2.1 Typing must be done on an IBM-compatible computer in a standard text format (MS WORD XP and higher):

    the text, if necessary, may contain highlights (italic, bold, etc.);

    the text is typed indented on the left (red line);

    headlines are recorded capital letters, word wraps in headings are not allowed, do not put a dot at the end of the heading;

    paragraphs are separated from each other by an empty line;

    one paragraph is allocated under the formula, containing its number (in accordance with the numbering of formulas in the text of the article), enclosed in parentheses. Formulas, even those consisting of a single character, are typed only using the Equations Editor or Math Type. It is categorically not allowed to replace Latin and Greek letters with similar Russian ones, as well as the sign of the sum - capital letter sigma. If it is necessary to use Russian letters in formulas, then they should be typed in text style;

    The illustration is scanned in black and white or color (with a resolution of at least 300 DPI) and provided on one diskette along with the text (preferably in TIF format). Illustrations (with number and full caption) must be submitted as color or black-and-white glossy photographs.

2.2 When using the Word text editor, you should adhere to the following rules:

2.2.1 The text should be located along the width of the page, taking into account the margins (left, right, top, bottom - 2.5 cm), typed in Thimes New Roman No. 14, line spacing 1.0. Paragraph indents should be the same throughout the text - 1.25 cm.

Quotation marks (" "), brackets (, ()), markers and other marks must be kept the same throughout the entire submission.

          Mathematical and natural science texts, as well as texts containing diacritics, signs of the international phonetic alphabet, are recommended to be typed using the LaTex system, guided by the usual rules.

Approximate regulation on the Olympiad

  1. General provisions

      The Olympiad is a competition of students in the creative application of knowledge and skills in the disciplines studied in an educational institution, as well as in preparedness for the application of this knowledge and skills in a special field.

      This provision determines the status, goals, objectives, procedure for holding an intra-college (intra-technical) Olympiad.

      The general management of the Olympiad is carried out by the subject (cycle) commission of teachers of the relevant discipline.

      The chairman of the subject (cycle) commission, in preparation for the Olympiad, makes proposals on the composition of the organizing committee and the jury, and also draws up a regulation on the Olympiad in a particular discipline, including:

    the order of the olympiad,

    requirements for writing tasks for the Olympiad,

    requirements for completing tasks and summarizing results,

    proposals for rewarding students.

      The organizing committee, the jury includes: chairman, executive secretary, members. The distribution of duties between members of the organizing committee and the jury is carried out by the chairman of the subject (cyclic) commission.

      The calendar dates, the form of holding, the composition of the participants of the Olympiad are determined by the regulation on the Olympiad and the order approved by the director of the educational institution.

      Olympiads can be held annually and take place in one or more stages.

      Students who have shown the best results in the previous stage are admitted to each subsequent stage.

      Each task is assigned its own difficulty level.

      Minutes of the jury meeting on the distribution of places, types of awards for participants in the Olympiad are drawn up by the chairman of the jury and submitted to the head of the department within three days from the date of the Olympiad for approval by the director of the educational institution.

      Based on the presentation of the head of the department, following the results of the Olympiad, an order is issued to award the winners. The form of the award is determined by the educational institution.

  • 2. Participants have the right to use the following materials in the printed edition (electronic versions are strictly prohibited):

    • participants in the direction"Urban planning" have the right to use the personal Town Planning Code of the printed edition ( electronic editions strictly prohibited);
    • participants in the direction"Innovation"have the right to use reference material without restrictions on the type of source of information (electronic publications are strictly prohibited);
    • participants by directions"Measurements in Psychology and Education", "Management", "Oriental and African Studies", "Journalism" and profiles “Counseling psychology. Personology", "Corporate Lawyer", "Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law", "Politics. Economics. Philosophy", "Media Management"have the right to use personal English-Russian dictionary printed edition (electronic editions are strictly prohibited);
    • participants in the direction"Political Analysis and Public Policy" and by profile "Population and Development" have the right to use a personal Russian-English and / or English-English dictionary of the printed edition (electronic editions are strictly prohibited;
    • participants by directions"Philology" and "Linguistics"(no more than two paper dictionaries) have the right to use a personal English-Russian, French-Russian and German-Russian dictionary (electronic editions are strictly prohibited).

