of the Arconids, the then rulers of the Galaxy, if at the decisive moment they had not been able to use a new weapon against the Methans.

Now, ten thousand years later, with Perry Rodan's Solar Empire long overdue for the legacy of the Arconids, it seems odd that the Methans' power had not been broken even then.

Lord Admiral Atlan, Perry Rodan's friend and mentor, is the first to know of the impending danger. And when a gigantic Methanian flying fortress emerges from the transmitter receiver - and the Cross-2 has grown to normal size in the meantime - Julian Tifflor raises an alert fleet of guards.

The Flying Fortress threatens a transmitter blast into the Andromeda Nebula and cannot be dealt with by conventional weapons. Therefore, the three best mutants of Perry Rodan have to intervene in the matter ...

When Ras Chubai, Tako Kakuta and Gukki enter the action, they are given an order: TELEPORTERS,...

INTRODUCTION

The book you are holding in your hands is a classic of science fiction and at the same time the most successful book ever won in this field. We thought for a long time about the form in which we should present the book about Perry Rodan to you and finally settled on such an edition, in which repetitions and contradictions would be eliminated, but the original dates would be preserved. Neither the date of the landing on the moon of Perry Rodan, nor the resulting time-related data has been changed. Thus, it turns out that the action of this novel of the future, bearing in mind its data in time, takes place in the "past".

On the stylistic side, we acted with great care, because, despite all the passages worthy of improvement in the original edition, the book had to be as close as possible to the original. The writing of an intermediate text that would have made this book a complete novel was inevitable.

I express my gratitude to G. M. Shelvokat, who read the finished work; K. H. Sher, who kindly placed his personal materials at my disposal; Christa Bauer, who made the book readable, and to all of Perry Rodan's friends, without whose interest in our work for nearly twenty years this project would never have come to fruition.

FOREWORD

On a cosmic scale, a person's life lasts one millisecond, and the duration of the entire human existence itself, on the basis of this, is no more than a few moments. Therefore, it is not surprising that events in our universe should appear to the observer human life chaotic and meaningless. With their limited understanding, which allows them to comprehend only a tiny part of reality, people are trying to comprehend and survey cosmic connections. This feeble, and precisely for this reason, perhaps, admirable attempt is called science and research by people. Imprisoned in the framework of his small planet, which he threatens to destroy because of the discord between emotions and rationalism, a person fights for knowledge, which in the end only puts before him more and more new mysteries.

This persistent search for the ultimate truth makes a person guess that his world is only a part of an immense universal system in which there are forces and forms of existence that play a certain role in it. Imagine that one fine day humanity, for reasons that we, with our limited ability to perceive, cannot yet explain, was plunged into the maelstrom of cosmic events.

Then a new segment of the history of mankind would begin, the history of man in the future.

In the main bunker of Mission Control at the Nevada Range, the electronic " nervous system» space port, the final preparations for the launch were in a fever.

The people in the engineering department responsible for the ship's electronics were testing the circuits inside the astro-electronic computing brain, whose job it was to make possible course corrections.

Automatic "B", a special robot designed for launching, control of stage separation and telecontrol, was also tested.

The electronic brain "C", the robotic coordinator of all incoming radar echoes and at the same time the command station of a special remote-controlled intra-location camera, functioned absolutely flawlessly, as one would expect.

The final control calculations matched up to the last decimal place.

Chief Engineer reported on the readiness of the three main automatic devices for starting and remote-controlled electronics.

The same thing happens that has already been experienced during many previous launches. Only the prevailing nervousness will betray to an experienced observer that this time we are not talking about a "normal" rocket launch.

Armed from head to toe, the soldiers at the northern entrance to the main bunker of Mission Control casually saluted. Three-star General L. Pounder, commander-in-chief of the Nevada Spaceport and chief of the main headquarters of space research, did not attach much importance to the accuracy of the greeting at such moments. It was enough for him to know that his men were on duty.

Exactly at 00:15, exactly according to plan, Pounder entered central station bunker control. He was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Colonel Maurice, as well as the scientific director of the project, Professor Dr. F. Lehmann. Lehmann is best known as the director of the California Academy of Space Flight, which has been in existence since 1968.

