Characters This anime is twofold. If we talk about the protagonists, no matter which guild you take, all the characters are charismatic and sincere. They are all jerks, but on the good side. The humor of this title also rests on the unusualness of the local characters, which, by the way, really went to me. Their attitude towards their opponents, by the way, can be described by the phrase Happy:

Their actions are explained in a very childish way: they are bad because they are bad, and just want to. At least not all of them) But, to be honest, it didn’t really interfere with viewing.
But here OSTs- it's just epic wines, as they say here. The music here is simply gorgeous, at what point you can’t take it.

Well, another strong and at the same time controversial side of the anime is its Plot. Firstly, I have never been so interested in following the development of plots in arches in any other shonen. All the arches (well, maybe only except one) were very enticing and kept you waiting for the denouement. However, what always infuriated was the completely idiotic, at times, actions of the characters. Fully. Dumb. And I don't know what these decisions are connected with. Look - you will understand.
Summing up, I will say that despite all the shortcomings, I liked the anime. The openings are good, especially 5 and 7. Of the endings, I'll highlight 11. AKHTUNG: beware of episodes 126, 136, 138, 145 - they're damned.

One of the top anime I've ever watched, there is absolutely no blood in this anime, but it didn't hurt. In general, the anime went down, a lot of epic fights, good arcs, Natsu was generally remembered for his reckless actions and misdeeds, which is why he is his favorite character I really liked the arc with the island of the heavenly wolf, because I saw the legendary Zeref there, as well as Acnologia! on 2 between Natsu and Gajeel, and here Natsu did a duet of dragons on easy without even using lightning.
An excellent anime "For the whole family" but of course the emphasis is on the children's audience and there is a minimum of deaths and all the strength of the heroes revolves around friendship. It is also worth considering that this is an entertaining anime there is no drama or romance (except perhaps a little), when you start watching anime it is worth considering again that the audience of this anime is children there is no blood here, but this does not interfere at all, still the anime is good)
The anime is too childish at first it seemed good, but the further the more monotonous the plot. The characters do not develop in any way and show themselves to be too cheating. An anime that got me interested in its popularity, as well as the mixed opinions of otaku regarding its component: some say that it is the best and looks in one breath, and some say that it is the most boring shonen that does not deserve attention. However, no matter what anyone's opinion is, one thing is certain - the characters in this title are quite memorable and often catch the eye in various groups related to anime. So often that one day it makes you exclaim "but who are these people ?!" and go watch FT.
The first impression is important, and, as in any anime, it is created here by the drawing - very specific, but not to say that it is repulsive. Yes, I would not say that it is perfect, but you can’t call it bad either ... in short, taste. However, despite its "angularity" (as it seemed to me), it is well remembered - and this is one of the most important aspects. Ten years ago, it didn’t hurt your eyes, and now it doesn’t hurt either, so why complain?
In addition to the visual component, the musical component is no less important - iii... everything is about the same as with the drawing - mediocre, since most of it passes by and leaves no emotions. However, the "smaller part", that is, the OSTs that I liked, I will note below.

Speaking of soundtracks playing in the background - only one is remembered, but one that covers all the others: this, of course, Fairy Tail Main Theme. You can't argue with the name - this OST perfectly conveys the spirit of the guild during the next mahych, and sets the atmosphere for the audience, plus, throughout the series it happens in different arrangements - for example, the same music, but already sounding slow and sad. I found the perfect ringtone for myself, thanks to fairytail.
Drawing-music is all great and important, but what is the most important component in any anime? That's right, the plot. And, again, as in the previous two categories, everything is ambiguous with him. But here it is in order.
Starting with the pluses, I consider the characters to be the main one and immediately conspicuous - both the main ones and often the secondary ones. I already mentioned that drawing plays into the hands of popularization "Tales of Fairy Tail", and coupled with excellent character designs, it turns out to be fire in general - having seen this company somewhere a couple of times, even before viewing the title, you can easily determine: "- oh, this is a fairytale." In general, Chardis did not let us down, and everything is fine with the characters: of course, absolutely every member of this story and for 175 episodes may not have enough time to reveal it properly, but in any case, attention to the secondary ones pleases. Although it is impossible to return all the characters that managed to light up during the first season (and in some cases it is not necessary), many caused me a lot of positive emotions, reappearing on the screen after some time (Lyon, for example). And in general, secondary characters are often more catchy than the main ones - the same story with Elfman, Mira and their sister, for example ... Of course, you can’t call the characters complex and ambiguous here, but the anime did not initially position itself as deep and serious.
