Elite troops of Russia: names, list and rating. How to get into the elite troops of Russia? Service in the Russian army becomes prestigious! Is it prestigious to serve

In the midst of the autumn call to the Russian Armed Forces. The gradual military reform of recent years has changed the army. The attitude towards it is also changing among those who have served and those who have yet to do so. Our correspondent talked about all this with the head of the department of the joint military commissariat of the city of Moscow for the Preobrazhensky district, Andrey Gennadievich Yasnikov.

What are the features of this call?

I can highlight three main points:

First. Every conscript who leaves for the armed forces receives electronic card conscript. This is a kind of personal matter, that is, a database where information about him is entered: anthropometric indicators (height, weight, blood type, shoe size), social status (where he was called from, education, skills, etc.). This hag will be filled as you go through the service. Information about the specialty received in the army, participation in exercises, and incentives will be entered into it. Upon transfer to the reserve, these data will be entered into a single electronic database military registration and will be used in the future when recruiting for military training. This facilitates the work of the military commissariats and puts it on a modern footing.

Secondly, all conscripts who are sent to the troops from the city recruiting center will be provided with personal hygiene products. It will be a special travel bag with the appropriate accessories: soap, toothbrush and paste, shaving kit, towel, mirror, needles and threads. This is a continuation of those measures that began to be introduced last year: the introduction of shower cabins in military units, a new set of uniforms, uniforms and equipment for military personnel. As a rule, military personnel receive the basic kit already in the unit, but the hygiene kit will be received immediately on the first day. Previously, conscripts bought these supplies at their own expense, but now the state takes full responsibility for providing its soldiers with everything necessary during their service.

Well, the third, effective January 1, 2014 the federal law dated July 2, 2013 No. 170-FZ “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts Russian Federation in terms of implementing measures to increase the prestige and attractiveness of conscripted military service.” Now citizens who have not passed military service, without legal grounds, after the conclusion of the draft board on recognizing them as such, they will receive a certificate with the corresponding entry, and not a military ID, as before, they will also not be able to continue to participate in competitions for substitution vacancies upon admission to the state or municipal service, to law enforcement agencies at enterprises where there is a share of the state as a founder. The measure is effective and, in my opinion, correct. Also from this year, a new Regulation on the military medical examination, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 4, 2013 No. 565, is in force. military service» with crediting to the reserve. For example, flat feet of the 2nd degree, arthrosis of the 2nd degree, and some others. Now those who have such conditions will be classified as "fit with minor restrictions" and will be subject to conscription. Such conscripts will serve in military units where there is no significant physical exertion and in accordance with the specialty that they received in college or institute. Today, the army is in demand for those who know related military specialties, are good at computers, and other skills that are not associated with increased physical activity. They will also find a use and they will be able to fulfill their military duty to the Motherland with honor.

What types of troops and places of service are sent today by the Preobrazhensky military registration and enlistment office?

A few years ago, the Moscow and Leningrad military districts were merged into one - the Western. We send the guys to the units stationed on its territory. The types of troops, as I said, depend on their physical development, health, education, and, in particular, desire. At the draft board, the conscript is always asked the question: in which troops does he want to serve. Very often, many of those who have good health, express a desire to send them to the corresponding types of troops: landing, marines, to the fleet. Those who love technology and have a driver's license can be sent into the armed forces by a driver. Many young men practically want to use a year of service in the army. We help them in this. For example, we send them to study at the DOSAAF driving school in Russia. Having completed the training course and received a driver's license (it's free for a conscript), a young man really gets practical driving skills, which will undoubtedly be useful to him in a "civilian". Revealing these skills and directing the recruit to where he can best improve as a person, learn what will be useful to him in the future - this is the main principle of our work today.

Are conscripts changing their attitude towards military service?

