Tips for making the best use of your time. How to do more? Efficient use of time in Internet business! How to Prepare for New Jobs

The ability to use time correctly is a prerequisite for any success.

We are accustomed to believe that time is inexorably and incessantly moving forward. However, the aphorism of 1500 years ago says that there is no time, only we move. This statement may seem unusual, even strange. Indeed, how can you say that there is no time. After all, each of us has either a watch on the wrist that shows the time, or a smartphone, which, for greater accuracy, is completely synchronized over the network. There are a lot of dials around, and a radio with a TV, not to mention a computer, will not let us forget about the time. Well, in the end, you can look at the sun, its sunrise, movement through the sky, sunset. How can you say that there is no time.

But, in fact, the idea that time flows around us can still be absurd. One hundred years ago, Albert Einstein's theory of relativity destroyed the concept of time as a universal constant. The great scientist believed that there is no way to define events in such a way that they can be designated as occurring simultaneously.

You can also remember the words from the song: there is only a moment, between the past and the future - a moment is nothing. In other words, the present does not exist, it does not exist. The future is constantly flowing into the past. In the present, in this moment, in this nothingness, time is located, or rather the illusion of the existence of time.

That is, time is just a clock. That is, for a person, time is tangible. Only we move - biological organisms, for which time, of course, exists. And not only exists, but also acts as the main measure of life. For a person, every year lived, every five years of existence leave traces in the body (even every hour makes itself felt). Finally, it can be argued that time is the measure of every living organism. It measures the stages of its development from birth to maturity, from maturity to old age, up to its disappearance. At the same time, the life expectancy of a person relative to the age of the Universe is less than an atom compared to a large star. Therefore, according to the feelings of a person, time exists, and very little of it is allotted to all of us.

What does it mean to fully live life? This means making full use of the time given to us, that is, learning how to save it so that it is enough for a wide variety of important activities:

  • for study and work
  • for self-education
  • for recreation and sports
  • for relationships, friendship, starting a family and raising children
  • for leisure and entertainment

How much time do you really use wisely?

With an average life expectancy of 72 years, a person spends 22 years sleeping, 10 years working and 6 years eating. Adding these three numbers, you will see that they are just over half of the 72's. And what happened to the rest - 34 years? It already depends on the person himself, on what he will spend them. This is how the life of every normal person is valued. You may be surprised how much time you have at your disposal! But during the same time one person can do a lot in life, and the other - almost nothing. For example, Norbert Wiener, the founder of cybernetics, devoted all his free hours to his idea. And then, when his genius was praised in society, he denied it and said that if someone else devoted all his evenings, Saturdays and Sundays to labor the way he did, he could achieve the same. If someone for 50 years (from 22 to 72) beats the buckets only two hours a day, for a year (365 days) it will be 730 hours, for 50 years - 36 thousand 500 hours, that is, more than 4 years. Incredible, isn't it? If we want to develop our abilities, the inclinations of our own personality, we need to learn how to use our time as usefully and productively as possible. Are you making full use of your time? It is not enough to say "I think so" here. It must be determined objectively. Try to keep a time schedule for a period. By writing down absolutely everything that you spend time on every day, you can adjust your own lifestyle and learn how to properly manage your time.

Time is a negative value

In the course of his life, a person notices that the astronomical year supposedly has a different duration. At the age of 25 it seems like a year, at the age of 7-8 it seems like it lasts for two years. And after 55 years - on the contrary, it seems to be reduced the further, the more.

In childhood, it seems to everyone that there is still a lot of time ahead, but with age, its number decreases and decreases. It is important to remember this from a young age and direct your efforts towards education, advanced training, health care, improvement of mental and mental abilities, study of professional literature and foreign languages- all this (not in one, of course, a year) can be done if you are a good master of your time. At the same time, properly planned time leaves the opportunity to work, and relax, and have fun. In addition, we must remember that when you get married and have children, you will have less time for yourself. And then, perhaps, you will regret more than once that you neglected the opportunities that you had in your youth, because the foundations for the comprehensive development of the individual must be laid from childhood. Without wasting time in your younger years, you can do a lot of things. If you are a schoolboy or student, use the holidays to improve your knowledge of foreign languages, and during school year read books, magazines, newspapers in the language you are learning. The acquired knowledge and experience will make your future life easier. And you will not have to regret the time lost in your youth. It is clear that at the same time you should not shy away from entertainment, the joys of life in the society of peers. You just need to realize the value of time and learn how to properly distribute it.

Free time is a great wealth

Free time is a problem that interests everyone who seeks to develop their personality, to live meaningfully. This is our great wealth. For some, free time is minutes of sweet idleness and laziness, for others it is useful work, time for self-education and social activities, for entertainment and hobbies. At the same time, it is worth distinguishing non-working hours and free time. Leisure time is, so to speak, a slice of a loaf of non-working time. And the latter consists of those hours and minutes when we are not at work, that is, of the entire time, except for the working day. This includes, first of all, the time when we sleep, eat, do housework, go to and from work, that is, the troubles associated with ensuring our existence. The rest is the time that is so temptingly called free. It is this that we would like to have as much as possible, and this is due to how much of it from that very whole loaf will be cut off only by the mentioned chores.

