June 22 - this date is deeply engraved in the memory of people, forever entered the history of our country. Memories of that harsh time still live in the memory of people. The front line during the war years passed not only along the battlefields, it continued in the shops and fields where bread was grown for the front, in every house where they waited, loved, did everything possible and impossible for the Victory. This front line passed through the destinies of people of all ages, and especially affected children's souls.

With the aim of educating citizenship and patriotism in children, adolescents and youth, preserving historical memory and transferring it to the younger generation, in the municipal libraries of the city of Yelets, on the Day of Memory and Sorrow, a action of memory "Scorched by the fire of war". The action was attended by children, teenagers, youth. The guests of the action (required) are the children of war. In total, about 500 library users took part in the action.

22nd of June in all libraries MBUK "CBS of the city of Yelets" held events that allow you to look at the war through the eyes of the children of war ( children of war are citizens Russian Federation and former Soviet Union, born between June 23, 1928 and September 3, 1945 inclusive). People who today are about 70-80 years old did not have a childhood as such, they practically did not go to school, they did not have food, toys, clothes, they went to work early, and devoted their whole lives to serving society.

Not sparing himself in the fire of war,
Sparing no effort in the name of the Motherland,
Children of the heroic country
They were real heroes!

The action "Scorched by the fire of war" in b branch library №1

The action "Scorched by the fire of war" (on the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow) was carried out by employees Library-branch No. 1 named after M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin in the reading room of the library with students of MBOU "Secondary School No. 8 in Yelets" (camp) and members of the "Together" club, library readers. Participated in the action 56 people.

The campaign began with a listening songs "Holy War" performed by the Red Banner Ensemble. Those present were told who are considered children of the war, they were given Bookmarks "Childhood scorched by war», and veterans attached Medal "Children of War"

Those present listened song "Children of War" performed by I. Krutoy. Then Ignatova I.A. she told that children in the war helped our underground fighters arrange escapes for prisoners of war, rescued the wounded, set fire to German warehouses with weapons and food. Interestingly, both girls and boys fought in the war. Children worked for days at factories instead of fathers and older brothers who had gone to the front. The boys collected gas masks, made smoke bombs, fuses for mines, fuses for hand grenades. Girls knitted warm clothes - socks, mittens, sewed pouches for tobacco

Very often in the war, along with adults, teenagers aged 13-15 fought. During the defense and liberation of Yelets from the Nazi invaders, dozens of young Yelets took part in the hostilities. was held with those present conversation "Young heroes of Yelets"(about Alyosha Oborotov, Seryozha Gudin, Vita Orlov, Anya Gaiterova, Vil Ognev, Semyon Kondarev, Klava Shatalov).
They told about their biography, exploits in the Great Patriotic War, spent survey: do they know the names of the young Yelchans represented; what do they know about them; are there streets in our city named after them and where are they located. Those present were little aware of these issues and learned a lot of new and interesting things.

Participants of the action were presented Karlina Claudia Vasilievna, Zhilyaev Stanislav Sergeevich who told about all the difficulties of post-war childhood. The students listened attentively, asked many questions and thanked for interesting stories. The children were especially attracted by a certificate and a medal for achievements in the field of space, shown by Karlina K.V.

At the end of the action Astakhova T.N. read poem "Barbarism"(Mussa Jalil), all those who died during the Great Patriotic War were honored a moment of silence.

A lesson in courage "And childhood and war were together ..." inbranch library №2

On the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow branch library №2 became a participant in the general library action "Scorched by the Fire of War". Within its framework, the reading room hosted lesson in courage“And childhood and war were together…” Children from summer camps of schools No. 15 and No. 17 came to the library for the event. T.N. Khrennikova, their counselors, parents, to mark this saddest date in the history of our country.

How did this one start? brutal war? About this to the young participants in the lesson of courage in the story, the presenter Nasibulina L.S. Leading Deryugina N.V. told about the insidious plans of the Nazis, the heroism of the Soviet people. Each story was accompanied by a media presentation on the screen, thematic videos. There were poems and songs about children who survived that war.

