Exercises for the development of diction: tongue twisters, chants, tongue twisters. Growing up and playing with nursery rhymes: help for parents Recommended rules for practicing tongue twisters

Mysterious "zealous long-maned horse"

Of course, there are many incomprehensible things in folklore texts (even in literary processing) for modern urban children. For example, in this counting:

zealous horse,
Longmane
Rides across the field
Rides the field.
Who is the horse
Togo will catch
With us in the halls
Plays.

My four-year-old son literally attacks me with questions: “Zealous - what is it?”, “What does long-maned mean?”, “Why does a horse have a long mane?”, “What is a field?”, “How does he ride a field?”, “How play tag?" And I love answering those questions. After all, that's what a beautiful old word - "zealous." This is ardent, hot, and diligent, diligent. Great!
And in the drawing by Corinna Pretro, a real horse, which has reared up and impatiently beats its hoof, is depicted next to a toy wooden horse on wheels. Probably, so that this incomprehensible "zealous" horse would become closer and more like a child. But I suspect that many of today's kids are closer to the Tiger Duck from the stories of Janos - she is also on wheels, also rides on a rope. Although Fedor received answers to all his questions, I still had the feeling that the zealous long-maned horse retained for him an aura of mystery, unearthlyness, fabulousness. But this son is quite satisfied, since he is now awakening interest in fairy tales and all sorts of magical gizmos.

It must be said that reading folklore texts does not always require such significant intellectual efforts. There are also songs that are quite transparent in meaning:

You knock on the oak tree,
The blue siskin is coming.
At the siskin, at the chizhenka,
Red-haired crest,
And on a little paw
Scarlet shoe.
Siskin flew under the sun
And nodded his head.
Nod, nod, don't nod
Fly into the forest, make a nest.

It is curious: now Fedor says that this nursery rhyme song is “gentle”. Maybe because I often sang it (to a completely unpretentious arbitrary motive) when I rocked Fyodor in infancy. It is known that even very young children are fascinated by rhythmic speech, they feel intonation well and remember emotions. I think that Fyodor has some distant pleasant memories associated with the song about the blue crested chizhenka. That's why he still likes her.

“Come on, let me wear your red boots!”

It seems to me that it is very natural and correct to insert the name of your child into folklore texts and refer to him while reading. Then these folk works, passed down from generation to generation, are “lived through” by both the mother and the child in a truly deep way. I get it like this:

Bye bye, bye bye
Sleep, Fedyashka, don't get up!
And then Babai will come to us,
He will say: “Give Fedenka back!”
And we will not give Fedya,
We need Fedya ourselves.

By the way, Corinna Pretro has a picture of this notorious Babai. Many children are afraid of Babai, but they have absolutely no idea what he looks like. Fedor and I decided that in the drawing Pretro Babai is a half-lion, half-bull and even a little dragon, but he is not scary at all.
Now Fedor is a little jealous that I insert derivatives into his favorite lullabies on behalf of Makar (this is the name of my youngest eight-month-old son). Sometimes you have to sing twice: the first - for Makar, the second - for Fedor, so that both sons are satisfied.

It is interesting that Fedor now himself comes up with the continuation of nursery rhymes with his direct participation. These stories are very simple, but in itself such fantasizing while reading seems to me very valuable. For example, we read:

A mosquito sat under a bush,
On spruce on stumps,
Dangling his feet on the sand
He put his nose under the leaf -
Hid!

Fedor continues: “And I will go into the forest, find a bush, spread the leaves and find a mosquito. Yes, as I scream: “Yeah, I got you!” - and grab him by the nose! There may be another version of the ending: “Come on, let me wear your red boots!” (in Vasnetsov's drawing, a mosquito sits on a stump in smart red boots).

Drawings develop the imagination

Vasnetsov's illustrations are very joyful and elegant, and therefore they are liked by all children without exception. All the characters are well recognizable, while they almost always do something. To a small child It's fun to match text and picture:

Like a rooster in the oven bakes pies,
The cat in the window sews a shirt,
A pig in a mortar crushes peas,
The horse at the porch beats three hooves,
A duck in boots sweeps a hut.

But very often, Vasnetsov's drawing becomes a continuation of the folklore text and awakens the child's own fantasy. For example, this tiny text:

snail, snail,
Stick out the horns!
I will give you, snail,
Pirogue!