Also, from the pluses, I can note some arches that I remember - I think, on this moment I like Edolas and the Great Magic Games the most (which, however, ends already in the second season, but so far I like it). Edolas, however, let us down towards the end, but at least most of it was very entertaining - this whole topic with
parallel world, character opposites, and limited magic
Just wow, one of the most interesting in FT. This is not to mention the fact that the stories of Mystogan and Happy with Charles were a bonus to it - the last two were especially pleased, because literally every viewer was at least a little interested in where talking cats came from among people, especially when you consider that in the guild they are used to it and no one attaches any importance to it.
Well, one more small plus is the chibi characters in the endings (they are very cute) and the wheel of fortune, which for some reason was removed somewhere in the seventh ending, but it's a pity, it was a good feature.
If there are pluses, then there are minuses, and here there really is scope for painting emotions ... In general, the first thing I would like to draw attention to is the lack of drama in some moments. I remember that there is no drama in the FT genres, but at some points it was really necessary, for example, when
Wendy and the others learned that the Cat House Guild never existed and that its members were ethereal bodies. The moment when all of Wendy's friends and family vanished into thin air should have hit Wendy's psyche hard and, accordingly, hurt the soul of the viewer, but then suddenly Natsu jumps out with a chibi face and yells "what?". Thank you, the tension of the moment is killed by misplaced comedy. No, of course, with the disappearance of the Guild Master, it was a little better - they inserted sad music, and the scene with the disappearance of the mark on the shoulder, and tears, and all things, but it had to be done earlier.
Speaking of oversights in terms of drama, I also want to mention the very end of the arc about passing the exam for a senior wizard, where
almost the entire Fairy Tail guild disappeared for seven years. To maintain the illusion that everyone died, it would be possible to remove the eternal chatter of Natsu and Happy after the credits, and instead just start cutting moments from the next series to some calm music. Well, it would not hurt the scene, in my opinion, it would even be better.
Another minus of FT is a minus, which, in fact, is quite common, namely the stupidity of the characters in some moments, or just something that seemed illogical to me. The most obvious example of stupidity in this title, in my opinion, was in the arc with the examination for the senior wizard, when
Lucy and Loki fought a member of the Seven Bloods of Purgatory, namely Capricorn. Okay, they didn't recognize him at first sight, mistaking him for a "goat", that's okay. But after he introduced himself during the fight, shouldn't his essence be obvious to the spirit caster? And okay, Lucy, but Loki, who is the spirit itself, why didn’t it immediately reach ?!
Illogicality - there are already two examples. The first was in the same ill-fated arch with the exam, or rather, when
the top of the island with the tree was broken off, and, feeling the decline of magical power, the main heroes fell to the ground (they calmly walked in Edolas without magic, didn’t they?)
And the second - not that illogical, but it seemed strange to me -
in the arc with the unification of the four guilds, we were told for a long time that the Nirvana curse is very powerful, incredibly dangerous and generally terrible, and in the end, when it worked on Sherry and she turned into some kind of yandere, it dispelled ... just after how she saw the living Lyon. I expected such a curse to be much more difficult to remove, and even after she saw her lover safe and sound, she would continue to be angry (for example, she would hate Lyon himself for making her worry, or his friends, for putting her lover at risk). But no, everything was decided by feelings. And why then so many speeches about the power of the curse of Nirvana, if in reality everything is so primitive...
And probably the last negative trait, which is not even a feature, it's STUNNING, damn them, and, accordingly, the episode with their debut. How glad I am that these characters are not part of the manga, which means they disappeared forever along with that filler arc about the clock, which, by the way, was also not so hot. No, seriously, a series full of fart jokes is the last thing a fairy needs. I don’t know, maybe they were conceived as comical characters, but I was somehow more ashamed than funny. FT authors, I beg you, if you make villains, then don't make them get off, because it's terrible even for a filler.
