Village beauty contest. It is held in the Vladimir region as part of the regional program for the socio-economic development of the village. The most well-groomed and attractive is determined by a special commission. Grants are allocated to the winners, and the villagers themselves decide what to spend them on.

Headman Olga Gromova proudly shows native village, in Kunitsyno there are only 30 houses. Carved architraves, front gardens, as well as a pond and a new chapel built by the residents. Isn't it beauty?!

Last year, Kunitsyno became the most beautiful small village in the Vladimir region. IN annual competition Dozens of settlements participate and in different nominations the winners receive from 50 to 150 thousand rubles for improvement. Kunitsyntsy residents put the lighting in order for their prize money, installed new garbage containers, and also made the dream of all the local kids come true.

“We had a goal - to revive a dried-up pond, a fire-fighting pond must be in the village. But we decided: why should he stand and wait for the fire? We decided to make, as the children call it, “kva-kva-park”, - said the headman of the village of Kunitsyno Olga Gromova.

In other villages, roads and water pipes are being repaired with prize money, and somewhere residents are building playgrounds. At the same time, the amount can be doubled - according to another regional program, the administration pays the same amount if the funds go to the development of rural infrastructure.

Residents of the village of Berkovo greet all guests with a song - the most singing village of the Kameshkovsky region this year wants to receive the title of the most beautiful.

“The competition united them so much - it's one big family. They do not demand: give us! They say let's do it together! So that their village is the most beautiful, the most comfortable and the most comfortable,” says Nadezhda Igonina, head of the Vtorovsky rural settlement.

In the village, where everyone gathers together for work and holidays, there is also an art gallery: a local artist has been painting portraits of her fellow villagers for several decades. And even their own puppet theater - real performances are staged in the houses. But still there is no own club.

This year, almost 80 villages are participating in the competition, each is evaluated by a special commission.

“Different nominations, for example, the design is evaluated: how many flower beds, roads, what kind of entrances, lighting, water, what kind of history,” explains Svetlana Orlova, Governor of the Vladimir Region.

In the village of Pavlovskoye, for example, residents plan to develop pottery, and they also built their own museum here. Ella Frolova, together with her fellow villagers, searched the archives for several decades for information about the family estate of Army General Kutuzov Andrei Levanidov. About five thousand people have already visited a small exposition in less than two years.

Today, only the wing, which houses the museum, remains from the huge estate. If Pavlovskoye wins the competition, its inhabitants have already decided to use all their funds to start building the manor house in the very center of the village - photos of it have been found in the archives.

The competition commission is still evaluating the projects of residents, the results will be summed up in mid-September. This year, taking into account all payments, the village, which will receive the Grand Prix, will be able to spend about 300 thousand rubles more on beauty.

On September 27, in one of the recently restored premises of the Vladimir House of Youth Culture, a solemn ceremony was held to announce the winners and prize-winners of the contest "The Most Beautiful Village of the Vladimir Region 2017" and to award them.

Settlements countryside 33 regions compete with each other in amenities, tourist attractiveness, hospitality for the third time. The first competition for the title of the most beautiful village was held in the Vladimir region in 2015.

Start of the third village competition in early June 2017. This time, 47 rural settlements entered the competition: 36 “small” villages (up to 1,000 inhabitants) and 11 “large” villages (up to 3,500 inhabitants). This is 11 applications more than in 2016 and 27 more than in 2015.

Internet voting on the website of the Vladimir branch of the organization of entrepreneurs "Opora Rossii" on August 31 at 6 pm. The organizing committee of the competition considered the results of voting and all materials submitted to the competition until September 15, after which the winners were determined.

Organizers of the competition, sponsors, representatives of the settlements participating in the competition, heads of rural settlements and even district leaders. The event was also attended by the new vice-governor of the Vladimir region for agriculture Alexander Trutnev, deputy assistant State Duma Gennady Kulik Aytugan Tekegaliev and Ekaterina Kraskina, chairman of the regional branch of Opora Rossii.

The awards ceremony was led by Vyacheslav Kartukhin, Chairman of the Council of Supporters of the United Russia Party, Head of the Vladimir Branch of the Presidential Academy, Vice Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region.

Kratukhin noted that a number of rural settlements participate in the competition not for the first time, among them, for example, the villages of Golovino in the Sudogodsky district and Sadovy in the Suzdalsky district, the villages of Mordysh in the Suzdalsky district and Dmitrievy Gory in the Melenkgovsky district, the villages of Orekhovo in the Sobinsky district and Edon in the Vyaznikovsky district.

This year, the organizers did not leave any of the 47 contestants without diplomas and the epithet “best” in any category. Over the names of the nominations, which turned out to be very sonorous and exotic, apparently, I had to seriously break my head.

For the first two awards, due to the lack of representatives of settlements, the head of the administration of the Sobinsky district, Alexander Razov, had to go out - the village of Rukav, near which the construction of the Biotum chemical plant is being completed, won in the nomination "The most equipped village", and the village of Omoforovo was recognized as the most mysterious village the same Sobinsky district.

The village with the richest cultural heritage the village of Krutovo in the Petushinsky district was named, the village of Spas-Kupalishche in the Sudogodsky district was declared the most blessed, and the glory of the most cinematic settlement was approved for the village of Mordysh in the Suzdal district. Most great prospects the organizers of the competition prophesy the villages of Likino, Sudogodsky district, Novoe, Kovrovsky district, and Vorsha, Sobinsky district, and for the warmest hospitality, they rewarded the village of Orekhovo, Sobinsky district.

The village of Markovo, Petushinsky district, was honored for loyalty to traditions, the village of Serkovo, Vyaznikovsky district, for caring for guests, and the village of Dmitrievy Gory, Melenkovsky district, for advanced technologies.

