How was the day of cosmonautics in libraries. The amazing world of space in the branch library N7. Cosmonautics Day event

April 12, 1961 will forever remain in the memory of the older generation. Millions of people, young and old, did not hide their delight. This have not happened before! Man in Space! And not just anyone, but our Yuri Gagarin! Pride for the country filled the hearts of compatriots. The poet A. Shcherbakov writes: "... and the world, as on Victory Day, rejoiced."

Russia is the birthplace of cosmonautics. The first ideas of space exploration were born in it, the first critical steps in the conquest of outer space, worthy sons of their Fatherland were born here, people whose names glorified our country all over the world.

For new generations, April 12, 1961 is a distant history, but we must draw their attention to the events that have become golden pages in the history of mankind, to the names of people with whom greatest feat- A breakthrough into space.

This manual includes materials designed to help librarians in planning, preparing and holding events dedicated to Russian space exploration.

By holding events about space and astronautics, libraries should instill in young people a sense of patriotism, pride in the achievements of the human mind, showing the great achievements of the Russian people through the heroic profession - astronaut.

The objectives of events on space and astronautics are:

Acquaintance of readers with the history of space exploration and with the first cosmonauts, broadening their horizons by popularizing literature on achievements in the field of astronautics;

Instilling interest in the study of space and the history of astronautics;

Raising a sense of patriotism and citizenship.

Book exhibitions should feature pages of biographies of prominent astronauts, the history of the development of astronautics, various reference literature. The following exhibitions are recommended: an exhibition - a game or an exhibition - a quiz "Roads to the Stars", which can be devoted to a specific topic. At the exhibition, you can place an appeal to the reader with an appeal to participate in the quiz. Exhibition - portrait (exhibition - personalia) "Star son of the Earth", "Yu.Gagarin - a man - a legend", dedicated to an outstanding personality. At the exhibition, you can place his portrait, books about this person, prepare booklets, bookmarks with a biography.

Exhibition - crossword "Space is getting closer" - it will host an enlarged crossword puzzle, as well as literature with which you can find answers.

It will be possible to learn interesting facts from the life of our Universe and the planets of the Solar System through mass events. Their forms must be varied. Literary composition with viewing feature film“Rise”, “Into the Starry Sky”, slide presentation “The first cosmonaut of the planet Earth”, round table “Man. Universe. Cosmos”, an erudite hour “Above us is the starry sky”, an hour of interesting messages “Flight to unknown worlds”, a conference “A man has ascended into space”, a lesson of courage “A female astronaut is in orbit”, an educational hour “Among the stars and galaxies”, video quiz "Space World", etc.

The thematic hour "First Steps into the Universe" will tell about the magical beauty and great mystery of the cosmos, which attracts people more and more. In the process of getting acquainted with the discoveries in astronomy, the children will learn about the structure of the solar system, the galaxy and the Universe. Schoolchildren will be fascinated by the possibility of searching for extraterrestrial civilizations. They will get acquainted with the amazing, rare and dangerous profession of an astronaut.

Of great interest will be information about space cooking and space records. At the event, you can talk about how each of us benefits from the results of space research, about the success of the space industry today. In conclusion, the children should be recommended books and encyclopedias on this subject from the library fund.

ANNEX 1.

What is space

Conversation

The word "space" in translation from Greek means "world", "universe". From the Greeks the word "cosmos" passed into modern science as a synonym for the universe. Space includes interplanetary, interstellar, intergalactic space with all objects located in it. Space is a huge space, and it is getting bigger and bigger.

Our entire solar system is only a small part of the cosmos. Everything that happens in space affects the objects in it, that is, each of us.

Studying what is happening in space helps people on Earth take the necessary measures to preserve life. By using spacecraft launched from the Earth, it is possible not only to observe the processes that occur on our planet, but also to take the necessary measures in a timely manner. For example, you can warn in advance about some natural phenomena: severe hurricanes, floods, magnetic storms and others.

To study and use space, mankind is constantly inventing and launching into space more and more new spacecraft. Today, there is a huge number of artificial satellites in space, with the help of which television, telephone and radio communications are carried out on Earth.

Television programs have not mentioned for a long time that the transmission is via satellite. Modern technical means immeasurably increase the speed and range of information transmission. Usage space technology in communication systems significantly increased its efficiency, made it possible to interconnect all corners of the globe, made it possible to widely use the most informative short waves, on which, in particular, television operates. New opportunities for improving the quality, efficiency and reliability of communications opened up with the launch of artificial earth satellites. Being in the field of direct radio visibility of a large number of ground points remote from each other, the satellite makes it possible to unite them with a space communication network. For this communication, due to the direct visibility of the satellite from ground stations, informative short waves are used, which ensures reliable and highly economical transmission of a large amount of information over long distances.