Free time can be spent on:

  • self-education (reading newspapers, magazines, books, learning)
  • social activities (work in public organizations, participation in meetings, etc.)
  • active recreation (dancing, walking, vacation, playing musical instruments, sports, photography, drawing, etc.)
  • passive recreation (cinema, theater, concerts, radio, television, restaurants, guests)

The distribution of free time, or rather, its use, depends primarily on the qualifications and education of a person.

How to use free time

Each person has his own idea of the most appropriate use of free time, as well as individual opportunities. They depend on the type of his occupation, education, material conditions, on whether a person works in a city or in a village, etc.

But we must remember that a person who spends time in idleness daily loses part of his life. The younger the person, the more of his life time is lost, because in youth time flows much more slowly, in other words, in the same time a young person will do more than an older person. And this is provided that young people have much more free time than older people. If a person does not spend time either on work or on entertainment, therefore, it passes fruitlessly, in vain. No wonder such people are always bored. What to advise them? First of all, it is necessary that they, especially young people, understand that time is an extraordinary value. There are a thousand ways to spend your free time.

First, we need to control whether our time is being wasted. Secondly, once we realize the value of time and find out how much free time we have at our disposal with the help of non-working time, we should think carefully about how to use it best.

Who at least occasionally is not interested in how much time he spent in a week or a month on work (or study), entertainment, daily needs (washing, dressing, eating, etc.), he will never have an idea whether he uses his time, or, conversely, loses it.

If the only entertainment for you is TV or a computer game, then this is sadness. After all, it is better to devote time to something that can bring benefits and bring joy. What exactly it is - everyone determines for himself. Life is not infinite, it is limited in time. And you will never make up for what you lost today. But who said that from this moment you will not begin to live differently?

So, free time is by no means sweet idleness. It contributes to the restoration of our strength, to our comprehensive, harmonious development, and we must use it as our great wealth, which will be possible only when we live fully, diversified, properly armed with humor and good mood. Free time should not be exchanged for everyday little things and running around shopping, doing household chores. Here we need a thoughtful, clear organization. Just remember that in addition to family and work or study, you need to take care of your health, physical fitness, appearance, do not forget about the attitude towards people and communication with them, the ability to live in a team, overcome difficulties, remember about education and self-education, personal hobbies, physical education and sports, cultural entertainment, travel, etc.

Think about how you spend your free time. Anyone who has decided to engage in self-improvement, probably, with these words, will pick up a pencil and paper, a calendar and a watch. Perhaps he will be tempted, and for some period he will control his non-working time, including free time. And if at the same time he is honest with himself, he will definitely find certain reserves of free time that he can use in a new way.

Hello dear readers of my blog!

Do you want to know how to manage to do all your business, significantly increase your efficiency and change your life for the better? If yes, then read this post to the end!

IN Lately I get asked more and more often: how do you keep up with blogging, having such a job, what motivates you to write posts, etc. To be honest, recently I have had a slight decline in terms of the regularity of writing blog articles, I no longer devote so much time to the development of my blog. This is due to a significant increase in the workload at the main job, in general, a lot of things have changed there recently.

If earlier I studied literature, got some knowledge, now my work has turned into paperwork, without any development. I really started to get tired at my job, because there is no interest in working like that ...

In fact, these are just excuses - empty words, it's not about work at all, it's about ourselves.

"Money is gone - you will make money, time is gone - you will not return."

Time- this is probably the only resource in our life that cannot be replenished. The money spent can be earned, the disease can often be cured, but the lost time cannot be returned.

Therefore, efficient use of time - this is a very important moment in our life, which not all people pay attention to.

I believe that in order to effectively use your time, in order to do everything, you need to:

  • First of all, lead a correct and healthy lifestyle, so that there is vital energy
  • Do what you like. In simple words, turn your passions and hobbies into a business that generates income and satisfaction
  • Have specific goals and plans and work towards them, prioritize and weed out unnecessary actions

About these things and will be discussed in today's article.

Lead the right lifestyle in order to have energy

Fatigue, irritation, drowsiness, unwillingness to work, apathy - all these things depend not only on your thinking and desires, but also on the lifestyle that you lead. This includes rest, which I will discuss below, bad habits, nutrition, sleep.

All these things are necessary for good health and mood.

1. Eliminate bad habits

This is the first thing you should pay special attention to! Smoking, alcohol and other bad habits are what take energy and a huge amount of time from many people.

See for yourself, on average, a smoker spends about 5-10 minutes smoking one cigarette, this is the minimum, in fact it takes more time. On average, an ordinary smoker smokes a pack of cigarettes (20 pieces) per day. So 20x10=200. Imagine - almost 3.5 hours a day is spent only on smoking, although this is far from the case, in fact, much more! In addition, smoking is not only the enemy of time, but also the cause of: poor health; deterioration of the brain; irritability and many other negative things.

