Let me introduce myself. I'm_______, I am Russian. My mother language is Russian which is considered to be one of the richest but the most difficult languages ​​in the world. Russian language has a large vocabulary. Moreover, there are many synonyms that greatly enrich the language. So we can totally and clearly express your personal feelings and thoughts. I'm sure, by learning Russian literature, history and language culture, I'm creating my First Soul.

While learning a foreign language, I realized that it’s a very complicated but fascinating and exciting process. For example, let's take English. It is a bit easier on its structure than Russian, but English is beautiful and laconic as well. You would never understand it if you don't dive deep into the language's knowledge. Sure, you can tell that our life consists of only a job and the “net” of friends where anybody hardly speaks English. It seems - you don't need this knowledge. But you're mistaken. Just begin learning the history of England and its language then you will defiantly feel how your Second Soul is creating!

In my opinion, the Second Soul appears only when you study the culture and plunge headlong in the traditions of the English-speaking country. Let's assume that the second soul appears only if you start thinking in this foreign language feeling both formal and informal atmosphere. Only in this way you "re getting closer to the Native speakers possessing skills and deep understanding of the traditions, details and standards of the foreign culture. It goes without saying, language environment and constant communication with native speakers are necessary conditions for the appearance of a personal second soul.
I'm totally sure that n
owadays the knowledge of a foreign language is increasingly important ‘cause it helps people in the world get a better understanding. So, in my opinion, it's extremely necessary! This means that with the knowledge of every new language and every new culture we discover another soul which enriches personal identity over and over again. As for me, I would also like to develop myself during the adult life and find the same multifaceted Soulmates to come together & join our souls. Why not?

This Regulation approves the procedure for organizing the Competition oratory“I can speak beautifully” (hereinafter referred to as the Competition), its organizational, methodological support, the procedure for participation in the Contest and the determination of winners.

2. Goals and objectives of the Competition

2.1.main goal The competition is intellectual, creative and aesthetic development learners through the acquisition of skills public speaking.

2.2.The main objectives of the Competition:

  • development of students' interest in oratory;
  • increasing the motivation of students to study foreign languages;
  • formation of a new level of language competence;
  • studying the basics of oratory and rhetoric and mastering the technology of preparing and delivering public speeches using verbal and non-verbal means of communication;
  • improving the speech skills of public speaking in a foreign language on a given topic;
  • formation of meta-subject skills and abilities;
  • development of the ability to think creatively, find non-standard solutions;
  • creating conditions for self-realization of students, increasing their social and creative activity;
  • identification of creatively gifted students.

3. Organization of the Competition

3.1. The organizers of the Competition are:

  • GBOU City methodical center Department of Education of the city of Moscow (hereinafter - GBOU GMTs DOGM);
  • GBOU "School with in-depth study of foreign languages ​​No. 1242".

3.2. The overall management of the Competition is carried out by the Organizing Committee, which includes representatives of the City Methodological Center of the Department of Education of the City of Moscow and the State Budgetary Educational Institution "School with in-depth study of foreign languages ​​No. 1242".

3.3. The Organizing Committee develops the Regulations of the Competition, determines the content, procedure, place and timing, criteria for evaluating the performances of students. To evaluate the work of the participants of the Competition and determine the winners and prize-winners, the Organizing Committee forms the composition of the jury of the Competition.

3.4. The jury sums up the results, awards the winners and prize-winners.

3.5. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to establish additional nominations and awards.

3.6. The competition is held April 9, 2016 in GBOU "School with in-depth study of foreign languages ​​No. 1242", located at the address: Vostryakovsky proezd, 3a.

3.5. Information about the results of the Competition is posted on the website of the GBOU HMC DOgM.

3.6. Access to impersonal information about the results of the Contest is provided to an unlimited number of persons.

4. Procedure for holding the Contest and requirements for participants

4.1. Students of 8-11th grades of secondary schools can take part in the Competition. educational institutions Moscow cities studying foreign language(English, Spanish, German, French) as the first and timely applied for participation (one person from the parallel, no more than four people from the educational institution).

4.2. Participants of the competition are invited to submit an oral presentation in the form of a public oratory in a foreign language (English, Spanish, German, French) on one of the proposed topics:

  • "The key to all science is the question mark." (Honore de Balzac);
  • "To live for others is to live for oneself." (Pyotr Yakovlevich Chaadaev);
  • “Teachers only open doors, you go on yourself.” (Chinese proverb).

4.3. The duration of the message is no more than three minutes. After the presentation, 1-2 minutes are allotted for answering questions. Questions can be asked by members of the jury, as well as by spectators or other participants in the competition.

4.4. Messages are presented only in the form of individual speeches. The use of computer presentations and group participation is not allowed.

4.5. To participate in the Competition, the teacher responsible for the preparation of the contestant must:

  • pass the electronic registration on time from February 15 to March 14;
  • fill out the application (Appendix 1) and send it to the email address: until March 20, 2016. In the subject of the letter, indicate: Competition of oratory skills "I can speak beautifully."
  • submit to writing specific, informed and conscious consent to the provision and processing of their personal data.

5. Summing up the Competition

5.1. The winners and prize-winners of the competition are determined by the sum of points scored (Appendix 2).

5.2. According to the results of the Competition, the winners and prize-winners are awarded with diplomas I, II, III degree, diplomas GBOU GMTs DOGM.

5.3. The teaching staff who prepared the winners of the Competition from among the students receive Thank You Letter GBOU GMTs DOGM.

The competition jury will include the organizing committee, teachers and parents. Each parent who will be present will be able to evaluate their child and other contestants. An electronic vote is being held. Evaluation will take place on a ten-point system.

Competitive evaluation

The jury of the competition will evaluate:

2. Expressiveness of reading and artistry
3. Creating an image: the use of a costume, props, musical accompaniment

The evaluation of the jury is not affected by the duration of the poem or situations when the child has forgotten the text due to excitement.

The competition takes place at the address: Moscow, st. Vostochnaya, d. 4, building. 1 . The best speakers from all the contestants will be invited as LEADERS to participate in the unique Children's musical performance "Children's TV channel "Az-bu-ka", which will take place on May 24.
Unique, because during the entire performance (about 40 minutes) only children from 1 year old will perform on stage and there will be no adults, the children will do everything themselves.

How to prepare your child for successful participation in the competition

1. Take the poem, the meaning and words of which are clear to the child, the poem that he likes. Children love poems with dialogue or a first-person story.

2. Take a short poem from one to four quatrains. Better short, BUT bright. The length of the poem is not evaluated and does not give additional points to the contestant.

3. Performances look advantageous, where you can convey the character of the hero, there are emotions.

4. Learn the poem in advance so that the contestant has a good command of the text and does not forget it even at the moment of excitement. The duration of the preparation for the experience takes about three weeks.

The first week we learn the text and tell with expression.

The second week we talk with a microphone (use a model: a comb, a tablespoon). You can add musical accompaniment (pick up a melody without words and turn it on on a tape recorder).

The third week we add rehearsals in a stage costume. You can invite your child to tell a poem in front of a mirror, this is what real artists do.