The vagaries of the weather for many millennia have amazed the imagination of man. Manned spacecraft and stations have great opportunities for operational observation of weather phenomena, since an astronaut can immediately give information about certain weather phenomena without waiting for special processing of meteorological information. In our country, a permanently operating space system weather service "Meteor", which is constantly being improved. Satellite meteorology is one of the most impressive examples of the service of space to the practical needs of people.

Every year, more and more storerooms of the Earth are discovered by geologists. Oil and natural gas, iron ore and manganese, aluminum and tin, gold and diamonds, uranium and coal - this is not a complete list of those vital materials that most directly affect the development of our industry, the life of the country, its growth. power and prosperity. The launches of the first manned spacecraft showed that from orbital heights a lot can be discerned on the earth's surface, even with the naked eye. Already today there is every reason to assert that space geology will occupy one of the leading places in revealing the patterns of formation and distribution of mineral deposits. A large role will be played by space technology, which contributes to the integration of disparate ideas about the natural processes taking place on our planet.

Agriculture and forestry receive a lot of useful information from artificial earth satellites. Today, sufficient experience has not yet been accumulated that would allow us to calculate the entire effect that the space service provides. Comparison of satellite images taken in different time, will make it possible to study the processes of reforestation, predict stocks various kinds tree species, to determine the rational timing of felling. Space photography can serve as the basis for the optimal development of plans for the logging industry on a national scale, the selection of sites for logging depending on their quality, quality of the forest stand, species composition, timber reserves, as well as taking into account the conditions of rafting and transportation. Space means can play a special role in protecting forests from fires.

Spaceships launched from Earth are directed to various planets of the solar system: Mars, Saturn, Venus, Pluto and others. And not only spaceships have already visited the Moon, but also people, American astronauts. Large reserves of helium have been discovered on the Moon. When it becomes possible to deliver it to Earth, the fuel resources of the Earth will increase for many hundreds of years.

We know that in billions of years life on Earth may cease, so the question of searching for objects in space that would be suitable for human life in the future is already becoming relevant.

We are interested in whether there is life in other star systems and in other galaxies, whether there is life in the Universe sentient beings whether it is possible to establish contact with them. The efforts of mankind are directed today to all this.

A little more than fifty years have passed since man launched the first spacecraft into space, and we have learned how much new, interesting and useful things. And humanity still has many, many millions of years ahead, which will allow us to penetrate deeper into the secrets of the Universe and preserve in the future the life that originated on Earth.

The study of outer space and its use in the interests of mankind is becoming more intense and presents us with the first lessons. There are more and more artificial flying objects in space, the work and flight of which must be constantly monitored in order to avoid unpleasant consequences.

In February 2009, artificial satellites of the United States and Russia collided in space. From their collision, large debris was formed, which are dangerous for other aircraft and, first of all, for the International Space Station, where researchers from Russia, the USA and other countries work. It is necessary to make more active use of the methods and means developed on Earth to clean up outer space from debris.

The universe, or cosmos, is the whole world around us. All celestial bodies go through a complex path of development. But no matter how they change, what they consist of (matter) is indestructible, therefore the Universe is not only infinite, but also eternal.

Biography of Yuri Gagarin

Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin was born on March 9, 1934 in the village of Klushino, Gzhatsky district, Western region of the RSFSR (now Gagarinsky district Smolensk region), near the city of Gzhatsk (now Gagarin). By origin, he comes from peasants: his father, Alexei Ivanovich Gagarin (1902 - 1973), is a carpenter, his mother, Anna Timofeevna Matveeva (1903 - 1984), is a pig farmer.

Yuri's childhood passed in the village of Klushino. On September 1, 1941, the boy went to school, but on October 12 the Germans occupied the village, and his studies were interrupted. For almost a year and a half, the village of Klushino was occupied German troops. On April 9, 1943, the village was liberated by the Red Army, and schooling resumed.

On May 24, 1945, the Gagarin family moved to Gzhatsk. In May 1949, Gagarin graduated from the sixth grade of the Gzhatskaya high school and on September 30 he entered the Lyubertsy vocational school No. 10. At the same time he entered the evening school of working youth, the seventh grade of which he graduated in May 1951, and in June he graduated with honors from the school as a molder-caster.