With alcohol, things are no better. No, I have nothing against drinking a glass of wine with dinner, it is considered very healthy. I mean drinking beer, lying on the couch after work, partying with a hangover the next day. Alcohol in this case, as well as smoking, is the enemy of our time and especially health.

2. Eat right

One of the reasons for poor health and unwillingness to work is not proper nutrition. My blog is not about a healthy lifestyle, so I won't write much here. Personally, I try to adhere to the following rules:

  • meals at least three to four times a day
  • no snacking between meals
  • obligatory breakfast
  • preference for vegetables and fruits. Recently, I have practically given up the consumption of meat, especially fatty (for example, pork).

If you eat a lot of especially heavy food (meat, fried, fatty), then all your energy is spent on digesting all this rubbish in the stomach and protecting yourself from toxins and toxins that such food forms. Remember how you want to sleep after eating such food at lunchtime. Try to eat only fruits and vegetables for lunch, you will immediately feel the difference! Proper nutrition is the key to good health, good mood, energy and excellent health.

3. Healthy sleep

Just like nutrition, sleep is directly related to health. If you do not get enough sleep all the time, then your working capacity decreases, your state of health worsens, etc. I try to sleep at least seven hours a day from 23-30 to 06-30. Too much sleep is also not recommended. Of course, with my work it is not always possible to adhere to a completely correct lifestyle, but I strive for this!

Use your vacation wisely!

Who would not say anything, but you can’t work all the time, you need rest! It's just that you need to rest properly. Constant mental and physical stress leads to fatigue, and as a result, a decrease in performance. That's why you need to take a break sometimes. For many people, watching movies, lying on the couch with a bottle of beer, playing computer games, etc. is considered relaxation.

This is wrong, this is unhealthy rest!

In order to get a quality rest, you need to escape from all the fuss that surrounds us. To do this, it is best to go to nature, to the country house, to go to the beach, fishing, etc. It is very useful to combine rest with sports (biking, skiing, skating, etc.). I believe that everyone needs rest. Rest increases efficiency, rested and full of energy a person will have time to do much more things than a tired one. The main thing here is not to relax too much, you need to know the measure in everything.

To do everything you need to want to do something - you need motivation!

Personally, I am deeply convinced that every person makes his own life. If you want to achieve something in life, if you want to become successful, take it and do it. Everything else is not so important.

In my understanding, there are two types of people.

1. People who put all the responsibility on others

They blame others for their failures. They say this:

  • I have no money because I have a bad job
  • I can't do it because I don't have the time and knowledge (skills)
  • I can't change jobs, because here the pay is at least low, but stable. I'm afraid not the best conditions

About 80 percent of people (even more) live this way, they come home tired of their own anger, their thoughts. The way of thinking, the lack of goals, the desire to change something, fear - that's what prevents them.

This is what such a way of life, such a way of THINKING can lead to!

I constantly see people complaining about lack of money, low wages, and so on. Then I ask these people: "What are you doing to change that?". I use myself as an example and say: "I blog, I write articles, I'm constantly learning new things, etc.". And I get in response: “I don’t have the time and knowledge for this!”. So, what is next? And then I see how these people drink beer, go fishing every other day, waste their time on empty talk ... And they believe that they really do not have time for useful activities! In fact, they have no DESIRE, they are vegetables that do not want to do anything and are used to go with the flow of life! Personally, I used to live like this, until I understood the reasons for my failures, until I understood: why some people are more successful than others! Today I have changed my way of thinking and consider myself to the second type of people.

2. The second type is people who look for the reasons for their failures in themselves, seek to correct them on their own

They say this:

  • I don't have money because I don't do enough or do something wrong
  • I can do it, find the time and get the necessary knowledge
  • this job is not for me, I need to do what I love, I'm willing to take risks
  • I have a goal and I will achieve it

Such people will not sit still and wait for “weather by the sea”, they will set goals and achieve them by any means.

In fact, if it were that simple, there would be a lot more successful people in the world. Very often, we are not allowed to change our thinking by those around us, mostly people close to us. They say that we are doing nonsense, that we are crazy, that we will not succeed, and so on.

This is a very serious barrier to success and must be overcome. Sometimes you have to make big sacrifices...

Therefore, to the question: "How to do everything?" I will answer like this: “In order to do everything, first of all it is necessary to strive to do something, to act, and not to sit idly by. You should like your work, you should enjoy it, and not irritation and fatigue - this is very important..

Plan your every move!

Good health and the desire to work and achieve are very important. However, planning is the real secret of why successful people manage to do all their business and achieve their goals. The goal is the end result of your work, the more carefully you plan your actions, the faster you will get the result, you will achieve your goals.