The senseless fussiness inside Mission Control did not disappear with the arrival of management. The general was here, that's all.

Leslie Pounder, notorious in Washington for his uncompromising enforcement of his demands, stepped up to the big control television screen.

Pounder rested both hands on the arms of the swivel chair. For a few moments, he froze in a motionless pose. Professor Lehmann grasped his rimless glasses with a nervous gesture. In his opinion, there were many other more important things than checking, accompanied by the chief of constantly monitored things. He sent the Chief of Staff a pleading look.

Colonel Maurice shrugged imperceptibly. This meant: we must wait. Pounder clearly had a few more questions on his mind.

Breathtaking in beauty and power,” said Pounder quietly. He was still staring at the big TV screen.

But something in me stubbornly asks the question whether we are going too far, however. Spaceflight specialists still consider launching from Earth an insane risk. We must overcome not only the resistance of the air! We still have to achieve in addition such a speed that would be more than sufficient for the launch of the orbital station. This is 7.08 km per second or 25,400 km per hour.

The orbital velocity of the manned space station, Professor Lehmann hastily explained, is not decisive in our case. I propose once again to discuss the difficulties that arise when assembling prefabricated individual parts in open space in conditions of weightlessness. We have a sad experience. It is much easier to build a spacecraft on Earth than 1730 km from the Earth's surface. The amount of savings will be more than $350 million per block.

By this you made a huge impression in Washington,” the general chuckled. - Well, now nothing can be changed. Let's hope that the brilliant results of test flights will justify today's risk. Professor, four of my best people will be aboard this ship! If something goes wrong, you will hear about it from me.

Introduction

The game is controlled with the mouse. Double clicking the mouse will make Perry move faster. The inventory is at the bottom of the screen. If you click on the icons in the inventory with the right mouse button, you can get information about this character or inventory item. By left-clicking on the C-1215 multifunctional handheld computer (MFRK) in the inventory, you can find out the current task for Perry. Built-in positronics stores all found data and information, and also allows you to enter reminders of what needs to be done. If you drag an inventory item onto the MFRK icon, then this item can be viewed in the approximation. A semantic room scanner is built into the handheld computer. If you press the "S" key on the keyboard, then semantronics is activated and points to objects that are associated with the current search or task. This model also has a special built-in DNA converter that can overwrite all biometric data and turn Perry into colonist Laszlo Daikona.

To talk to a character, you need to click on him with the left mouse button. If you drag any icon from the inventory onto the character, you can talk about it with the person to whom you dragged the icon. To take the found item, you need to click on it with the left mouse button.

After the introductory video, we go to the left, we are trying to open the door to our own office. But due to disturbances in the positron system, the door is blocked. We go down to the left, we pass along the long corridor to the very end. We stand on the platform of the teleporter and go down. From the report of the soldiers, we learn that Lunara Almazi was abducted by robots of an unknown design. On the lift we return to the top. Once again we go down to clarify some obscure points. Having risen upstairs, we approach the door of Lunara's office, but we cannot get there either because of the disconnected power supply. We move along the corridor towards our office and now we go to the right screen. We enter the teleporter, but instead of the Residence we get into the hangar. We follow the soldier to the right screen. We speak with bionics from external platforms and move on. We get acquainted with Yuri, and then we talk with the soldier. We go into the technical room, which is located to the right of Yuri. We click on the left screen to restore temporary power supply between floors. Click on this terminal again. Before us are power supply capsules that are not in working order. First, let's try to unlock the door of our own office at number 936. This number is displayed at the bottom of the middle capsule. We look at the symbols of the capsules on the left, find the symbols 9-3-6 and use the arrows to set these images at the top of the middle capsule. If everything is done correctly, then a thin beam of light will light up inside the capsule. To the right of our energy capsule, there is a capsule of the doors of Bull's office. The number of his office is 938. Click on the signs "+" or "-", enter the number 938 at the bottom. Then, in the way we already know, we enter the symbols of his office at the top. If everything is done correctly, then this energy capsule will light up. The last capsule from the door of Lunara's office, but we do not know her number.