In August 1951, Gagarin entered the Saratov Industrial College and October 25, 1954 for the first time came to the Saratov flying club. In 1955, Yuri Gagarin achieved significant success, graduated with honors and made the first solo flight on a Yak-18 aircraft. In total, Yuri Gagarin performed 196 flights in the flying club and flew 42 hours and 23 minutes.

On October 27, 1955, Gagarin was drafted into the army and sent to Orenburg, to the 1st Military Aviation Pilot School named after K.E. Voroshilov. He studied with the well-known test pilot Y.Sh. Akbulatova. October 25, 1957 Gagarin graduated from the school with honors. For two years he served in the 169th Fighter aviation regiment 122nd Fighter Aviation Division of the Northern Fleet, armed with MiG-15bis aircraft. By October 1959 he had flown a total of 265 hours.

In 1959 he married Valentina Ivanovna Goryacheva. On December 9, 1959, Gagarin wrote a statement asking him to be included in the group of cosmonaut candidates. A week later, he was called to Moscow to undergo a comprehensive medical examination at the Central Research Aviation Hospital. At the beginning of the next year, another special medical board followed, which recognized Senior Lieutenant Gagarin as fit for space flights. On March 3, 1960, by order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force, Konstantin Andreyevich Vershinin, he was included in the group of cosmonaut candidates, and on March 11, Gagarin and his family left for a new place of work. On March 25, regular classes began under the cosmonaut training program.

On April 12, 1961, the Vostok spacecraft with pilot-cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin on board was launched for the first time in the world from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. For this feat he was awarded the title of Hero Soviet Union, and on April 12, 1962, the day of Gagarin's flight into space was declared a holiday - Cosmonautics Day.

In 1966, Gagarin was elected an honorary member International Academy astronautics, and in 1964 he was appointed commander of a detachment of Soviet cosmonauts. In June 1966, Gagarin had already begun training under the Soyuz program. He was appointed understudy for Komarov, who made the first flight on the new ship.

On February 17, 1968, Yuri Alekseevich defended his graduation project at the Air Force Engineering Academy named after Professor Zhukovsky. The State Examination Commission awarded Colonel Yu.A. Gagarin qualification "pilot-engineer-cosmonaut". Until the last days, Gagarin served as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.

On March 27, 1968, he died under unclear circumstances near the village of Novoselovo, Kirzhachsky District. Vladimir region during one of the training flights. He was buried near the Kremlin wall on Red Square.

APPENDIX 3

From the memoirs of Yuri Gagarin. one hundred and eight minutes

Once I was walking through the frosty, but already seized by the premonition of spring Moscow.

Thousands of people were walking along Gorky Street towards me, overtaking me. And no one, of course, knew that a grandiose event was being prepared, the like of which history had not yet known. I stood by the Kremlin wall, took another look at Lenin's Mausoleum, went down to the Moskva River... That very night I flew to Baikonur.

Together with me German Titov flew to the cosmodrome, several other cosmonauts, a group of scientists and a doctor. We sat next to Herman. The fears of those who suggested not to warn us about the day of the flight, so that we would not be nervous, were not justified. Both I and Herman, who was ready to take a seat in the Vostok's cabin if necessary, felt great.

We were ready. But the long-awaited decision of the state commission was announced only at the cosmodrome: I was appointed commander of Vostok-1, German Titov was my understudy.

Until April 11, Herman and I studied the flight schedule, worked out all the elements of the task. It was necessary to remember all the operations that had to be performed in flight. The creator helped us in this spaceship, and prominent Soviet scientists.

We also got used to the "cosmic cuisine" - juices and pastes, which were to be eaten from special tubes.

The day before the flight was set aside for complete rest. In the house where Herman and I lived, quiet music sounded. We didn't talk about flying. They reminisced about childhood, books they read, films they saw. They laughed merrily at each other, recalling all sorts of funny incidents and incidents. In addition to the doctor, who was with us almost constantly, friends from the detachment, the Chief Designer (S.P. Korolev - for a long time his surname remained secret - ed.) came in.

Went to bed at nine o'clock. I remember that I didn't dream. At half past six in the morning the doctor woke me up. Herman also got up, singing, as usual, a playful song. Last check. Everything is okay.

They helped me put on my spacesuit. Right there, it seems, I gave the first autographs in my life.

