— The "Electronic (Intellectual) University" system is designed to automate the management educational process, research activities, financial and economic processes to ensure the life of the university, and most importantly - through the openness of the system for applicants, students and teachers - ensures their full integration into the life of the university. The system allows you to use all the resources of the university at any time and practically anywhere where there is an Internet access network. The result of our work will be the creation of an integrated environment that provides the student and teacher throughout the entire study and stay on campus with modern technological solutions and facilities at the level of the world's leading universities.
- I wonder how the system of "Electronic University" works?
— At the heart of the whole system is a single integrated bus with a common database. A contactless chip integrated with bank card- this is the so-called campus card, which every student and employee of the university has. The campus card provides access to all campus infrastructure facilities - from a pass to the university and making an appointment with a doctor at a medical center to printing a dissertation on a powerful printer.
The peculiarity of the system being created is that it covers absolutely all aspects of life at the university. All educational resources and "campus" services of the university are fully accessible to any student and employee who has connected to the Internet portal of the "Electronic University". Figuratively, the system allows teachers and students, "at their fingertips" to have all the information about the situation in the university.
- At what stage is the implementation of the plan now? What has already been done by the team of the Electronic University project?
- The introduction of the "Electronic University" began in 2011 with the transition to electronic document management. Today, advanced universities will not be surprised by this, but in those four universities that became part of FEFU, there was no electronic document management. Already last year in FEFU, the creation, approval, signing, control over the execution of all documents took place in in electronic format. Also, a system for ordering certificates, for example, on income, through the internal portal of the campus, has already been prepared for launch. You only need to go to the accounting department to pick up the finished document.
The Anti-plagiarism module of the integrated platform was launched e-learning Blackboard - we plan to use it to collect and check written work for plagiarism. The registration of the contingent of students has also been launched, work is underway to enter curricula for the subsequent launch of the calculation module study load. - Are you talking about a "personal account"? Tell us in more detail what functions this system has that are useful for teachers and students of the university?
- "Personal account" is multifunctional. First of all, it is a channel for obtaining official information. Through "personal accounts" you can communicate information that is traditionally posted on bulletin boards: students - about the timing of the session, changes in the schedule; teachers about general meetings and grant opportunities. It would seem that all this can be placed on a university-wide site, but in this case, each category of users receives information that is intended specifically for it.
In addition, the “personal account” is also a new format of communication, analogous to social network. Any of the users here can organize communities by inviting new members there. By the way, through the "personal account" you can also go to the electronic library catalog in order to pick up literature both in a regular university library and in a digital one (FEFU has a large collection of electronic full-text publications). In the latter case e-book you can download it right there, but for the paper one you still have to go to the library.
Currently, programs are being loaded into the “personal accounts” of students training courses, lists of references with annotations, full-text electronic teaching aids. Teachers place in their "personal accounts" scientific publications- this is also necessary for the ranking.

Moreover, the video archive of all lectures is stored in the data center of the university, which means that the student will be able to independently listen to the course of lectures of any teacher of his choice. It is interesting that the new campus reading room will also make it possible to abandon paper “requirements”: it will be enough to find the right book and reserve it - the next day the book will be waiting for the customer at the lending counter.