We click on the right terminal, from which cleaning robots and other service automation are controlled, but the terminal is faulty. A maintenance terminal icon will appear in your inventory. We leave the room and to the right of the door we see Lunara's glider, we try to use it. The guard stops our intentions. Again we speak with the bionic from the external platform and ask him to call a technician to repair the terminal. To do this, drag the terminal icon to the bionic.

We go to the teleporter and return to our office. We click on the right screen, we receive a message from Lunara and Aimo Martell. We leave the office and go to Bych's office, which is located to the right of our office. We raise the remote control for flying models from the floor. Looking at finished models spaceships. At the back of the room, we are trying to enter Bull's personal terminal, but we need an access password.

We leave the office and go towards the left teleporter. We meet a technician near Lunara's office and talk to him. We drag the icon of the faulty terminal onto it. We return to the corridor and begin to watch information boards that tell about the exploits of Perry Rodan. We need to find a board called "Solar Residence". An icon for Ulan Soso should appear in your inventory.

We return to our office and rise to the dais. This is where Perry's personal informant is located. We click on the informatorium to talk with Temira. Then we drag and drop all the icons on the informatorium to get comprehensive information about all the characters and objects. We get a plate with Swan's omega decimal symbols.

The icon with this sign is also dragged to the informatorium. We leave the office, go to the right teleporter. We see a technician near the bionics, we speak with him. We show the technician a plate with omega decimal symbols. On the device, to the right of the bionic, we notice glasses with a thermal scanner, click on them.

We return to Lunara's office. We use glasses with a thermal scanner on the plate above the door, find out the number of her office: 256.

We go to the right teleporter, we go down to the hangar. We go into the technical room, take a box with lunch from the floor. Click on the left terminal. We enter the number of Lunara's office 256 below. We look at the omega decimal symbols.

We enter the symbols corresponding to 256 at the top to unlock the door to Lunara's office.

We leave the utility room and hurry to Lunara's office. We go in and take a look. Lunara put a protective military screen on her safe. I wonder what she can store in this safe? We are trying to get closer, but we are prevented from doing this carnivorous plant. We will not experiment and check for ourselves whether the juice of this plant is actually capable of digesting even bones.

We return to our office and drag the icon of a carnivorous plant onto the informatorium. We learn that this plant can be calmed with the help of zuurg flies. Lunara bred these flies in special vats on the terrace, but there are now full of soldiers who do not let us go further than the teleporter. You need to come up with some trick to distract them.

We go to the right teleporter and go down to the hangar. We hurry to the utility room with the terminals. We speak with the technician and wait for him to leave the room. We click on the right terminal and send cleaning robots to the terrace. We go out and ask Yuri to fix the remote remote control, which we found in Bych's office.

We go to Lunara's office, and from there - to the left teleporter. To the left of the teleporter, we raise the severed head of the combat robot. To the right of the teleport, we click on the remains of the cleaning robot, we take out a part of the plastic model of the spacecraft from there. While the guards are enthusiastically chasing the cleaning robots, we rise to the upper terrace, which can be seen in the distance. To the right of the stairs we raise anti-screen mines. To the left of the stairs we see a huge vat, over which zuurg flies swarm. We use a lunch box on this vat.

We return to the teleporter and go to Lunara's office. We use a box with a lunch filled with flies on a carnivorous plant. We pass behind the plant, approach the table and take Lunara's notebook from there, read it. We go to the safe, we use anti-screen mines on it. We take away from the safe an ancient artifact and the head of a service robot.

We hasten to Bych's office. We approach the table with models, apply the found plastic part to the model of the spacecraft, we get its full name.

We return to our office and apply all the new icons to the informatorium. We learn that the spaceship, whose name we have restored, was controlled by the legendary Leclerc.

We go to Bych's office and enter the password LECLERC into his informant. We click several times on Bych's informatorium to get all the necessary information and the plan of the Institute of Robotics.

We leave the office and go down to the hangar. We approach Yuri and show him the head of the service robot. We look at the latest frames recorded by the robot. We go into the room with the terminals. When the technician leaves, click on the right terminal and send the guide to the hangar. We leave the room, observe the scene of the appearance of the holographic guide and fly away on the Lunara glider.