Most people are not used to planning their lives. For example, they know: that today they need to go to work, do some amount of this work there (as much as possible), go to the store on the way home, and that's it. Then they go home, and then how it goes. Common situation? I often hear these people say: “Let's wait and see”, “We still need to live to this day”, “Life will show”, “I don’t know, depending on my mood” and so on. These people go with the flow of life and expect something incomprehensible from it, they believe in fate, in God, and in anything, but not in themselves and in their own strength! Here's what life "downstream" leads to:

I don’t want to live like this, so I began to plan my life. I have goals that I am going to achieve, I plan my actions to achieve them. To do this, I got myself a regular diary, where I write everything that I will do during the year, I write plans for every month, every week, I plan my every day! To be honest, I didn’t believe in it before, it seemed funny to me, but how wrong I was then!

In fact, planning very much organizes a person, makes him responsible for his every step! Planning will not allow you to forget about important things and actions.

Therefore, if you want to keep up with everything, be sure to get yourself a regular paper diary and write down all your steps on it.

Every morning plan your time, the more carefully you do it, the more time you will have. For example, every morning I start by filling out a diary, where, but I schedule my whole day, I try to plan everything by the hour. In the evening, I analyze what I did during the day, if I didn’t manage to do something, then I plan for another time or, if possible, try to finish it. If I did too much, then I make a note about it, if this work was planned later, then I put a mark that I completed it.

How to improve your life and succeed

In order to manage to do everything that you plan, and even more, you need to try to somehow adapt to the circumstances, strive to improve your skills, and come up with new chips that help you do more than usual.

In order to make it clearer to you, I will give a few examples that I use myself.

I like to watch interesting films and programs, you can’t imagine how much time these entertainments took from me, it’s certainly a vacation, but it’s incomplete, I already spend every day at the computer monitor screen.

Most recently, I got rid of all my collections of movies and computer games, just went and deleted everything! It’s a pity, of course, but it’s better to watch various training courses, read books, engage in self-education than to waste time. Self-education, learning something new takes a lot of time, but it is necessary. I do the following.

Video courses and other educational materials that require a computer, I study at home. But I read books only in my free time, when the computer is not available to me. For example, I bought a few audiobooks and recorded them on my audio player (possibly on my phone), and as soon as the opportunity arises, I listen to them.

For example, on the way to work and back, at the time of any trips (in a car, bus, etc.). If the opportunity arises, then I read a book, I have them both at home and at work. The same can be done during the rest, if you wish. Therefore, to say that we do not have time for training is stupid, you just need to be able to use the situation.

What is good for Tuesday, can not always be used on Wednesday

Never put off your affairs “for tomorrow” if they can be done today - this is very disturbing, this is a burden that clogs your head and makes you constantly think about it. If you start something, then bring it to the end.

Many people say that they do not know how to make money, they do not know what to do, they have no ideas. When I started blogging, I didn’t even know what I would write about today, and even more so tomorrow. I did not know at all how I would make money on the Internet.

There is a wonderful saying:

Take the first step by believing. You don't need to see the whole staircase - just step on the first step

In fact, these are very wise words, the main thing is to do something, and knowledge and ideas will come with time. Ideas can appear unexpectedly, it happens to me more and more often, the main thing is not to miss them. I always carry a small notebook and a pencil in my pocket, as soon as I get some idea, for example, the topic of a post, I immediately write it down on paper, otherwise you can forget and miss something important.

In terms of, I would like to note such useless things as, for example, viewing blog traffic statistics, viewing your income in various systems. I don’t want to say that you shouldn’t follow these things, I’m saying that you don’t need to turn these classes into constant rituals and spend precious time on them, it’s enough to devote this activity just a couple of times a day (20-30 minutes). After all, attendance will not increase from viewing statistics and income will not increase. But the amount of work done, which really helps to increase attendance and earnings, is falling.

I also used to look at all day long, check my mailbox, sit in, in the end I did much less in terms of development and, but I sat in front of my monitor all day long.

Try to discard unnecessary things to achieve your goals. Set priorities and do what is really necessary.

We are often faced with cases in which we are poorly versed, or we are simply not interested in doing this. For example, if you have a blog about fishing, and you don’t understand codes at all, then it’s better to entrust the work with the code to people who can (for example, turn to the exchange). Sometimes it is better to pay with money, saving time for more useful activities.

You only need to do what you like and bring RESULT, use your strengths, and entrust unnecessary work to other people.

Therefore, friends, use your time effectively, value it, and then you will have time to do all your business! Remember - time is not a renewable resource, you can't get it back!

That's all for me. How do you like the article?

Sincerely, Alexander Bobrin

Alexander, I almost agree with a lot of what you wrote. I especially liked points 1 and 3 to effectively use my time. Here are thoughts about the types of people diverging in comparison with yours. I like and to the first type and to the second I will carry myself. But based on the first, I don’t shift responsibility to anyone, because there’s not even anyone, I’m the only one in my family for the main thing, but all the sub-points are mine. The second type is also mine, only I don’t like to take risks and I’m afraid, otherwise you can finally lose everything that you have. And in no case should this be allowed.

I really like the saying: Never put off your business for tomorrow, what can be done today. Wonderful wisdom of the century!

Great article as always! As soon as laziness is only to fight ...