It was interesting for the young residents of Yelts to find out how the inhabitants of the city of Yelets met the news of the beginning of the war. The day of June 22, 1941 remained in the memory of many Yelsk residents to the smallest detail. Natalya Vladimirovna read out the memoirs of an eyewitness - the head of the communications office Cherkasov.

And now no one can tell about the horrors of war better than an eyewitness. Nasibulina L.S. introduced the audience to the guest Shalygin Boris Mikhailovich. Boris Mikhailovich told the children about the beautiful city of his childhood - Leningrad, about what Leningraders had to endure when the city fell into the blockade ring. He shared his memories of the blockade childhood. Then he was very young, but he had to see and survive all the horrors of the war: bombing, shelling, hunger and the cold of the blockade. Hunger and cold... For those who were able to survive these 900 days of the blockade, when the daily ration of bread was 125 grams per person (at the same time, the “blockade” bread consisted of 2/3 of oil cake, tree buds and sawdust) - this was engraved in memory forever, even if he was very small.

The meeting was held in one breath. Young Yelsk residents listened with interest to the veteran, asked him questions, looked at the awards with interest, one of which is called “To a Resident besieged Leningrad". The guest of the event was touched by the attention of the children, thanked them for the flowers presented with gratitude. The participants of the meeting honored with a minute of silence those who remained forever in their time.

At the end of the courage lesson, the young patriots came to the conclusion that the feat of the children of the blockade teaches courage, stamina and boundless love for the Motherland.

The action "Scorched by the fire of war" in the branch library No. 4

As part of the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow in branch library №4 a meeting with veteran Uspensky Ivan Mitrofanovich took place. At the beginning of the event, the pre-war tango "I'm returning your portrait ..." sounded and it was told about how the peaceful life of Soviet citizens was interrupted on June 22 at 4 am 1941. The voice of the famous announcer Levitan announced the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.

Then Ivan Mitrofanovich spoke about how, as a 13-year-old teenager, he remembered the beginning of the war, about the dangers and hunger during the days of the occupation, how he took part in the tests atomic bomb, about military operations in the Korean Isthmus, in which he, being a scout, also took part.

At the end of the event, all those present wanted to take a picture with Ivan Mitrofanovich in order to leave a piece of memory of the war and historical events post-war period.

The event was attended by 18 people (teachers and students of grades 6-7 of gymnasium No. 97).

Patriotic hour "Childhood scorched by war" in the library-branch No. 5

As part of the action "Scorched by the fire of war" in branch library №5 held patriotic hour "Childhood scorched by war".

In the introductory conversation, Tsyba N.A. told that June 22 is one of the most sad days in the history of our country. On this day, the Great Patriotic War began, the bloodiest in the history of mankind. In it, our people lost more than 27 million people, but survived.

Further Troepolskaya A.A. she spoke about the children of the war, living witnesses of that terrible tragedy, the memory of which should not leave our hearts. And our duty to the dead is to pass on to future generations this memory and pride in Great Victory. This idea ran like a red thread throughout the event, during which the participants listened with great interest to the recollections of the library readers E.N. and P. M. Mochenovs, whose childhood fell on the difficult war years.

The action "Scorched by the fire of war" in the branch library No. 6

On June 22, the library-branch No. 6 took part in the action "Scorched by the fire of war", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War. Children from the summer camp of MBOU secondary school No. 24 (25 people, students of grades 5-6) were invited to the event.

Exhibitions were arranged in the library: “Day of Memory and Sorrow”, “War Looked into Children's Eyes”.

Usova N.M. she told the children about the beginning of the war, about the difficult time that had come for all of our people, including children, they had to grow up early: many became little soldiers on the fronts of the war, others worked in factories, helped in hospitals. About how steadfastly and fearlessly schoolchildren behaved in the frontline village, the children learned from the story of L. Kassil “At chalkboard”, which the presenter introduced them to. Silently and tensely, the children listened to the story of their peers.