The settlements of the Suzdal region received many more awards: Vyacheslav Kartukhin declared the most picturesque village in the Vladimir region locality Suvorotskoe, and called the village of Sadovy the most fertile.

Ekaterina Kraskina

The best business executives of the Vladimir region, according to the competition commission, live in the village of Chaganovo, Sobinsky district, the most good people inhabit the village of Lyakhi, Melenkovsky district, the most active - in the village of Oktyabrsky, Vyaznikovsky district, the most enterprising - in the village of Semenovsky-Krasny, Suzdalsky district, and most of all they care about the tourist potential in the village of Stepanovo, Sudogodsky district.

The settlement of Edon in the Vyaznikovsky district, which is not the first time trying to break into the prize-winners of the competition "The most beautiful village in the Vladimir region", this year became the winner in the nomination "The most sonorous village".

There were also nominations "The most soulful village", "The most comfortable village", "The most environmentally friendly village", "The most harmonious village". Some of the participants got the title of the most friendly and most creative village. Andrey Filinov, a member of the jury of the competition, director of the Vladimir State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company branch, encouraged the few residents of the disappearing village of Karelskaya Slobodka in the Yuryev-Polsky district for their “will to live”.

Well, the winners in the "small villages" group were recognized: the village of Snegirevo, Kolchuginsky district (3rd place), the village of Matveevka, Selivanovskaya district (2nd place), the village of Kunitsyno, Kameshkovsky district (1st place).

Meet! This is the village of Chamerevo, in the Sudogodsky district of the Vladimir region. And this is the most beautiful rural settlement in the region. At least, it was he who won the competition "The most beautiful village of the Vladimir region" and won 100 thousand rubles.
Going to Chamerevo, I kept wondering: why is this place remarkable? Luckily, I found the answers.

By the way, the locals already know how to spend the 100 thousand rubles won. Over the past few years, the village has been actively working to update the monument to the soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War. Now he looks like this.

In the future, as she told me, the monument will be restored. New plaques will appear with the names of the fighters - not only the fallen, but also the survivors - those who drank the military hard times ... The activists also expect to put in order and improve the area around the monument. These funds will be used for these purposes.

Personally, I came to the conclusion that Chamerevo, like many other villages and villages, is strong in its intelligentsia. Take, for example, the wonderful women who gave me and my colleague a short tour of the village. These are the head of the local library Tatyana Ivanovna Runova, the head of the Chamerevsky rural house of culture Tatyana Nikolaevna Andronova and an employee of the local museum of crafts and life Olga Zaharias. It is felt that they not only root for their land with all their hearts, but are also ready to make efforts to make it better.

So, for example, there are three choirs in the village, two of which have the status of folk choirs. The local club previously participated in the competition for the best rural house of culture and won first place. The victory brought 100 thousand rubles, for which modern equipment was purchased. In general, local residents dream of an extension to the club.

In fact, our life changed a lot for the better about eight years ago, when we installed gas. This immediately gives a serious impetus: people begin to build up, begin to develop. Eventually, they start smiling more. Gas in the village gives a completely different quality of life, says Tatiana Runova. - And today we have several shops here, a FAP, a post office, a patriotic sports club named after Alexander Nevsky. work kindergarten and the school - there are excellent teachers!

With the same success and enthusiasm, Tatyana Ivanovna talks about famous people who were born or have been in Chamerevo. According to the woman, the family of Alexander Griboyedov lived in these parts - the writer in those years was very small. The writer and journalist Viktor Poltoratsky has been here. Tsar Ivan the Terrible passed through these lands with a campaign. At the same time, the sovereign sought, as they say, to instill Orthodoxy in the masses, and therefore in many settlements his army erected “ordinary” churches. As I understand it, ordinary means set in one day.
- I can safely say that it was here that Russia began, - proudly notes Tatyana Runova. - Our wonderful land, like a magnet, attracts wonderful people! And why - can you guess ...

The current temple is another "system-forming link" of Chamerev.

However, he has a very difficult fate. In 1785 the church was consecrated in the name of the Transfiguration of the Lord. Soviet authorities treated the temple without reverence. According to local residents, the abbot was obliged to pay an exorbitant tax. Like, if you collect money from people, it's okay. Only the people themselves were starving. The priest refused - and ended up in one of the camps in the north of the country. And then the temple fell into disrepair for years.
Only in the 90s, activists began to restore the church - they collected both the signatures of residents and funds. The business was strained - after all, a lot of money was needed.
But gradually the dilapidated building was transformed. This is a great merit of the current rector of the temple, Father Victor. He's been here since 2006.
- When I ended up in Chamerevo, there were essentially bare walls. We restored the temple gradually, - says the priest. - But, what is much more important, the parish had to be restored. The fact is that out of more than seven hundred inhabitants, 10-15 people went to church. Now we have about 70 people. I still think that first of all it is necessary to deal with souls. Walls are second.

There is a holy spring of Alexander Nevsky in Chamerevo. It is located in a place of stunning beauty - breathtaking.

Inside the building, I saw a font and here is an announcement.

By the way, the interlocutors invited me to come to visit at Epiphany and, most importantly, at Christmas. It is celebrated here from the heart.

And here are some of the expositions of the local museum. In several rooms - a little bit of everything. Interesting to see.

A few more observations. The village is neat, without spontaneous garbage dumps and tearing on the roadsides. Enough flower beds with flowers that survived until late autumn.

The houses are cute too. I also saw palaces - the mansions of Moscow summer residents.

You cannot share all your impressions at once, so this is not the last post about Chamerev. In general, the village left a very favorable impression. This village is one of those that does not die, but develops. It remains to wish good luck!