Sasha, great article! I try to follow all these tips, but I probably don’t do half of it (I don’t blame anyone for this, it all depends on me). I have been listening to various webinars and trainings in the car for a long time, I keep a netbook at work and watch lessons. Saves a lot of time, but still not enough.

You are right about the statistics. I used to look every hour, now I look once a day when I turn off the computer. But it takes a lot of time to view mail, although I open 30 percent of letters in total.

And planning is tight. I started a diary a long time ago, sometimes I even write something in it, but not regularly. In short, there is work to be done.

By the way, have you seen the movie "Time"? Makes you really appreciate it.

Nina, I wrote about how I see ideal people!

Oleg, thank you. Hmm... even though I wrote badly about films, I love films with meaning! Will have to look. 😉

Enough talk! Take it and do it!)) good article! I have points about important things and goals, but with a healthy way it doesn’t work out very well - I prefer tasty and harmful))) I need to improve ...

    Great article!

You won’t earn all the money, so don’t get too carried away with it. And then life will pass in an attempt, even if successful, to earn as much as possible 😉

Sasha! thanks for the article. I read it in one gulp. I completely agree.

    Time is an irreparable loss.

I live according to the plan. I always plan in the evening (there is no time to think in the morning). I keep a diary carefully.

    And there's not enough time...

I noticed that in recent years, time has become much faster for me.

Maybe because I want to learn a lot and have time ...

    Elena

Galina, have you noticed how slowly time passes when you are standing in line? I used to just go wild if I had to get stuck somewhere, and then I even learned how to use this time to the maximum - I bought a multimedia player, downloaded what I needed to learn and study, and now I’m not afraid of a single queue 🙂

    Olya

I also noticed that when something useful is busy, then time flies instantly! 🙂

    Ruslan

Yes, when just sitting, time drags on for a very long time. I had a case, I had to go at 3 o’clock and the time was 2 o’clock and that hour I didn’t do anything, but just sat and it seemed to me that an eternity had passed, so it’s better to do something to somehow distract yourself.

    Olya

Galina, you are great for planning everything in your diary. No wonder they say, “a short pencil is better than a long memory” 🙂 If you don’t write down, but rely on your memory, then you will 100% forget and won’t do what you wanted. Experienced more than once.

    Evgenia Kuvarina

I also convinced myself. It seems that it is impossible to forget, but the very next day you don’t remember even half of what you wanted to do. Therefore, now I write everything down and write down all the goals for the day.

An excellent article, only its form somewhat conflicts with the content: it is too massive and it takes a long time to read. 🙂

The most main idea, in my opinion: time is a non-renewable and constantly decreasing resource in everyone's life. Personally, for all my years, honestly, I often had to almost cry from understanding this. For example, when you spend it aimlessly at work, which, in fact, gives nothing but a piece of bread.

It is possible to spend your time rationally and sensually (read: life) ONLY by setting a goal. I have, for example, Last year one super goal: promote the blog. And, sorry, even sitting on the push, I'm getting closer to this goal (that is, I'm not wasting time), because, for example, I'm thinking about the topic of the next post.

It’s immediately obvious that someone has read the book rich dad, poor dad)) 😀

    Alexander Bobrin

By the way, Darwin, I haven't read it yet!)))

    Olya

I've heard a lot about this book, but haven't gotten my hands on it yet 🙂

    Evgenia Kuvarina

And I read it. And I advise everyone, thoughts are very wise. Now I try to read just such literature

Great post Sasha, I first began to think about organizing my working time when I got my hands on a book - Rework business without prejudice. And this, of course, gave the first results, I began to do more, do work faster, etc.

Efficient use of time is one of the secrets of those who do a lot in their activities. Everyone can learn this, but not everyone understands how important it is.

    Evgenia Kuvarina

And I have information is better assimilated in reading. I tried to listen, but I get distracted and have to listen again. But this is a great way out, for example, in a car. Instead of just standing in traffic and wasting time, you can listen to an audiobook

I liked the article very much. Respect to the author! Yes, time is an irreplaceable resource! “We are often faced with cases in which we are poorly versed. Sometimes it's better to pay with money, saving time for more useful activities. ”But this turned out to be new for me. I realized my mistake. So much time was spent not so much on the work itself, but on self-study. It is true that they say: “don’t get into your sleigh.”

Yes, and I should not hope for memory, do not be lazy to write down plans more often, the written down will not go anywhere.

    Cool article! Very motivating =)

My studies take too much time, so there is absolutely nothing left for the blog. But I still try to write there every three days, so that the PS and readers get used to it.

And according to the article, it is very motivating. Took a couple of tips

You can't do everything yourself. I spent several days to make a theme for WordPress from an HTML template, and it still didn’t work out. Then I found good topic online, just removed the links. During this time, it was possible to write more than one post ...

Motivation is sometimes raised by other people's finstrips 🙂

Alexander, much of what you write and discuss in your block is very familiar to me. Initially, I faced problems about what to write about and how, what to do, etc. But, taking the first step, even without knowing at all what will happen next, the Universe itself then opens up many opportunities for us.