Then Herman and I got into a special bus, in which space life begins. The suit is connected to the devices that supply air.

At the foot of the rocket - a huge structure directed to the sky - he said goodbye to the mourners and went up in an elevator to the top of the rocket. The statement I made a few minutes before this is widely known. It was printed in newspapers, broadcast on the radio. Nevertheless, I would like to recall a few phrases said at the cosmodrome. After all, they accurately reflected my state of mind before the flight, my feelings and thoughts:

“Am I happy going into space? Of course, happy. After all, at all times and epochs it was the highest happiness for people to participate in new discoveries. There are only a few minutes left before the start. I tell you, dear friends, goodbye, as people always say to each other, setting off on a long journey. How I would like to hug you all, familiar and unfamiliar, distant and close!

And so I was left alone, among the numerous devices illuminated by artificial light. Only the radio connected me with the outside world.

Of course, I was worried - only a robot would not be worried at such moments and in such an environment. But at the same time, I was sure that the flight would be completed successfully, that nothing that our scientists and technicians would not have foreseen would happen. I was confident in the perfection of the rocket, spacesuit, instruments, communication with the Earth, the quality of food. Obviously, they believed in me too. All this, taken together, was called "readiness for space flight."

What was I thinking while sitting in the seat of the spaceship before launch? The communication technology has already been tested. Music was heard: friends made sure that I did not feel lonely. There were sixty minutes of "free time".

The speed of human thought has not yet been calculated, but what distance can it cover in an hour! I was to become a pioneer, the first person to break away from the Earth, to overcome the power of its gravity. Of all human daring dreams, this, of course, from time immemorial was considered the most unrealizable, fabulous.

The rocket engines were turned on at 09:07. The load immediately began to increase. I was literally pushed into a chair. As soon as the "Vostok" broke through the dense layers of the atmosphere, he saw the Earth. The ship flew over a wide Siberian river. The islands on it and the wooded shores illuminated by the sun were clearly visible.

He looked at the sky, then at the Earth. Mountain ranges and large lakes were clearly distinguished. Even the fields were visible.

The most beautiful sight was the horizon, a rainbow-coloured band separating the Earth in the light of the sun's rays from the black sky. The bulge, roundness of the Earth was noticeable. It seemed that all of it was surrounded by a pale blue halo, which, through turquoise, blue and purple, turns to blue-black ...

Weightlessness, which I quickly got used to, played a cruel joke on me. After one of the entries in logbook I let go of the pencil and it floated freely around the cockpit along with the tablet. But suddenly the knot of the cord, on which the pencil was fastened, was untied, and he dived somewhere under the seat. From that moment on, I never saw him again. Further observations had to be transmitted by radio and recorded on a tape recorder.

With the exception of this small incident, nothing unforeseen happened. The predetermined flight schedule was observed exactly. Until the very descent, everything went about as we expected on Earth.

At 10:25 a.m., the braking device was automatically activated. The ship entered the dense layers of the atmosphere. Through the curtains that covered the portholes, I could see the crimson reflection of the flames raging around the ship. The weightlessness disappeared, the growing overloads again pressed me to the chair. They increased and were stronger than during takeoff.

At 10 hours 55 minutes, 108 minutes after the start, the Vostok landed safely on the field of the Leninsky Put collective farm near the village of Smelovka.

I must have looked strange in a bright orange suit. The first "earthlings", a woman and a girl, were afraid to come closer to me. They were Anna Akimovna Takhtarova and her granddaughter Rita.

Then machine operators ran up from the field camp, we hugged and kissed each other. In those less than two hours that I spent in space, the radio brought the news of the launch here and to all parts of the Earth. My last name was already known to those who met me.

"Vostok" descended a few tens of meters from a deep ravine, in which the spring waters rustled. The ship turned black, burned, but that is why it seemed to me even more beautiful and dear than before the flight.

The forester's granddaughter Rita Takhtarova is already going to school. I will never forget that she and her grandmother were the first people to meet me after returning from space.

APPENDIX 4

Poems about the first astronaut of the planet

I was the first to count life backwards...

Vladimir Vysotsky

I was the first to measure life backwards.
I will be impartial and truthful:
First the skin shot out then
And smoked, defusing the pores.

I hid, and calmed down, and froze.
I thought I came back suddenly
In the soullessness of airless pressure chambers
And in the closed loops of centrifuges.

Now I will become motionless and heavy
And immersed in silence, but for now
Furs and horns of all newspaper cousins
They're blowing this up for the ages.