IN last years there is a steady trend when guys who study at universities and have a delay during their studies take academic leave and go to serve. It is known that after serving only a year in the armed forces, they receive a number of benefits and benefits. They can enroll or transfer to any university, and those who studied at a paid department can continue their studies at a state-funded one, which is very important for many families. There are certain privileges and when applying for a job. Today, for many it is important not just to serve, but to serve in such a way that it is beneficial, and the current Russian army, in my opinion, contributes to this as much as possible and really is a “social lift” for many guys.

What do conscripts say when they return home?

Almost everyone who has recently returned, having gone through difficulties and matured, speaks very well of the army. And the changes that have taken place contribute to this. Judge for yourself: now they serve only a year, while before two or three. The soldiers have a quiet hour after lunch, the system and quality of food has improved significantly. Today it is based on outsourcing. That is, civilian firms are engaged in food. Soldiers have a choice of several dishes. The diet itself is significantly expanded in terms of the degree of usefulness of products and taste. Some types of dishes that were not popular, such as barley porridge, are excluded from it. Improved and expanded set of uniforms and equipment, introduced new form, taking into account all the features and needs during the service.

It is very important for us that, after serving in the army, the guys return home and share positive impressions with their friends and acquaintances. So that those who have not yet served see with their own eyes how useful service in the army is, so that they are not afraid, but consciously want to go to serve, so that they return home to their families matured and matured, skillful and strong, capable of work and responsibility for themselves, their loved ones and, ultimately, for their country.

To “cure” the modern Russian army, which was pretty ruined and beaten at the end of the last century, and to recruit people who shoot from machine guns not under duress, but voluntarily and skillfully, only the recently introduced contract service is capable of.

It is the contract servicemen, who are already adults and have passed the urgent service, who are called upon to return the former glory, attractiveness and prestige to the country's armed forces. First of all, this concerns the airborne and border troops, intelligence, naval and special forces. Service in them is considered a kind of familiarization with the military elite, so not everyone is taken there.

As the head of the defense department, Sergei Shoigu, stated, the army should be staffed either entirely from contract soldiers or from conscripts called up for five years.

However, when choosing troops, the conscript needs to focus not only on ostentatious beauty and rating. In the end, each genus or species has its own obvious advantages and disguised ones. And if, for example, you played basketball or volleyball and are very tall, then, no matter how you ask, they will not send you to or to you. Exclusively because of growth.

Army at home

Faced with the choice of “Where to go to serve?”, It’s easier not to wait for a happy occasion, but to use the skills learned at home. For example, you love technology and have the appropriate rights. So, you may well ask for the same tankers, in the automobile troops or in the fleet. For someone who is thoroughly versed in radio and computers, there will certainly be a suitable vacancy in the signal troops. Young people who have successfully mastered the parachute in the flying club and engaged in martial arts, the very place in the Airborne Forces. Those who have learned how to conquer climbing walls or even rocks will be happy in the mountain rifle units of the ground forces. Having decided after being transferred to the reserve to become a pilot civil aviation, it is better to serve, of course, in the Air Force.

By the way, sometimes military registration and enlistment offices meet the desire of conscripts and leave them near the house. This is done more often for family reasons, for example, in case of illness of the parents or the presence of their own family with a child. But in this case, the young soldier must be prepared to be sent far from the troops he expected to get into. For example, if a guy living in Yekaterinburg was preparing to become a paratrooper or a sailor, he definitely won’t succeed. After all, the landing force closest to the land capital of the Urals educational part located in the Omsk region. And in Yekaterinburg, he can only stay as a military chemist, railway worker or signalman.

Control General Staff, in charge of organizing the draft, suggested that the secretary of defense return to the ex-territorial system and send recruits away from their region.

Remember Dynamo

Speaking about the conscription and assessment of troops, it is worth immediately separating the modern army from the one that until 1992 was called "Soviet". Even the now all-powerful NATO bloc was afraid of her, and she never knew about the shortage of soldiers. Everyone was not called there, including the sick and former criminals. On the contrary, it was carefully selected and well prepared for replenishment through the system of sports schools of the Dynamo society and DOSAAF clubs.