Well, in conclusion, I can say that even though it seems to me that there are a little more minuses in FT than pluses, I can’t say that I frankly hate this title. It has a lot of memorable characters, good action, and in general, if you want to watch something simple and fun, then this will not be the worst choice. But even to the best, in my opinion, he is far away ... however, everyone has different tastes, so if "The Tale of Fairy Tail"- your favorite anime, then I have nothing against it.
Well, since I have a habit of watching anime to the end, regardless of whether I am delighted with it or not, I will do my best to hope that the second season will pull at least a seven - judging by the information seen on the network, it will improve, at least, at least the art and music. But I'll put it first 6/10 , as you might guess.
Complete garbage. It was recommended to me more than once, as I tried to see it more than once, of course, all attempts were unsuccessful as much as trying to overcome the whole earth along the equator on my own spirit. 3 series - this is my limit, then I simply did not master "it", a template on a template in a template. My rating is 4/10 (Bad).
So for me the fairy tale about fairy tail ended, quite a lot of episodes turned out in general and, whatever one may say, you feel affection for the characters, so it’s rather difficult to objectively evaluate. The first season was really very good, 175 episodes really flew by unnoticed, the series was just great, kind, with exciting fights, great humor, nice art, unforgettable music and some small moments that distinguished fairy tail. It would seem, what should the creators of this anime do next? Continue like this just by telling the main story and success is guaranteed, but unfortunately it turned out to be too difficult, I have no idea who is to blame for such a rapid decline in the series, but what happened next really breaks the heart. It’s not clear why they decided to change the drawing, it became some kind of flat chtoli, although of better quality, probably, but I personally didn’t like it, the first episodes of the second season were very hard to watch, the series began to be terribly stretched and if before it seemed that the episodes just flew by incredibly quickly, then by the end of the second season, the series simply dragged on, out of 23-24 minutes, 10-15 minutes were allotted only for the description of the content of previous episodes and flashbacks, but even this was not enough, the creators decided that the remaining time of the main action of the series should be even more stretched out, the events proceeded very slowly, although I would not say that I didn’t like the plot itself, by no means, on the contrary, it was quite interesting to watch, but this is stretching for 100 episodes, GOD FOR WHAT, as they say, it feels like it’s in the second season 175 episodes, not the first. For some reason, they removed such small moments as magic circles and stopping the picture in the form of a sketch (later they will return), although it was cool, but they added a bunch of words during the battle and standing for 200+ hours and endless flashbacks like in naruto, but only there it is very strong the plus was in the dramatic component, here fairy tail only lost one of its pluses - it’s some kind of action, but the drama didn’t appear much by itself, because as you know, the author of the manga doesn’t like to kill characters, it seems to him that the fans don’t like it, but sometimes it just got to the point of absurdity, the peak of which occurred in the third season. So if the second season is just harder to watch, then the third has become simply not watchable, I only liked a couple of fights and it seemed to me that the last episode was closer to the first season in terms of drawing, maybe it just seemed. But what is happening in the series itself is simply out of the question, as they say: military operations are just nonsense, it doesn’t look like a war, the rivals are simply unrealistic, the battles are boring, the animation, as it was, remained terrible, although it is clear that the series lacked money does not suffer, it seems that the main part of the plot is not bad, but the details are just nonsense even for a fairy tale, pianos, humor simply disappeared by the end, what is happening is presented at such serious events, but only nonsense happens in the series, I would like to separately note the translation, if for the first season there were some options, then for the second there were only happiness, snowflakes, nanochi and other nonsense, it seems that the Sabers are not all right with their heads sometimes. There is only one thing left here from the beginning of the series to the end - these are incredibly charismatic characters and wonderful music, the rest unfortunately just disappeared, it's a pity. I really liked naruto and I thought I finally found a shounen that would be just as interesting, but started in good health and ended as usual.
I think that all the same, fairy tail does not deserve the time spent on it, to be extremely objective, because the series is very long, this disappointment is definitely not worth it.

The music is simply gorgeous, in each of the three seasons, all the openings are beautiful, and the main ost is a masterpiece, the endings are made in the chibi style and quite a nice little music.