What a powerful article! Thank you, Sasha! 😉

All advice is very wise and practical. Planning is especially important. You can't do without it. I also have a diary and always write down important things in it. It was like that even before I started blogging. And now you need to plan this important work. Every day, write down what to do in relation to your blog. Recently started doing this.

I recently found your blog. Liked it very much. I read every article and find in each just the sea useful information. This article also gave a lot of information. Indeed, a beginner really thinks (I mean myself as well) - he wrote one article - the statistics will immediately crawl up. Yes, it was not here. We have to work all the time, and as you rightly said, you need to plan everything correctly. Without it, you won't move. Thanks again for your hard work!

I really liked the article. Not even so much in content as in the style of presentation - short, clear, point by point and without unnecessary reasoning. I just want to add that no matter how many people read articles about how to change the world, until he himself wants it, there will be no sense. (There are several examples from the life of others). And if a person goes to his goal, he bad habits will be able to benefit, probably.

Time is both friend and foe! It helps and hurts!

I also used to spend a lot of time playing computer games, but I realized that this Lost time. And now I try to use it rationally to create sources of income and personal growth

Time must be spent with some goals and not so easy to do nothing for days.

Very useful article Alexander. Indeed, we spend a lot of time on entertainment, on social networks, etc. Although during this time it was possible to do something useful. And every time we find excuses for ourselves. I like the phrase - when we do not want to do something, we find excuses, and when we want - opportunities.

Oh, I have a problem with the third paragraph "lead a healthy and proper lifestyle." Oh, I have a huge problem with this. 🙂

Time is probably the most precious thing we have... But many people spend it on all sorts of nonsense (unnecessary conversations, arguments, drunkenness, in general, the list can be continued for a long time).

But the whole pleasure lies in the fact that if you sow today, tomorrow you will reap the fruits. For example, as Alexander wrote that better article write how stupid it is to play games at the computer all day long and get dumb.

It is better to develop, I support your point of view, Alexander. It is better to develop and learn something new. It helps self-realization. Also, using certain knowledge, you can earn money. And you need to earn.

I heard a good expression: "If you blame another for your problems, then you transfer power over yourself into his hands." Those. whatever happens in life, you don’t have to blame other people, the government, politicians, you just need to take responsibility for your life.

Your way of thinking really needs to change, because who you are now is a direct result of your actions, actions occur as a result of decisions made, and decisions are made based on thoughts. I also agree about smoking and alcohol and heavy fatty foods. I quit smoking about 2 years ago, sometimes I drink on holidays, in this article it is accurately noted that after a tasty fatty bowl it makes me want to take a nap, I am sure that this condition occurs in every person. Sasha, thanks for the article, in addition to blogging, you write great posts, keep it up!

    Hello!

Alexander, I want to buy your book Raw War.

Please tell me how to do it.

    Sincerely

Hi all! Anna Fedorova is in touch! Do you want to learn how to use your time effectively and get more done? These questions are of interest to those who are overwhelmed with a bunch of cases and do not have time to deal with them in time. If you are reading this post, it means that you are familiar with the fact that you have planned some things and in the end - you did not manage to complete your plan to the end. And you think how to do it all?

It's no secret that successful people know how to properly use and organize their time and this is one of the most important elements of success. If you want to achieve something, value your time and do not go with the flow like everyone else, strive for your goals, act. But in order to achieve your goals, you need to be able to rationally use your time, and today's post is dedicated to this.

Be decisive. Instead of driving thoughts in your head and deciding how best to do it and counting all the pros and cons - just start acting. And along the way you will understand that the eyes are afraid, but the hands are doing.

Do you want to know how to get more done? My advice to you - use your time effectively - this will be the first step towards success. Unfortunately, not all people pay their attention to this moment and waste it anywhere. You need to properly manage your time.

How to be more successful? Go according to plan

Plan all your things! A plan is one of the most powerful tools in the life of any successful entrepreneur. Also, one of the main reasons for creating a plan is to save time, which means you can do much more. Prepare a plan and follow it. Try to stick to the plan and then you will be able to do more. Always plan the sequence of tasks and the time required to complete them. Thus, you will know the order of your actions, and move forward in your activities.

There must also be order in your affairs and success in work will be ensured. Thanks to efficient use of your personal time, you will protect yourself from a large number stress. And in the evening, analyze what you did during the day, if you suddenly didn’t have time to do something, try to finish it if possible.

goal setting

To achieve some success, you must know exactly what, when and in what volumes you need to achieve. Goal setting is a necessary attribute of effective time planning. The goal is the end result of your work. All successful people manage to do all their affairs and achieve their goals. The better you plan your actions, the faster you will get the result and achieve your goals.

Organize your workplace

You must have order. Everything on the table should be neat and tidy. All the necessary attributes for work should always be at hand so as not to waste extra time looking for them.

Don't delay

There is no need to put things off until later. Like, "I'll do it later." If you do not do this, then it will also save you from a bunch of accumulated cases.