Memory whipped my nerves with a whip,
In it, each image was unique:
Here's my stunt double who could have been the first
Who was able to become the second for the first time.

So far, they do not spend a font on it -
Stock of capital letters for one.
The two of us walked all the way to the elevator
But then I went up without him.

Here's the one that drew the orbit.
With me, no one knew him by sight.
I knew: now he is in a closed bunker
Throws handfuls of thoughts into a sieve.

And as if from behind a smokescreen
Friends were faces and families.
They will all be in the press soon.
Tell your biographies.

All of them, with whom I knew a good neighborhood,
Witnesses will be brought to trial.
My usual barefoot childhood
They will put them on and put them in the tablets.

The wonderful word "Start" - a semblance of a cry -
It appeared and hovered over me.
Unkind, muffled grumbled nozzles
And they spat out molten saliva.

And a whirlwind of feelings blew out the fire of the soul,
And I didn't dare or forgot to breathe.
The planet finally pulled
Pressed, not risking letting go.

And kilograms turned into tons,
Eyes seemed to go out of their sockets
And the right eye for the first time, surprised
He looked at the left one, not covering it with an eyelid.

They shut my mouth - I don’t remember - whether it was a cry, a gag.
I grew out of the chair, like a stump with roots.
That gobbled up all the fuel to the drop
And the first step fell off.

Devices on the ground calmed down,
Spring has taken its course again.
My eyes returned to their place,
Overloads disappeared - silence.

The experiment has entered another phase.
The pulse began to beat less frequently on the sensors.
I flew into the night, bypassing the evening, immediately
And got the order to rest.

I put the suit helmet on my elbow,
Speaking about your well-being...
Such a cloying lightness came
Which even made her sick.

The microphone cord is twisted like a loop,
The lungs pounded on the ribs, ringing.
I choked on my heart for a moment -
It got stuck in my throat.

I gave a report cheerfully, conscientiously,
Clear and very businesslike.
I thought: here it is weightlessness,
I weigh zero, so little - nothing!

But I did not know at this hour of flight,
Joking over wonderful weightlessness,
That she will vomit bloody
And bone calcium will wash out with urine.

Everything that I managed to remember, I immediately listed,
I dictated it to tape and even wrote it down.
But scattered thoughts hovered over me
And they bumped their sides against the logbook.

I counted a lot of weighty, visible thoughts,
And the small ones scurried between them a little more smoothly,
But weightlessness in weight somehow equalized them -
They will then figure out which is more important.

And I caught any that came across,
He pulled her by a thin invisible rope.
Here the first one arose and immediately broke off,
There was only one word left: “Not guilty!”

But the word "innocent" does not mean "not involved" -
This has been done in Rus' for a long time.
We did not draw lots, - happiness winked at me,
And a member of the party, a major, took communion with the stars.

Between "zero" and "launch" it seemed to someone
Or maybe - the operator wrote down with fright,
That I'm quite cheerful, showing off even a little,
Uninhibited and bravo "Let's go!" said.

The very first

Konstantin Simonov

Dawn. We don't know anything yet.
The usual "breaking news"...
And he is already flying through the constellations.
The earth will wake up with his name.
"Wide is my native land..."
The familiar voice of the first call signs.
We started our reports with them,
And I don't remember it for nothing.
Without asking for help from anyone
She herself rose from the ashes of wars and dust,
My country knows no fear
Now sends his son into space.
We remember everything. Nothing is forgotten.
But we are for peace: seriously! For all! Forever!
And, launched into a peaceful orbit,
Our man goes into battle with nature.
Excitement strikes like a hammer on the nerves;
Not everyone is up to it:
Get up and go on the attack, the very first!
I don't want to look for other comparisons.

The orchestras fell silent, speeches faded ...

Alexander Tvardovsky

The orchestras fell silent, the speeches ceased,
Parade flags folded motley front.
And this thunder of a unique meeting,
Like the thunder of a thunderstorm, it went beyond the horizon.

And a new feat was accomplished in the world,
AND new holiday burst on the threshold.
He was even more solemn and wider,
And he just couldn't be the first.

This year marks 55 years since the day when the Russian man Yuri Gagarin made the world's first flight around our planet, opened the boundless expanses of the Universe to mankind. Libraries of the Kstovsky district adequately met the anniversary and held a series of thematic events.