There really is a huge snail in the picture, and it is clearly not averse to eating the pie promised for showing the horns. But besides the snail, there is an oak hung with ripe acorns; right in the crown of the tree, a hare with a touching mustache peeps out of the window; from above on the oak, nine more rabbits jump, one of which blows into the pipe; and a ladder is attached to the tree, so that it is clear how they all got there.

Illustrations by Corinna Pretro are more concise (they have less details), but very imaginative, psychological. In style, they resemble painted wooden eggs or trays. And children feel the mood in them and learn to experience different emotions. Here is a short tongue twister:

Containers-bars-
Rastabars!
At Barbara's
Chickens are old!

In the picture, the chicken is drawn in darned felt boots, a scarf tied around the neck in an old man's way, wearing glasses and with a stick. Fyodor and I decided that the elderly hen looked sad, and that same Varvara fed her birds with obvious displeasure or even annoyance. It is quite obvious that such drawings also enrich the text.
And little Makar laughs out loud when he hears: “Tara-bars-rastabars!”. For my youngest son, this rhyme is the main favorite among folklore texts.

Ksenia Zernina

We take an owl in our hands,
Sprinkle yellow sand.
Help me, don't be lazy!
Our little cake, get it!
* * *
Here's a swamp on the way!
How can we pass it?
Jump and jump!
Jump and jump!
Have fun, my friend!

Containers-bars,
Rastabars!
At Barbara's
Chickens are old!

The spider ran along the branch,
And the kids were running after him.
Rain from the sky suddenly poured
Drip-drip-drip-drip
Washed the spiders to the ground!

Drank, ate
Home, fly!
Sat on the head!
The paws sang.

The mice came out once
See what time it is
One two three four
The mice pulled the weights
Suddenly there was a terrible sound
Bom-bom-bom
The mice are out!

Oh, lyuli, lyuli, lyuli,
The cranes have arrived.
How they flew
Everyone looked at them.
Cranes chirped,
The kitties were all purring.

Our fingers are tired.
We'll get some rest
Let's start drawing again.

Shadow-shadow-sweat,
The cat sat on the fence,
The sparrows flew
Clap them hands:
Fly away sparrows
Beware of the cat!

There is a horned goat
For the little guys.

Doesn't drink milk?
Gore gore, gore!

We salt-salt cabbage,

We three or three cabbage
(moving fists against each other)
We press cabbage.
(clench and unclench fists)

This house has five floors:
On the first floor lives a family of hedgehogs,
On the second lives a family of rabbits,
On the third - a family of red squirrels,
On the fourth, a tit lives with chicks,
On the fifth, an owl is a very smart bird.
Well, it's time for us to go back down:
On the fifth owl
On the fourth tit

Bunnies - the second,
On the first hedgehogs, we will come to them.

Walked into the forest.

With this brother

Five fingers on your hand
Call by name sumey.
First finger - lateral,
It's called BIG.
The second finger is a diligent pointer,
No wonder they call him

Therefore AVERAGE
He was given a name.
Fourth finger
It's called UNNAMED.
He is clumsy
And stubborn.
Just like in a family
The younger brother is a favorite.
He is the fifth
It's called LITTLE FINGER.

One two three four five!
Let's count fingers
Strong, friendly
All so necessary.
On the other hand five:
One two three four five!
Fingers are fast
Not very clean though!
A lot of trouble for fingers:
They play patty
Then for some reason they climb into the mouth,
Grandma's books are torn...
Having redone all things,
They pull the tablecloth from the table.
They climb into salt and compote,
And then vice versa.
Friendly fingers, all so necessary!
(Author: Z. Aleksandrova)

This finger wants to sleep
This finger went to bed
This finger just took a nap
This finger is already asleep.
This one is fast asleep.
Quiet! Hush, don't make noise!
The red sun will rise
The clear morning will come.
The birds will chirp
Fingers will rise!
* * *
magpie, magpie
Was white-faced
cooked porridge,
Feeding children:
gave it
And gave to that
And gave the fourth
And the fifth did not give:
fat, fat,
Didn't go for water
Didn't cut wood
No porridge for you!
* * *
We drove, we drove
To the grandmother for nuts,
In the hole - boom!
And there is a rooster.