    3. Participants by directions"Urban Planning", "Political Analysis and Public Policy", "Applied Mathematics and Informatics", "World Economy", "Mathematical Methods for Economic Analysis", "Finance and Credit", "Electronics and Nanoelectronics", "Innovation" by profile "Business Informatics", " Electronic business”, “Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation” can use a personal accounting (simple, +/-) calculator.

    4. Not allowed to use and even have in the workplace : reference materials, except for those listed in paragraph 2; calculators, except for the cases listed in paragraph 3; pocket computers and any other electronic computing devices; mobile phones and other means of communication; players. The use of these materials and means is prohibited both in the classroom and in the entire building throughout the competition until the end of the time allotted for the Olympiad task.

    5. Not allowed:

    • ask other participants questions and answer other participants' questions;
    • get up and change seats, interfere with other participants and organizers;
    • write off and allow other participants to write off;
    • exchange any materials and objects;
    • continue the task after the end of the time allotted for the competition;
    • leave the audience if the competition lasts 120 minutes or less. After the second hour of the competition, the participant is allowed to leave the audience for a good reason, but not more than 5-7 minutes and accompanied by one of the organizers.

    6. In case of violation of the rules of participation in the Olympiad, the participant is suspended from further participation in this competition, and his work is canceled.

    7. The participant has the right: contact the organizers with questions about the organization of the competition and the design of the work, after the end of the competition, make comments and complaints about the competition in the protocol of the competition olympiad tasks, apply for medical care, to hand over the work ahead of schedule, to receive the text of the Olympiad task at the end of the competition.

    8. Pre-schedule delivery of works of participants stops 15 minutes before the end of the competition.

    9. At the end of the competition, participants must remain in their places until the permission of the organizers to leave the audience.

    Work registration rules

    1. The participant must complete the work on the answer sheet. In the answer forms, it is allowed to write on both sides of the sheet, starting from the third sheet.

    2. The participant must fill in the title page, fill in and sign the Participation Protocol on the first sheet of the answer form, write the name of the direction and profile (indicate the code) on the second sheet, and do not write anything else on the first sheet of the answer form.

    3. Participants of the Olympiad by directions"Mathematics", "Mathematical Methods for Analyzing the Economy", "Finance and Credit" and "Economics"have the right to change the profile chosen by them during registration.

    4. The work must be done with a blue or black ink pen. It is forbidden to use a pen with red and green ink, use a pencil to write down the solution, answers.

    5. Paper for drafts and additional sheets to the answer sheet are issued by the organizers at the request of the participants.

    6. Drafts of work, as a rule, are not checked. The jury may decide to check the drafts of the work of the participants in the Olympiad in the areas"Urban Planning", "Political Analysis and Public Policy", "Applied Mathematics and Informatics", "Mathematics", "Sociology", "Demography" and "Applied Mathematics" and by profile "Linguistic theory and description of language" in the case of instructions in the work "see draft".

    7. In the answer form and in the drafts submitted for verification, one cannot indicate the full name, make any notes indicating the authorship of the work.

    8. Corrections can be made in the answer sheet, which must be clear and unambiguously interpreted. If you need to make corrections, you can carefully cross out the wrong answer and write the correct one.

    9. The participant's handwriting must be legible. The jury may refuse to check the work of the participant in case of "illegible" handwriting.

    10. It is allowed to replace the pen, title page, answer sheet.

    11. "Software Engineering" perform part of the task on the computer.

    12. Participants of the Olympiad in the direction"Journalism"can choose a task (block 2) to run on the computer.