And the answer to the amateurish question “Where is the service better?” many recruits of the 70s and 80s gave on their own and long before receiving the summons. Therefore, 18-year-old Soviet boys, especially those who grew up in the villages and had already managed to pump up their muscles in physical work, went to the troops confident and prepared. A very serious incentive for the desire to serve was the opportunity to receive benefits when entering good university. For example, one of three legal institutions countries where the path was closed to a simple graduate of a secondary Soviet school. Now, unfortunately, such benefits have almost disappeared.

The service is already coming to an end, and the blog has existed for more than six months. During this time, in the comments under the posts on the site, in the discussions in the Vkontakte blog group and just in the messages in PM, I read a lot of questions. Here I have collected the most common of them. A summary of the most frequently asked questions about the army and army life right in front of you.

How many are in the military now?

I did not expect that this question would become perhaps the most frequently asked among all those who addressed me. Surprisingly, not all people are still used to the fact that after the reform of 2008 military service is 1 year, not two, as before.

By the way, there is interesting feature leap years. Once every 4 years, the service life is not 365 days, but 366. I became one of those "lucky ones" who have to experience this feature in "their own skin."

What are the terms of conscription into the army?

Let's start with the fact that conscription into the army is carried out 2 times a year. One begins in the spring, which is why it is called "spring", and the other - in the fall, the so-called autumn call to Army.

Every year, the terms of both one and the other appeals are established by decree of the President of the Russian Federation. In 2016, the dates remained unchanged: the spring conscription runs from April 1 to July 15, and the autumn one - from October 1 to December 31.

It is easy to guess that the spring conscription is now actively underway, so I advise each of you, dear readers, to familiarize yourself with its features in my separate article.

Why did I join the army?

Of course, each of the guys of draft age at some point faces a choice: to go or hang? I made my choice, which I have never regretted.

Why did you go? I see no reason to duplicate the content of the article. After all, everything is clearly and clearly painted. So let's move on.

Which army is better to serve in?

To absolutely everyone who asked me this or a similar question, I answered the following: there are no good/bad troops, there are good/bad military units.

Before answering the question of the military commissar: “Son, what troops do you want to serve in?” be sure to read my article. There you will find the answer to this question for yourself, first of all. This article can be your lifesaver, as it has already been for many guys.

They take me to the army: what should I do?

Oh, how often I have been asked this question! Some are clearly in a panic, while others are just with common sense.

One way or another, I was forced to write a separate article in order to pack all my six months (at that time) experience of service and preparation for it.

What to take with you to the army?

This question, often, arose exactly after the previous one. And I think it's absolutely logical! But here's a surprise for you, dear readers.

The answer to this question is in the article, the link to which I gave above: 10 tips for a conscript from a soldier. At the end of the article there is a bonus, which is precisely the answer to the question posed.

Here is just an excerpt from that article in the form of a few paragraphs:

To add an understanding of what you definitely need to take with you, the article will help. It contains a list of those things that the state gives to each conscript for free. Not everything gives out, of course ... He borrows some things! ;-)

Is a phone allowed in the army and which phone is better to take with you?

I will answer both at once, since they met approximately the same number of times.

  1. Yes, allowed, but most often - only on weekends in their free time, which in the first weeks of service may not be at all.
  2. My advice: take slippers (the simplest, push-button phone). And when you start serving and sniff out all the nuances and features of your military unit, you will understand whether you need a smartphone.

Is it worth going to study at the military department?

My opinion has long been formed and is as follows. If you want to serve under a contract and immediately, from the very first days, receive a good, stable salary, go first to study at the military department. What's the catch? Yes, in that after studying for only 2.5 years with a one-day visit to the department PER WEEK You will receive a military ID and the rank of lieutenant in the reserve.

And the rank of lieutenant in the army is far from the very first in the career ladder of a soldier. And this article will help me prove it. Read it now and pay attention to how many “steps” you can jump at once in the ladder of the ranks of the Russian army.

In short, I will give a simple and 100% efficient and universal algorithm of actions to all, all, all the guys who are now reading this article and have not yet served.

