The nature of their relationship is unclear, some considered Ronder to be Kymaen's half-sister, others thought she was his lover.

According to legend, Kimaen foresaw her appearance in one of his dreams, in which he hunted wild myumuu in the Kanbal jungle. In this dream, he was killing mymumu with a sword. The gods did not answer his prayers, and he returned to his people.

In an attempt to forget Rondera, Kimaen took ten wives, who later bore him thirty children. But even this did not help him get rid of his longing for Ronder, and then he changed his name as a sign that he would mourn her forever. From now on, he began to be called Grievous (eng. grievous - sad, mournful).

End of the Hak War

After some time, Grievous became the most famous and most cruel warlord of the Kalishians. The warriors he recruited Izvoshra, killed the yam'riy by the thousands, and soon they were forced to leave the planet. Not satisfied with what he had achieved, Grievous began to take over the yam'rii colonies, destroying everything in his path and making no exceptions for civilian objects.

After his troops captured the planet Tovarskl, the Yam'rii, allied with the Trade Federation, turned to the Republic for help. The Republic Judicial Department, in response to the Trade Federation's request, sent a Jedi team to Tovarskl, led by Masters T'Chuka D'Un and Jmmaar. Under pressure from the Senate, a decision was made about the illegality of the actions of the Kalishians, they were ordered to return the worlds-colonies of the yam'rii and pay a huge fine. As promised, Grievous was left with his own eyes, only slightly modified to accommodate his new abilities. The cyborg also cut out a new mask for himself, which resembled his father's mask, made from a Myumuu skull. Even the scientists of Poggle the Small had to modify the brain of Grievous, during this they removed some of the memories and changed his psyche. As part of the experiment to create Grievous the cyborg, he was transfused with the blood of Master Sifo Diaz. Partial revival

After the execution of Order 66, the clones moved the remains of General Grievous and his ship "Soulless" (starfighter Bellbulab-22) to one of the storage facilities on Utapau.