There is almost no real villain in ft, in the end they are all friends and against other antagonists they will be pianos.
The most empty characters. The main characters have not changed in any way, no matter what event happens, they DO NOT grow, the characters for all the series have developed only in a romantic way, well, there Greyka reciprocated, Gajeel and Levi, they cannot stand the morality of the battle. Natsu was like an idiot who didn't care about romantic relationships, he needed to fight and eat, so in the end..
Wendy and Lucy are useless (each of them was useful no more than 3 times)

Fairy Tail is an anime from which I experienced a lot of emotions. During the viewing, my fart was torn off the bolts a bunch of times, I burned like oil, hated, cursed, vomited and caught wild facepalms from what was sometimes going on there. I will not paint specifically on points, but I will say that the level; idiocy, stupidity, absurdity, irritability, illogicality, disgust, facepalm and all that, it goes off scale here. This applies to certain situations of characters and their actions.
BUT! I loved this anime. This, probably, can be compared, in its own way, with the "Stockholm Syndrome" After all, in addition to all this, there were moments of laughter, joy, such emotional, kind, soulful, warm, atmospheric moments, where even a tear is not a sin. During the viewing, I became attached to the characters and the atmosphere itself, which eventually smoothed out the cons of the title and allowed me not to burn so much. In many ways, this was facilitated by dramatic moments both in the story itself and in the fate of the characters, like the story of Lisanna Ultira and others.
I love and hate him at the same time, and I can’t put less than 10, and despite everything, I don’t regret that I started watching. If you still decide to watch this, then I wish you a pleasant viewing.
Whoever says anything about this anime, no matter how criticized and belittled, Fairy Tail will always be in my heart. He became a father to me, as for many he was Naruto or Pokemon. And no matter how my tastes change, the 10-year-old inside of me will always remember this story with a smile on my face.
And the other day, something pulled me to revise the random episodes of the first season, and you know, when you look at some things already at a conscious age, you begin to see other sides that you didn’t notice before. You begin to see not only quite an interesting plot with charismatic characters and good humor, but also Love creators to such a seemingly simple story.
Can't express how much I admire world elaboration, which is expressed in all these magic circles, inner lore and all sorts of useless, but pretty cute goodies like glasses fast reading or using magic to get around in local cars.
General form of magic is also worthy of special attention, because here are not just characters who use some random abilities, but a whole structure with its own classification and certain rules and restrictions, as well as nested lore. As, for example, the ice-makers must use two hands for the actual creation; dragon slayers have a whole history of the origin of their magic and, in the future, all sorts of mysteries in the plot; and spirit casters have an etiquette for interacting with their spirits.
Characters here is the main decoration of the title. The anime wouldn't even be half as interesting without these crazy characters. But the humor in the FT out of context is really flawed, but the colorful characters here create the most ridiculous and ridiculous situations only by their existence, at least shoot a sitcom. But even in spite of this, they all have some kind of personal drama that somehow touches you.
Plot here is not so much a basis, but a tool for the development and disclosure of characters. It is not particularly remarkable when viewed separately, in the form of a retelling. But still, I liked all these thin threads that stretch to the main plot, starting from the second season. They are hard to notice, but when you do find them, you feel like a kind of pioneer.
But in addition to the main plot, there is fillers. A word that scares a lot of shonin fans and I can understand them. But not in this case. Here, of course, the taste and color, but one-episode about any movement in the guild, like a daily race or a lottery while admiring the sakura, touches me so much. And to say that I was shocked when I found out that my favorite arc is a filler is to say nothing. The arc of the clock fit too perfectly into the canon, and I even have suspicions that the mangaka, at least a little, but helped in the development process.
Also want to mention technical component series, as a bright memorable drawing, delightful and unique soundtracks and quite original endings. This once again proves how much soul was invested by the people working on the project.
Summing up, I want to say that Fairy Tail does not deserve such a dismissive attitude towards itself. Yes, it is not perfect and some parts of the show want the best, but this is not a reason to judge it biased. Each work is good in its own way and Fairy Tail knows its strengths, for which I appreciate it.
I give him hard 8/10