Presentation of the multimedia guide in the Central Bank. A. S. Pushkin

April 6, 2016 at the Central Library. A. S. Pushkin, a presentation of the multimedia guide "The Day that Entered the Ages" was held with the participation of students of MBOU secondary school No. 2. Employees of the information and bibliographic department presented a fascinating story about the life of Yu. A. Gagarin, his professional achievements, preparing for the world's first space flight, showed video materials about the pioneer of space. In memory of the hero, a recording of the song “Do you know what kind of guy he was ...” performed by Yu. Gulyaev sounded.

The schoolchildren were particularly interested in the information about Yuri Gagarin's stay in the city of Gorky. IN Nizhny Novgorod there are many streets named after the achievements of Russian cosmonautics and cosmonauts: Space, Heroes of Space, Komarov, Tereshkova, Tsiolkovsky. The Arzamas highway became Gagarin Avenue shortly after the tragic death of the brave Soviet pilot. Those present were interested in the news from the Nizhny Novgorod Planetarium, where a space simulator is installed, on which everyone can experience space loads.

Cosmonautics Day game for kids in the Volzhsky village

The theme of space is always interesting to people, starting from early childhood. On Cosmonautics Day, a game-journey "Between stars and galaxies" was held for the kids of the Volzhsky village. Employees of the Rabotkinsky Children's Library presented the book exhibition "A Star named Gagarin" and introduced children to publications about the first cosmonaut. The story of the presenters was accompanied by a colorful presentation "Cosmos". "Can everyone fly into space?" - this question was addressed to the participants of the event. The children reasoned that before flying, you need to prepare for the flight. Only the most healthy, educated and courageous are enrolled in the cosmonaut corps. During the game “I am an astronaut”, the kids quickly put on improvised space suits and felt for themselves what a difficult task it is.

Intellectual tournament for schoolchildren

On April 20, 2016, teams of 9 "A" and 9 "B" classes of MBOU secondary school No. 8, "Cosmostars" and "Vostok", took part in the intellectual tournament "Space Odyssey", organized by the service department Central Library them. A. S. Pushkin.

Library staff made a report about the history of the development of the universe, about state of the art Russian cosmonautics. Schoolchildren watched with interest a video about the first manned flight into outer space.

During the intellectual competition, the children showed good knowledge of the past and present of astronautics: they actively answered the questions of the hosts, as design engineers together created spaceships, successfully passed tests for readiness to become an astronaut. The teams demonstrated the ability to work harmoniously as a team. But the game must have a winner, and the Vostok detachment of future cosmonauts became it.

During the event, there was book exhibition"In Space Orbits".

Journey for Kindergarteners in Druzhny Village

Pupils of the kindergarten in the village of Druzhny, together with teachers and a librarian, made a fascinating journey through the pages of the oral magazine “Sky. Stars. Rockets. After watching the animated film "Main Star", the kids learned a lot about human space exploration. Participating in the game program and striving to get into the space squad, the children underwent sports training, tested themselves for attentiveness, perseverance and concentration.

Evening portrait about Gagarin for students of the Vyazov school

The anniversary evening-portrait "Gagarin - the first in space" for students of the Vyazovskaya school was interesting and informative. N. Yu. Shapoval rural library, spoke about life path captain of the first starship, presenting the video clip "Yuri Gagarin" to the attention of the audience. S. I. Miranyuk, a teacher of the Russian language and literature, introduced the audience to the biography of the pioneers of space science - K. Tsiolkovsky and S. Korolev. And what is a conversation about space without a game?! Children enthusiastically participated in the quiz, successfully answering questions about the first manned flight into space, about the solar system, about mysterious stars and distant planets. Schoolchildren got acquainted with the publications presented at the thematic book exhibition.

Cosmonautics Day

On April 12, Russia celebrates Cosmonautics Day to commemorate the first space flight committed by Yuri Gagarin on the ship "Vostok". In 2016, this event turns 55 years old. Libraries of the Bogotol region prepared and held various events dedicated to this significant date.

"Space Race"

On April 12, the Bolshekosulskaya Library hosted the "Space Relay Race", timed to coincide with the Day of Cosmonautics.

The purpose of this event: to expand children's ideas about astronautics, to form a sense of patriotism through acquaintance with the great achievements of Russian people, to develop Creative skills students through the use of game elements. The event was attended by 14 children.

The alternation of intellectual and sports and entertainment competitions made the event attractive for both boys and girls.

