Events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution were held in the rural libraries of the Vurnarsky district. The purpose of the events is to instill a sense of patriotism and pride in their Motherland and their people, respect for its great achievements and worthy pages of the past. The October Revolution and the era of the USSR that followed it is our history. Whatever conflicting opinions about the revolution were voiced in Lately we must know and respect our history.

For students, the librarian tried to reveal in detail and in an accessible way the pages of the October Revolution, to form an idea about this event, its impact on society and world history. The performance was accompanied by an album - presentation "100 years of October". A review of the book exhibition "October Revolution: Pages of History" was carried out, where the children were able to get acquainted with books reflecting the historical events that took place in 1917.

Literary and poetic hour "Intoxication with freedom" was held in the Azimsirma village library.In the first part of the event, the teacher of history Viktor Ivanovich Romanov spoke. Hetold schoolchildrenabout why we must not forget this great historical event and what lessons we can learn from it a hundred years later. The second part of the event was devoted to the literary depiction of the revolution in the work of the three greatest poets of the 20th century - Mayakovsky, Blok and Yesenin.These poets had a different attitude to the revolution and they conveyed their attitude in poems.The presentation, poems of poets about the revolution mentally helped the children to plunge into the atmosphere of the largest political event in the history of Russia in the 20th century and learn a lot of useful information for themselves.

A conversation with a presentation on the topic “October Revolution of 1917. How was it?” took place in the Tuzisyarmuz rural library. Librarian Zinaida Vasilievna spoke about the most important historical events of that time: about the causes of the revolution and that it remains a memorable milestone in the fate of our country, which the younger generation needs to know about. During the event, library readers got acquainted with the exhibition "Through the pages of the October Revolution", which presented books, paintings by artists, as well as drawings of children - eyewitnesses of the events.

There was no bread in Petrograd, - transport was very disordered due to unusual snows, frosts and, of course, because of the tension of the war ... There were street riots ... Host 2: Petrograd was booming. 18th of Febuary A strike began at the Putilov factory, the workers demanded higher wages. The administration refused, more than 30 thousand workers were fired. This became the occasion for mass demonstrations.

Host 2: 25 February economic strikes developed into a general political strike, held under the slogans "Down with tsarism!", "Down with war!". More than 300 thousand people took part in it.

Presenter 1: Emperor Nicholas II from Headquarters in Mogilev sent a telegram: “I command you to stop the unrest in the capital tomorrow!”.

Host 2: February 27 . The rebels seized the Arsenal, railway stations, the most important government institutions, and released political and criminal prisoners from prisons. They took over the Winter Palace.

Presenter 1: 28th of February . The tsarist ministers are arrested. The Petrograd Soviet of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies and the Provisional Committee of the State Duma were formed - new bodies of power in a revolutionary country.

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov - Lenin, leader of the Bolshevik Party.

Born April 22, 1870 in Simbirsk in the family of the director of public schools. His brother Alexander Ulyanov was executed for participating in the assassination attempt on Emperor AlexanderIII. He graduated from the gymnasium with a gold medal, went to study at Kazan University, but was expelled from the university for participating in revolutionary activity. Despite this, through Vladimir Ulyanov he completed his studies, having passed the exams externally, received a law degree. Together with Georgy Plekhanov, he became the founder of the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party, and then headed its Bolshevik wing. At the beginning of 1917 he was in exile in Switzerland, because. party activity of the Bolshevik Party in Russia was banned due to their defeatist attitude towards Russia's participation in the First World War. The overthrow of the monarchy and a political amnesty allowed Lenin and his colleague to return to Russia.

Presenter 1: The people became more and more dissatisfied with the Provisional Government. In Petrograd, a wave of discontent led in July 1917 to mass protests and demonstrations under the slogans "All power to the Soviets!", "Down with the provisional government!"

Host 2: The troops of the Petrograd garrison were thrown against the demonstrators. Several hundred people were wounded and killed. The Bolsheviks were forced to go underground.

Is life better in the countryside? No! Men - to the front, horses - to the front, prepare forage, they will take it away, tortured by the surplus appraisal. Who should plow now? Grandma with kids? And harness the old men instead of horses? How many crippled men returned from the war? How can they live?

What kind of power do we have such that it is ready to strangle its own people with hunger?

The authorities only promise, but what's the point. They gave freedom to everyone, they opened prisons, it’s scary to go out into the street. Either thieves or looters. There are rallies everywhere, and showdowns, in words everyone knows how to live, but what did they give people? Poverty, hunger, unemployment and a war that has no end ....

What is this power to us? He does not give land, he wages war. Down with such power!!!

At the front, the situation is dire. A lot of people die not only in battles. There is demoralization and the collapse of the army. There are times when soldiers rebel, do not obey commanders, and even shoot at their officers. Your own commanders began to choose!

And now such a right has been given to us by Decree No. 1 of the Petrograd Soviet of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies! Now in our army everyone is equal - both an officer and a private, so let them learn to respect us ...

Aha!!! And we have weapons, and we can deploy them wherever we want. As long as we are at the front, we will kill German workers and peasants like us. Stop killing each other. For the sake of them and our rich people become even richer. And in general, it’s enough to fight, we need to return home, who will take care of our wives with children, except for us?

Alexander Fyodorovich Kerensky . Born in Simbirsk in 1881. His father was the director of the gymnasium where Lenin studied. The Ulyanov and Kerensky families were closely related. Alexander Kerensky graduated from the gymnasium with a gold medal, and then from St. Petersburg University, becoming a lawyer. He became famous primarily in political trials, where he often defended revolutionaries. In 1916 he became a deputy of the Fourth State Duma. After the overthrow of the king, he entered the first composition of the Provisional Government from the Socialist-Revolutionary Party, became the Minister of Justice. 1917 was both the rise and fall of his political career.