Ding ding bom
ding ding bong
A cat walks with a bell.
The mice heard right away.
Ding-bom, ding-bom.
They quickly ran into a hole
Ding-bom, ding-bom.
They closed the door firmly.
Ding-bom, ding-bom.
Don't catch them now.
Ding-bom, ding-bom.
* * *
There is a lock on the door.
Who could open it?
pulled - pulled
twisted - twisted
They knocked, they knocked.
And blew fu-u-u-u-u
The lock opens and the game begins!
* * *
Bom-bom-bom
The cat's house caught fire.
Running chicken with a bucket
Fills the cat's house.
The cat jumped out
Eyes popped out
Run away to the river
I drank some water.
Ran away to the tavern -
Got drunk on tobacco.

Because of the forest, because of the mountains
Grandpa Egor is coming.
He is on a gray wagon,
On a creaky horse
Belted with an ax
The belt is tucked into the waist
Boots wide open
Zipun on bare feet.
* * *
The sheep were walking along the road,
Wet feet in a puddle.
One two three four five,
They began to wipe their feet,
Who with a handkerchief
Who is a rag
Who has a holey mitten.

Exercises for the development of diction:

tongue twisters, chants, tongue twisters

Compiled by: Zakharova A. A.,

music teacher MBOU "School No. 14"

Polysaevsky urban district

Every word in speech or in singing, as a rule, should be clear in pronunciation, bright, expressive and loud enough to be clearly audible even in the last row of a large concert hall. For this, first of all, you need excellent diction, that is, a clear, clear pronunciation of words. To achieve the desired results, it is necessary to work on improving the articulatory apparatus, while developing its technical capabilities almost daily.

Singing - this is a speech extended due to the lengthened sound of vowels. By nature, each person is given the ability to sing, and it depends on the person himself whether he wants to develop them.

To improve your vocal skills, it is extremely important to learn how to speak correctly and expressively. Directly on the development of the activity of the articulatory apparatus and the problems of speech, teachers in the technique of speech, as well as speech therapists, work.

Correct speech is the foundation of vocal music. Do not agree? Take a look around, today you most likely will not hear or see a performer suffering from speech defects such as gliding or stuttering, so there is nothing to argue about. But this does not mean that people with incorrect speech skills cannot sing, quite the opposite! The desire to sing, vocal lessons, stimulate people to be more attentive to the sound side of speech (and this applies to all people!).

Diction is a means of conveying the text content of a work, and one of essential funds artistic expressiveness revealing the musical image (If the vowel has flight, the consonant will “fly” after it).

But the task of the singer is to convey the meaning of the work, to reveal the artistic image. Therefore, each word in a vocal work should sound clear, understandable, precise and expressive.

Such skill in the transmission of the word does not come by itself. This is the result of a lot of work on both vocals and diction.

To improve diction, there is an excellent tool - tongue twisters.

As it says in the dictionary tongue twister is a specially invented phrase with an unpronounceable selection of sounds, a quickly pronounced comic joke.

"Patter is a comic genre of folk art, a phrase built on a combination of sounds that make it difficult to quickly pronounce words, for example: "grass in the yard, firewood on the grass" (Dictionary of the Russian language, ed. A.P. Evgenyeva, M .: Russian language 1981-1988).

How to learn tongue twisters?

First, tongue twisters need to be spoken at a slow pace, then increase the pace.

Blabbering" the text into "nowhere", without any sense, will not bring any benefit.

It is important to see what the tongue twister is talking about, to imagine various life circumstances in your imagination, to imagine, for example, either an affectionate request, or an excited story, or a demanding appeal. And thus, the same tongue twister can be pronounced with completely different emotional connotations.

It is also very useful to first pronounce tongue twisters silently and slowly. And then say it out loud, gradually increasing the pace.

In addition to pronunciation, be sure to sing tongue twisters, since the pronunciation of words in singing and in speech is somewhat different. Sing tongue twisters on one sound, on the sounds of a triad, on the sounds of a scale, etc.

There are several ways to work

with phrases:

1. Let the child pick up the ball and, rhythmically tossing and catching it with his hands, say a tongue twister. You can toss and catch the ball for every word or syllable.