Do today what you must do tomorrow

Think about what you have to do in the coming days and complete a few of your tasks in advance. Thanks to this, you will exclude situations when many important things fall on your shoulders at once. Many people are not accustomed to planning their time and even more so do not do their business in advance. And they often say something like this: “We'll wait and see”, “We'll see”, “We'll see”, “We still have to live”, etc. So they go with the flow and do not believe in themselves and their strength. And therefore, such people, as a rule, do not achieve the desired results.

How to be more successful? Find time to relax

In my opinion, work without rest is ineffective! You can’t work all the time, rest is very necessary and important. Of course, it’s good to work, but if it takes a lot of strength, nothing good will come of it. Or eventually your endeavors or exhausting work in relation to the Internet business will be in jeopardy.

In any case, you need to know the measure. By the word rest, I do not mean watching movies and computer games, but something that will distract you from all the fuss and surroundings. In your busy schedule, be sure to find a place to relax in nature, maybe combine it with sports.

When you work, do it for no more than half an hour, and then take a five-minute break, after which you continue to work again. After half an hour of work at the computer, the brain gets tired, which leads to a decrease in efficiency. In this five-minute exercise, or switch to something else. Thus, you will be able to do much more than you will sit in front of a monitor with red eyes until you are blue in the face. Proper daily routine is the key to health and success.

Try to lead a healthy lifestyle

I will not draw your attention to this, and read the propaganda, I will only say a few words. TO healthy lifestyle I attribute life to proper nutrition, healthy sleep, no bad habits. Why is it important?

An unhealthy lifestyle leads to fatigue, irritation, poor health, and as a result, laziness and apathy appear.

Smoking and alcohol take a huge amount of time from most people. Improper nutrition is one of the reasons for poor health and unwillingness to work. Sleep deprivation reduces your performance. Do not forget about rest and sleep. Thus, you will improve the quality of work and achieve your goals in a shorter time.

After work is not the time to work

After work, relax, get distracted and do what you like best. Thanks to this, you will enjoy both work and leisure separately and further success in any business.

Do not waste your time and generally try to devote time to improving your knowledge in certain areas in which personal growth is possible. Now is the 21st century and you can listen to educational audio podcasts on your way home.

To want to do something and do more - you need it!

There are people who whine and blame others for their failures. Speaking about the fact that I can’t do it - because there is not enough time, there is no money - because they pay little, etc. Each person is the smith of his own happiness. And if such thinking is present in the head, and there are no goals and desire to change something, then everything will remain so and will not change for the better.

And you need to look for these causes of failure in yourself and strive to correct them. And to reflect already as follows: I will find time and I will be able to make it. I don’t have money because I am doing something wrong or not doing enough for this, but I will work.

Set goals for yourself and achieve whatever happens. I hope you understand that you need to change your thinking. But this is often prevented by people close to you who say that you are doing nonsense, that nothing will work out, etc. Do not waste your energy on persuasion and use your time effectively - do not sit idly by.

Using all of the above things, you will see how the productivity of all your work in the Internet business will increase, and will positively affect all your happy life. Because you will use your time efficiently and get more done.

P.S. Was the article helpful to you? I advise you to subscribe to blog updates and receive new material to your e-mail.

Oh grief! Life has passed and time has flown by

In the darkness of shame, weakness and laziness.

And people found the way to salvation

And they go slowly towards high goals.

Who, if not a student, should save their time?! Time management is the duty of every believer, and for the seeker of knowledge, it is the main concern and the basis of success in his life of learning. And if he manages to use his time correctly and saves it, he will succeed and achieve his goal, and if not, then he will fail and not succeed.

The seeker of knowledge is a merchant, and his capital is time. But the merchant who squanders his capital right and left is stupid and unlucky. Therefore, he should think about what he spends his time on? And let everyone ask himself for every minute, for every second.

Basic principles of time management

The first duty of the seeker of knowledge is to respect his time and his rational use. Our predecessors, may Allah be pleased with them, treated their time most carefully, for they knew its price better than others. Al-Hasan al-Basri said: "I found people who save their time more than you save your dirhams and dinars!"

Therefore, the predecessors tried in every possible way to spend their time in the study of knowledge. ‘Umar ibn “Abdul” Aziz said: “Indeed, day and night every time they take something valuable from you, so work day and night!”

They said: "Time is like a sword: if you do not overcome it, it will overcome you." They always tried to become better, so that today would be better than yesterday, and tomorrow better than today.

Every day, every hour, every moment, they strived to acquire useful knowledge, to do a good deed, to overcome their passions or to benefit someone, so that their labors would not be in vain and would not turn out to be vain and in vain. They considered it a manifestation of ingratitude and irreverence to spend time without any benefit for themselves and others, if they did not increase their knowledge, did not strengthen their faith, and did not do good deeds. Ibn Mas "ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said:" I do not regret anything like the day when the sun went down, life became shorter, and the things I did on that day did not become better.

The seeker of knowledge should save his time, devoting every moment of it to something that will benefit him or teach him something that is needed, try to increase his knowledge every day.