The librarians introduced the children to the history of the holiday, told about the first cosmonaut Yu. A. Gagarin, about the first manned flight in space which lasted only 108 minutes, but it was the most difficult and dangerous, and it was proved that a person can live and work in outer space. A little over an hour after this flight, Yuri Gagarin became the most famous person on the ground.

After that, the librarians invited the children to take part in the Space Relay Race. It was attended by two teams "Stargazers" and "Gagarintsy". The guys of each team competed for the title of "Best Star Squad".

In the first competition, the children proved how friendly and well-coordinated the team of teams sv riding squad. The second competition revealed that the Stargazers team became the most erudite in the field of astronautics.

The contests “Carry a star on your head”, “Make a sun”, “Get into the hatch of a spaceship” showed how physically prepared the teams are. After all, the awkward and weak, as you know, are not taken into the ranks of astronauts. The "Portrait of an Alien" contest showed what kind of guys are inventors and dreamers.

All the tasks of our relay race were of a comic nature, so the most cheerful and friendly team "Stargazers" won. Commander Maxim Schreiner showed how erudite his team is in matters of the space system.

At the end of the event, the guys were able to take pictures in a space rocket, but those who wanted to fly away to Mars on all his life was not among those present. The guys decided that there is nothing better and nicer than our Earth.

"Through hardship to the stars"

On April 12, the Krasnozavodsk Library hosted an informational and educational game "Through hardships to the stars" for students in grades 3-4, dedicated to Cosmonautics Day.

The event began with a story by the head of the library, M.V. Panfilova, about the national holiday, about what now seems familiar to us, that spaceships start from the Earth. Dockings of spacecraft take place in high celestial distances. Cosmonauts live and work in space stations for months, automatic stations go to other planets.

You may ask: “What is special about this?”. But after all, quite recently, space flights were spoken of as science fiction. And on October 4, 1957, the new era the era of space exploration. On April 12, 1961, for the first time in the world, the first cosmonaut of the planet flew on the Vostok spacecraft. It was our citizen Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin. The inhabitants of the Earth will always remember with gratitude the names of people who opened a new sphere of human activity.

Under quiet melodies about astronautics, in poetic form, the presenters P. S. Zhiganova (representative of social protection of the MBU KTsSON) and M. V. Panfilova told the story of the birth of astronautics. The children watched the Baikonur Cosmodrome presentation with great interest, from which they learned not only about the first cosmonauts, but also about famous designers, as well as about the first mooring on the coast of the Universe, which was the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

Then all those present were actively involved in game program, divided into two teams "Cosmos" and "Gagarintsy", the guys visited six space stations. Entertaining competitions: “What we will take with us into space”, “Space riddles”, “Meeting with aliens”, “Radio operator competition”, “Laboratory of designers”, “Space training”, “Meeting with aliens” raised the fighting spirit of the guys. All participants were recognized as space experts.

The team "Gagarintsy" won, ahead of the team "Cosmos" by one point. Satisfied with the success, everyone received sweet prizes. This wonderful event has ended, but there are still many interesting meetings for children and teenagers ahead.

Road to space

In a space rocket
Named "East"
He is the first on the planet
I was able to rise to the stars.
Singing songs about it
spring drops,
Forever will be together
Gagarin and April.
V. Stepanov

On this day 55 years ago, Yuri Gagarin on the Vostok spacecraft made the first ever space flight. In honor of this holiday, the Cretan Library held an event in the kindergarten "The Road to Space".

Before the start of the event, all the children were attached anniversary emblems made by the library. Librarian Ksenia Alexandrovna Lalyko invited preschoolers to go on a journey to the stars. She told about the pioneers of the space age, how animals flew into space, how astronauts live and work at the International space station.

Before the start of the journey, the preschool children expressively read poems about space and astronauts. To become an astronaut - you need to have good health! The guys showed dexterity and skill in the competition "Physical training".

The guys reinforced their knowledge of space with "cosmic riddles". Children learned who was the first to fly into space, who was the first to go into outer space, got acquainted with interesting facts about astronauts and their work in orbit, and also adopted Active participation in an exciting quiz "Space ABC". The improvisation game “Weightlessness” was fun, where the children depicted the state of weightlessness in space to calm music. In the game "Constructors" the guys had to assemble a model of a rocket for a while.

At the end of their space journey on the planet Luna, the children met the lunar inhabitant Luntik. He played with them the mobile game "Ten Lunatics". And they pleased him with a cheerful song "Let's fly to the moon."

A colorful multimedia presentation and a film about life on the space station completed the librarian's story.