If you want to understand whether you need to connect your life with the army and army life, go to serve a term right after school. In a year you can get the rank of sergeant, and most importantly, answer the question for yourself: do you want to devote your whole life (or at least part of it) to military affairs?

If so, then after the deadline, do not rush to sign a contract, but go to study at a university with a military department. The idea is that studying at the university will take you 4 years, and classes for military department- 1 day a week for 2.5 years.

Higher military education educational institution for an officer (the same lieutenant) takes 5 years. That is, from studying at the military department you have 2 pluses: this is both a saved year and an additional higher education, in whose specialty you can go to study if you eventually become disillusioned with the army.

Summarize. I advise you to go to study at the military department for those who want to either avoid the deadline, or try themselves in military affairs, and even immediately as a commander.

There is nothing for the rest to do. It's my opinion. If you have a different one - I'm waiting in the comments!

P.S. Friends! This is a new article format for me as it is as interactive as possible. What is its interactivity? - It's simple. Each of you can influence its content. To do this, you just need leave your comment with a question, one way or another related to the army and army life.

If your question turns out to be relevant for other readers, the answer to it will definitely appear in this article, and you will be personally notified about it.

Is military service prestigious?

To serve or not to serve? IN Soviet years this question did not arise at all, since everyone knew that a man should serve in the army. But since the nineties of the last century, the attitude towards the army in society has been ambiguous, and sometimes openly negative. But the army did not stall on the spot, but evolved along with the changing society. So what do our countrymen think about military service today?

Vladimir Bibik, reserve captain:

I was in aviation. I had to serve in Mongolia, Transbaikalia, finished in Ivanovo. It is necessary and prestigious to serve, especially, it seems to me, now that conditions in the army have improved. However, it has always been an honor to defend the Motherland. My son also went through the army. When his time came, we did not even think: if you must, serve. He was satisfied with his service... I don't have any grandchildren yet. But when they are and grow up, I'm sure they will honestly give back their man's duty to the Motherland.

Artem Shlykov, head of the Komsomol branch of the Young Guard:

Of course, serving in the army is prestigious. I served in the internal troops in Moscow. I remember this time with a warm feeling: I then acquired many qualities that I lacked before. I matured, matured, my outlook on life became more conscious. He rose to the rank of sergeant. And after the service I clearly knew what I wanted, how I would live on. My younger brother is growing up, and although I'm worried - how will he be there, in the army? I still want him to serve. Yes, and there are many good changes now - from friends and acquaintances I hear more and more positive reviews about the army.

Dmitry Kabanov, head of department of a commercial firm:

No, the service has ceased to be prestigious. My attitude to the call is negative. I think that the army should be professional. First, to save budget funds. Secondly, following the example of developed countries: many of them have long abandoned compulsory service. And thirdly, military service is simply dangerous: some guys return from it disabled. In my opinion, the way and structure of the army require serious changes.

Pavel Klopov, manager:

I honestly admit that I was not in the army for certain reasons. But most of my acquaintances and friends served. These are normal guys, and they tell different things about the service: both good and not so good. Yes, the army is a lesson for life, but, probably, you should not brush everyone with the same brush. Everyone is different, everyone has their own circumstances, which would be good to take into account. Service, I think, should be voluntary. After all, many of my friends go to the draft board themselves and say: “I want to serve. That is my conviction." And hardly anyone will convince them of this.

Tatyana Borodkina, Chairman of the Ivanovo Regional Committee of Soldiers' Mothers:

It is gratifying that recently something has changed in the psychology of our children, and service in the army is once again becoming prestigious. For guys, this is a school of courage, and you definitely need to go through it in order to become a real man. There is no country without an army, and our children must defend it, the honor of those who died for their Motherland. They should be worthy of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Another thing is that in the army everything must be organized so that the fighters do not lose faith, do not break down, and return home safe and sound. I want our sons in the service to know that we are proud of them.

As you can see, almost all of our respondents consider military service necessary and honorable. There are doubters, but even they will probably not argue that the army has not taken into account the lessons of the last twenty years.
