The Department of State and Municipal Administration was established in 1932 as the Department of Economics and Organization of Urban Economy and is one of the oldest departments of the University. The department was founded in 1991. by decision of the Academic Council of the University in order to train highly qualified specialists in the field of psychology and municipal government. The founder of the department is Doctor of Philosophy Professor Ivanova Valentina Fedorovna.
