It must be said right away that in the first book, not all of them are of good quality: on some pages, the drawings are noticeably blurry - as if the design of the book used small slides that had to be stretched. Perhaps it was so, given the solid size of the book (almost A4 27 * 20 cm). But if we compare this edition with other similar ones, then such flaws seem forgivable and insignificant.

In almost all Suteev's collections, the fairy tale "Rooster and Paints" is given in an abbreviated version. The book "100 Pictures" was no exception.

But in the edition "All Fairy Tales and Pictures" the full - expanded - version of this fairy tale is given. I bought this particular book for myself, although its size is noticeably smaller than the previous one. But it is thicker and contains more works. This book, for example, includes fairy tale"Magic Shop" - schoolchildren can read it, which means this book is "for growth."

Both of these books are far from new. They can still be found in stores, but gradually they are being replaced by other publications. The AST publishing house recently released a good series "All Suteev". It publishes not only Suteev's fairy tales, but also works by other authors, illustrations for which were made by this artist. Pay attention to this series. And for children 1.5-2 years old, I would recommend the book "Tales and Pictures" published in this series. Durable pages, quality printing, bright illustrations, great stories - a good purchase for any kid.