2. Let the child say a tongue twister, throwing the ball from one hand to the other.

3. You can say a tongue twister by clapping the rhythm with your palms.

4. Offer to say the tongue twister 3 times in a row and not get lost.

Tongue twisters are short and long, rhyming and non-rhyming, plot and plotless, logical and absurd, with and without repetitions, "built" on one sound and on combinations of sounds, accessible to children's perception and not designed for it. Not many genres of literature can compete with tongue twisters in such a variety.

There are countless different tongue twisters. The most popular are primordially Russian tongue twisters - close to us in meaning and in spirit. However, developing nursery rhymes have not only a national connotation.

Each individual tongue twister is not a random set of sounds and words. She trains certain skills, minting out the pronunciation of a particular “problem” sound.

Each of us has been familiar with tongue twisters since childhood. A funny set of words, rhymes, phrases can be easily amenable to a clear, unmistakable pronunciation, and in some cases they make you try to make people around you hear in the stream of words difficult speeches meaningful. In addition, tongue twisters for the development of diction, in addition to entertainment, will help you learn to clearly pronounce sounds and words, acquire the correct diction and. The latter quite greatly complicate the communication and understanding of your words by the interlocutor.

- phrases related to folk works that have survived to our time, with more than a century of history. The peculiarity of tongue twisters for diction is that they contain words with difficult to pronounce and complex sounds. Try to pronounce them without preparation, quickly and clearly - and you will be surprised to see how familiar and familiar words immediately turn into an inarticulate stream of sounds. But it is worth a little practice, as the difficulties associated with pronunciation will disappear without a trace, and you can easily reproduce a complex phrase in one breath, and each word will become clear and will be easily distinguishable in the speech series. One of the main advantages of tongue twisters is that they are incomprehensible, funny and. And a person is arranged in such a way that he is more attracted to the unusual, and he remembers it more easily.

So, a great way to improve is to use tongue twisters to improve diction.

So what is a tongue twister? As stated in Ozhegov's dictionary, this is a specially invented phrase with an unpronounceable selection of sounds, a quickly pronounced comic joke.

What is the classification?

Often they are classified according to different criteria, usually they distinguish complex or difficult tongue twisters, long tongue twisters, special for diction, fast, for adults, or so on. The division into tongue twisters for adults and for children is rather arbitrary - differences are observed only in their semantic content, while in principle there are very few significant differences in their compilation. If tongue twisters for kids are based on fairy tales and are of a pronounced entertaining nature, then tongue twisters for the development of speech for adults are aimed more at improving speech features, not aiming to entertain a person. Pay attention to those sounds and combinations of sounds, the pronunciation of which causes you difficulty. You can choose tongue twisters designed to train the sounds you need.

Tongue twisters for adults: a fun activity that brings benefits

1. You can choose your favorites and start regularly, for example, set aside 10 minutes 2-5 times a day for their pronunciation.

Gradually, this action will become a habit and you may even enjoy their pronunciation.

2. In order for the process of training diction to go smoothly, and systematically print out 3-5 tongue twisters for yourself. and print in large bright print so that they grab your attention.

3. Hang them around the apartment, or in your office in the places where you most often hold your eyes: the wall opposite the work window, telephone, window, mirror.

4. Tongue twisters should be changed to new ones every 10 days so that the articulatory apparatus does not get used to the pronunciation.

Recommended rules for practicing tongue twisters

1) At first, words should be pronounced slowly, syllable by syllable, pronouncing them clearly, following the rhythm of pronunciation, then, as you improve, speed up the pace

2) Pay special attention to the sharp underlining of endings in words, this improves diction, but again, you need to remember the rule: do not make consonants heavy, but activate

3) Gradually try to pronounce tongue twisters in one breath

4) You can say them in front of the mirror silently and then in a whisper, but the sounds must be clear and audible

5) Try to pronounce the familiar text in different voices: children's, female, male, sing the words

6) It would not be bad not just to set a task. For example: give a task, scold someone, be surprised, indignant, ask a question, express sadness, i.e. use different intonations when reading

7) For your variety, you can say a tongue twister, connect the movement: squat, jump, box, dance, etc.

8) As an option, the words of a slow talker can be put on the music of some folk song, for example, “There was a birch in the field” and sing with pleasure =) The main thing is to approach this creatively, and then everything will work out!

So, the main rule of good pronunciation: to speak quickly, you must learn to speak slowly.