Further, Nadezhda Vladimirovna read P. Sinyavsky's poem "Children of War" and introduced the children to V. Kataev's book "Son of the Regiment", reading the chapter on the interrogation of Vanya Solntsev by the Nazis. What happened to the hero next, Nadezhda Vladimirovna offered to find out by reading the book. Then she read out excerpts from V. Voskoboynikov's story "Artist Pakhomov and Vasily Vasilyevich." How it was necessary for a boy to work at a military factory in order to earn a respectful attitude towards himself in all seriousness - Vasily Vasilyevich! But to get to the machine, he had to stand on two boxes. Children appreciated the exploits of their peers during the Great Patriotic War. And then they met not with book, but with real eyewitnesses of those terrible times.

Guests, library readers were invited to the event. Their childhood fell on the harsh years of wartime. The story of Kuzyuticheva N.A. produced for young readers great impression. Nikolai Alekseevich said that when the war began, he was in the 5th grade. Then he was evacuated with his mother from Orel to the Tambov region, how cold and hungry they were, wandering around other people's apartments, how he even wanted to run to the front, but he had to help at home, look after his brother and sister. But, despite all the difficulties, he studied with great desire and became a professional military man. Nikolai Alekseevich told with humor, lively, and after the meeting, the children communicated with him with pleasure.

Zhemchuzhnikova Valentina Dmitrievna told the children about how she remembered the war: how the tanks went through their village in the Zadonsk region, how difficult life was at that time, they ate nettles, quinoa, gathered spikelets. We had to endure a lot, but we overcame everything. These hardships hardened their generation.

It was interesting to listen to the children and Salkova A.S. When the war began, she was 8 years old, she lived in the Izmalkovsky district. Anna Stepanovna remembers how our soldiers settled down to rest in the forest, not far from her village, how then a Nazi plane dropped a bomb, and the children ran to look at the crater formed, how she looked after our wounded pilot, who was in their house.

The guests' memories of their military childhood touched the hearts of the children sitting in the hall, and left no one indifferent.

At the end of the event, a candle of memory was lit and the children presented flowers and small gifts to the guests. And the veterans wished the children success in their studies and to be worthy citizens of their country.

And then the children with great desire and pleasure were photographed with honored guests. The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, charged the guys with positive emotions, did not leave them indifferent. Many children borrowed books about the war to read.

Has-requiem "Dedicated to the Children of War"in the branch library №7

As part of the action "Scorched by the fire of war" in branch library №7 held hour-requiem "Dedicated to the Children of War". Its participants were children of 6-7 years old from the summer camp of school No. 1.

The librarians told the children about the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, and the children shared their knowledge about this period of our history.

Then the invited guest - Voznesenskikh Svetlana Vasilievna - shared with the children her memories of her childhood, which took place in the difficult 40s of the last century. The children listened attentively to the story, and then asked Svetlana Vasilievna a lot of questions about that difficult time. much was incomprehensible to them because of their age.

Further, the librarians continued the story about the children of the wartime. The children learned about the exploits of the pioneer heroes Lenya Golikov, Zina Portnova, Marat Kazei, Valya Kotik and others; about the children of besieged Leningrad and about the diary of Tanya Savicheva, which became an important document in Nuremberg Trials. The hosts drew the children's attention to the fact that feats were accomplished not only in battles, the work of children and adolescents in factories, collective farms, and hospitals was also a feat that cost many lives.

The children of the war, as best they could, brought the Victory closer to the best of their, albeit small, albeit weak, forces. They drank a full cup of grief, because the beginning of the war coincided for them with the beginning of life.

During the event, audio recordings of songs by A. Aleksandrov "Holy War" and D. Tukhmanov "Victory Day", excerpts of poems about the war by R. Rozhdestvensky, S. Shchipachev, P. Sinyavsky were played.