During space travel in a playful, accessible and popular form, preschoolers memorized the basic concepts of the structure of the solar system, stars and constellations.

Oral magazine " amazing world space"

April 12 Krasnorechenskaya library came visit the children's garden with an oral magazine "The Amazing World of Space".

The host of the oral journal, Natalia Ivanovna Yanenko, told the story of the creation of the rocket, introduced her to the founders of space discoveries, to Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky, who is called the father of astronautics. The children met Sergei Pavlovich Korolyov- chief designer and organizer of the production of rocket and space technology.

Librarian Natalya Viktorovna Mikhailovskaya reviewed the literature on the topic “The First in Space”. Children learned a lot about the first animals that flew into space, about the first cosmonauts and, of course, about Yuri Gagarin. The guys learned that in childhood, Yura was an ordinary child, dreamed of becoming a pilot. But the first profession that the future cosmonaut chose for himself was the profession of a metallurgist.
Yuri Gagarin studied at the Saratov flying club, graduated with honors from the aviation school in Orenburg, then served in the Arctic, studied flying. He was the best in his studies, honest and decent, very brave. His confidence and optimism, the desire to conquer space overcame all obstacles. The first manned flight into space lasted only 108 minutes, but it was the most difficult and dangerous, and it was proven that man could live and work in space. A little over an hour after this flight, Yuri Gagarin became the most famous person on Earth.

Natalya Vladimirovna Maksimova presented a media presentation that talked about special clothing for an astronaut - a spacesuit, about how the astronauts saw our planet, what the moon and planets of the solar system look like. Children enthusiastically took part in the "space quiz", for each correct answer the guys received an asterisk.

"With the stars mysterious connection»

On April 12, the Bulatov Library, together with the village club, held for children and adolescents an educational and game program “Mysterious connection with the stars”, aimed at familiarizing those present with such science as astronautics and expanding the horizons of children.

Librarian told the children that people have long dreamed of exploring space and knowing the sky. They thought for a long time about building such spaceships that could fly above the stars. In 1961, cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin was the first to travel into space, flying around the entire Earth and landed on Earth alive and well. It was on April 12, exactly 55 years ago, on this day, that the whole world applauded this man, who in less than 2 hours became known in the most remote corners of the Earth. The feat of Yuri Gagarin is the world's first orbital space flight, during which three absolute world space records were set: flight duration - 108 minutes (1 hour 48 minutes); flight altitude - 327.7 km; lifting cargo to this height - 4,725 kg. This flight was unique.

The librarian also introduced the children to interesting facts from the biography of Yuri Gagarin.

The head of the club, N. A. Emelyanova, held a quiz about the Cosmos and competitions: “In the solar kingdom, the Space State”, “Man on the threshold of the Universe”, “Moon mosaic”, “Pioneer means the first”. With pleasure, the children guessed space riddles.

At the end of the event, the librarian introduced the children to books about astronomy and stars, and congratulated all those present on the Day of Cosmonautics.

Stars, stars, for a long time
you chained forever
Man's greedy gaze.

And sitting in an animal skin
By the red fire
Inseparable in the blue dome
He could watch until the morning.

And looked in silence for a long time
Man in the expanse of the night -
That with fear
That with delight
That with a vague dream.

And then with a dream together
The tale is ripe on the lips:
About mysterious constellations
About unknown worlds.

Since then, they live in heaven,
As in the night land of miracles, -
Aquarius, Sagittarius and Cygnus,
Lion, Pegasus and Hercules.

Once - Mercury,
Two - Venus,

And after him already, then,
And the ninth planet
called Pluto.

Here is our starship flying forward
Towards the stars.
Goodbye home! Let us wag our tail
comet and then

Chorus:

Second couplet:

Yes! Let's fly where we're going
Stepping is not easy!
We will open everything, we will demolish all barriers,
We will save everyone from monsters

Chorus:

Third couplet:

Everyone is happy there! spacepot
Invite us to visit!
Thousands of planets tell us: "Hello!
Stay here!" But no -

Chorus:

(Back to the first slide.)

Palm shielding from the light,
The boy is sitting.
Silence.
And suddenly magic:
- Rocket
Reached Luna Station. - And looking up from notebooks,
He said with dignity:
- Order. -
Like it should be.
It should be like this
And not otherwise.
And no wonder
What is it us
We started
Assault on unsolved planets.
Do not reproach him for stinginess:
The boy is restrained because
What a continuation of discoveries
The era entrusted him!
