Introduction

One day a certain man, twenty years after graduating from university, came to the city where he spent his student years. He learned with joy that his closest friend of those years now teaches at this university. Of course, he did not miss the opportunity to visit his old friend right at the workplace. He was just preparing to take exams from students and laid out tickets on the table. His former classmate, who had arrived, took several tickets at random and, after reading them, exclaimed:

But the questions are the same!

To which his friend, a university teacher, responded with a smile:

The questions are the same. Other answers...

This well-known parable, in our opinion, well reflects the situation in many sciences and especially in psychology. Mental problems, difficulties in communication and mutual understanding, the sacramental question of the meaning of one's own existence, and the like have been worrying people for more than one millennium. The great minds of mankind searched and found answers to these questions, but each new generation still continues to suffer and search. Maybe because each person must find these answers for himself, having lived his life, having received his own, individual experience. In other words, only after going through the path of self-consciousness...

The psychological training groups discussed in this book create conditions for a person to receive personal experience and thereby facilitate the development of self-awareness. This is a modern answer to the eternal questions of the human soul. It is neither unique nor absolute. But he will help someone. In any case, people who have undergone good psychological training always become a little different. Wise, perhaps, because they knew themselves better.

Interest in psychological training in recent years not only does not fade away, but, on the contrary, captures people, even those who are far from psychology. Quite often you have to explain to people of various professions and ages what training is, what they do there. Almost always, even the most lengthy explanations seem miserable. To convey the experience of experiences, one must be Tolstoy or Dostoevsky. To understand what training is, you need to visit the training.

This book is written for those who are interested in psychological training - not only for students of psychological faculties (although, of course, primarily for them), but also for specialists who already lead training groups, for psychology teachers, educators, sociologists, social workers. In this work, the emphasis is primarily on psychological training aimed at developing self-awareness. It seems to us that high level self-awareness advocates essential condition personal development of a person.

The material presented in the book may well be used in the educational process of schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, colleges, pedagogical schools, universities, faculties and advanced training courses for educators, leaders and managers of various levels.

Anyone who wants to understand the theoretical foundations of psychological training and is not afraid to dive into the abyss of special terms, references, names, quotes, will find what he likes in the first part of the book. Those who are not attracted by theory may not be afraid: most of the book is written in a completely different language and in a completely different style. The description of the author's experience in the development and application of the training is presented in the second part of the manual. You will find a popular presentation of some methodological nuances of the "kitchen" of the training in the third part. Well, for those who are primarily interested in replenishing the baggage of means, techniques and methods practical work, we recommend that you carefully read the fourth part of the manual. It is here that psychological games and psychotechnics are placed and described in detail. Most of the games presented are either original developments or author's modifications of already known exercises.

I hope that the book brought to your attention will be necessary and useful for you.