By the Day of Memory and Sorrow (June 22), an exhibition is traditionally arranged in the branch library No. 7. This time it exhibition-call "We will not forget these dates!". The books presented at the exhibition will tell about the main events of the Great Patriotic War - Stalingrad, Battles of Kursk, the blockade of Leningrad, the battles for Moscow, Berlin and other battles that became turning points in the course of history.

A special place in the exhibition is occupied by works fiction written by front-line authors and contemporary writers. Reading these books, no one will be able to forget our important and tragic dates - 1941-1945.

The conversation "Children of War" was held in the branch library No. 8

Children and war - there is no more terrible convergence of opposite things. Once in the thick of it, the children endured what was sometimes beyond the power of even adults. Therefore, all of them can be called little heroes, "little heroes of a big war."

Conversation "Children of War" V branch library №8 was dedicated to the children of war. What did they have to do during World War II? How did they live, what helped them to survive, to remain human, to survive? The conversation began with a recording of Levitan's declaration of war and frames from the chronicle "The Beginning of the War."

On June 22, 1941, at 4 am, Nazi Germany treacherously attacked the Soviet Union. The Great Patriotic War began, which lasted 3 years, 10 months and another 17 days or 1418 days.…. It claimed the lives of almost 27 million people, including 4 million children.

It was terrible military childhood. A particularly heavy fate fell to the children of Leningrad . In September 1941, the Nazis will surround the city and want to completely destroy it. The blockade will last for almost 900 days, but the city will stand. In the surrounded city, 3 million people will remain, of which 450 thousand are children. Children of the war years dreamed of peace, sewed dolls, gave them names, warmed them with their childish warm heart, because they often replaced their relatives and friends. At the exit from Leningrad (today St. Petersburg) there is a monument - "The Flower of Life", in memory of the children of the besieged city, who suffered all the horror of the war. On the stone petals is inscribed: "May there always be sunshine."

In war, children grow up early. During the Great Patriotic War, thousands of boys and girls took up arms. It was considered a sacred duty for everyone. Therefore, no one was surprised that children fought on an equal footing with adults. They performed military tasks, went to intelligence, were signalmen, sappers, flew airplanes, collected weapons and ammunition under the noses of the Nazis and transferred them to partisan detachments. The librarians introduced the children to the biography of K. Kravchuk, M. Kazey, V. Khomenko, and others.

For courage and bravery shown during the war, more than 3.5 million boys and girls were awarded orders and medals of the Soviet Union. 7000 were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. During the conversation, the children were shown photographs of children in the war (at the front, in the rear, with partisans, in concentration camps and occupation), portraits of partisan heroes.

Nikolenko Mikhail Ivanovich came to visit the guys, he was born in 1937, when the war began, he was 4 years old. Mikhail Ivanovichne loves to remember the difficult years of the Great Patriotic War, but on the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, he shared his memories of that time with the children, told how he lived with his family during the war years.

“I was born in the Oryol province, p. Cherkasy. At the beginning of the war, my mother worked on the collective farm in the fields and took me with her. We learned that the war had begun, in the field, my father had gone to the front, my mother and I were left alone. Mother continued to work in the field, on the current, she carried heavy bags, worked from morning until late at night, I was with her. The Great Patriotic War was on. Everyone was hard and hungry. They worked 10-12 hours a day.

Bread was baked from chaff with a quinoa in half, and it did not taste, color, or smell like bread. Therefore, people who went through the war, even the crumbs carefully collected from the table .... "

His story moved everyone to tears. Despite the difficulties that befell Mikhail Ivanovich, after the war he was able to get an education, worked in a responsible job, and now he passes on his knowledge to his grandchildren. Mikhail Ivanovich told the audience a lot more about that time, everyone was interested, the children asked questions.

The event was held against the backdrop of the exhibition "And childhood and war were together."

The children of that time have long grown up and managed to become great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers. And they can tell their great-grandchildren about their military childhood. But, unfortunately, this is not possible in all families; in some families, eyewitnesses of those war years are no longer alive.
