The Great Power of the Poet's Word

Not everyone is given a pen in their hands to hold,

And who has it like mirrors,

That reflect light at different angles

Therefore, from time immemorial, our memory is immortal.

O. Borisova "Review on the poems of G. Deinichenko

"Our life"".

Tula region is a land of creative people. The names of V.A. Zhukovsky, L.N. Tolstoy, I.A. Bunin, I.S. Turgenev are known to everyone. Interesting, talented people live now. They continue glorious traditions past, contribute huge contribution in the history and culture of the Tula region. Before, it seemed to me that all great people live somewhere far away, in big cities... As it turned out, this is not at all the case...

Once, after repairing the apartment, we sorted out books. I saw a small collection of poems under the mysterious title "Constellation of the Lion" with a dedicatory inscription from the author to my grandmother.

Grandma, do you know him? With a real writer? I was surprised. And my grandmother said that she worked together with Gleb Nikolaevich Deinichenko, the author of poems, in the editorial office of the district newspaper "Svetly Put":

Gleb Nikolaevich was a person with whom it was pleasant to communicate.

Was? I asked.

Yes, unfortunately, Gleb Nikolaevich is no longer with us. He died in 2007. He was amazingly talented, humble, open man. He knew literature and art very well. And how he understood the history of the country! He had a hard life, but a cheerful, resilient character distinguished Gleb Nikolaevich from those around him. He was born a few years before the Great Patriotic War in the ancient city of Bukhara. There, in Central Asia, he lived and worked for many years: he graduated from the university, was a journalist, wrote reports, articles for newspapers, radio, participated in the creation documentaries. And in the evenings he wrote poetry. Love for poetry, according to Gleb Nikolaevich, appeared at school. There were many poems, but they were written for themselves, for friends. Gleb Nikolaevich did not consider himself a talented poet, so he did not publish anywhere. It so happened that the first collection of poems - just this book "The Constellation of the Lion" - was released only in 2005, when Deinichenko lived in Suvorov.

And why is this a famous person come here? I asked.

You and I live in a peaceful land. In Tajikistan, in the 90s, Russians began to be oppressed. In 1993, Gleb Nikolaevich and his family moved to the village of Khanino, "a sweet Russian land, chamomile, birch." His wife's relatives lived here. Beautiful nature, good people, rich history became a source of inspiration for the poet. Suvorov land revealed the talent of G. Deinichenko. Here, after the "Constellation of the Lion", the second collection of poems "Kolovert" is published. But this book was the last lifetime edition.

Four hundred poems - this is the result of the works of an amazing poet. His work is simple and understandable, love for people, the generous Suvorov land lives in it:

Ripe and falling apples

In the autumn green grass.

Calls magical smells

The thick buzz of a bee.

Rich, sweet juices

Drain in a slow stream.

Deadlines have arrived

Sharing wealth with the earth.

And here is how the poet wrote about creative inspiration, compared his work with the work of a turner:

I have a cutter ready:

I grind the word

On an invisible machine

With an eternal pen in hand.

My grandmother's story made a deep impression on me. After this conversation, I read many poems by Gleb Nikolaevich, I learned some of them by heart. In addition, at a literature lesson, I learned that Gleb Deinichenko's poems were set to music, they are performed by our local singers, favorites of my countrymen: A. Ermakov, V. Korchago, K. Mustafaev.

In 2017, it will be 10 years since the death of G.N. Deinichenko. His work is still loved by Suvorovites. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the poet's birth, the gymnasium hosted a presentation of another book - "The Wheel of Fate". This means that the memory of Gleb Nikolaevich is alive, and his poems continue to live.