The words of one of the predecessors are transmitted: “If a day comes when I cannot increase my knowledge in order to win the mercy of Allah, then there is no blessing for me that the sun has risen on this day.”

Let every moment for the seeker of knowledge be more precious than any jewels, if people cherish every hour, then the student must cherish every second, every moment. If people compete in accumulating and accumulating wealth, then he should try to be ahead of the times by accumulating useful knowledge. How great is the difference between the accumulation of wealth and the accumulation of knowledge! In a word, if a student manages to fully use his time, he will succeed on the path to knowledge, and may Allah help him!

The student should always endeavor to draw up a detailed plan for his studies and a plan for the memorization of his lessons, and strictly adhere to it.

Time is priceless, because life cannot be reversed. It has its distinctive features, which we need to know well, and based on this, learn how to use it correctly. Here are some of them:

1. Time is fleeting.

2. The time that has already passed cannot be returned or replaced by anything.

3. Time is the most valuable thing a person has. Therefore, the student should not waste his precious time on useless activities, do not abuse what is lawful in terms of eating, drinking, talking, etc.

It is not fitting for one whom Allah has rewarded with knowledge and intelligence to waste his time in disobedience to Allah, to spend it in amusements and idleness. A prudent person will not wish for such a thing for himself, and from this a prudent person will resort to Allah ... Prudence, once again, prudence is necessary for a person in order to understand the full value of his life and spend it only in obedience to Allah Almighty. And will he not wish to make the book his friend, which he will not exchange for any of the people who are ready to become his interlocutor? And this is a huge benefit that reasonable and pure-hearted people know about.

The most serious obstacle for a person, preventing him from enjoying the present moment and today, is delaying and postponing his good deeds. And this continues until the word “I will” almost becomes his motto and way of life.

A man from the tribe "Abd al-Qais was told: "Give us good advice." He replied: "Beware of the word "I will."

The student must fill his day with useful knowledge, good deeds and not put it off until tomorrow, lest his present slip away from him and turn into an irrevocable past. He must sow today in order to reap the fruits tomorrow, otherwise he will have to repent when repentance will no longer help ...

Imam al-Hasan al-Basri said: “Beware of postponing things for later, because you live today, not tomorrow. And if you live to see tomorrow, then spend it the same way as today, and if not, then you won’t have to regret what you missed today.

The seeker of knowledge must take advantage of the days of his youth and its golden times. Wisdom says: "Study time - from the cradle to the grave." It is believed that the most excellent time for studying is the flowering of youth, the time of "suhoor" (dawn time) and the time between two night prayers (i.e. evening and night).

The hadith says:

“On the Day of Resurrection, the servant (of Allah) will not budge until he is asked about four things: about his life - how did he spend it? - and about his youth - how did he spend it? and about his wealth - from where did he get it and what did he spend it on? - and about knowing it - how did he use it?

Thus, he will be asked about his whole life in general and about his early years in particular.

Youth is only a part of life, but it is especially valuable, since these are the years of the flowering of vitality and firm determination, as well as a period of human strength in the interval between two periods of weakness: the weakness of infancy and the weakness of old age. Youth is a time of activity ... youth is a quickly leaving guest, and if man of sense fails to use it, then his heart will be torn with grief.

Therefore, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

(اغتنم خمسا قبل خمس, شبابك قبل هرمك, وصحتك قبل سقمك, وغناك قبل فقرك,وفراغك قبل شغلك, وحيا تك قبل موتك)

“Take advantage of five things before the arrival of five others: your youth to old age, your health to illness, your wealth to poverty, your free time to employment, and your life to death.”(Al-Hakim).

Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “The Great and Powerful Allah gave his slaves knowledge in their youth, and all goodness lies in youth.” Hafsa bint Sirin said: “Young people! Work hard, because it is only in youth that things are done. And were not the companions of the Messenger of Allah, who believed in him, supported him, helped him and followed the light of the religion sent down to him, most of them young?

And he who fails to take advantage of his youth will repent of his old age. One scientist said to one young man: “Work until the time comes when you can’t do it. I want to do a lot today, but I can’t anymore.” Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Study religion while you're young."

Let the seeker of knowledge read the following words - and let them be an example for him. Ibn al-Jawzi said: “I watched people in high positions and saw that most of them lose a lot during their period of greatness. Some of them in their youth wallow in sin, others neglect the search for knowledge, others indulge in excessive pleasures. But in old age they all repent, when the former sins can no longer be corrected, when the strength has dried up, and the merits are forgotten. Their old age passes in sorrow and sadness. If the elder comes to his senses in his former sins, he will say: “How I regret those sins that I committed!”. And if he doesn’t come to his senses, he will begin to regret those delights that he can no longer return.

And the one who devoted his youth to the search for knowledge, in his old age gratefully reaps the fruits of what he has sown, and enjoys writing down the knowledge that he has collected in books. He not only does not consider that he has lost any bodily benefits, but also enjoys the knowledge he has acquired.

Free time and health

The good that many people neglect, do not properly appreciate and do not thank for it, is health and free time. It is reported from the words of Ibn "Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

(نعمتان مغبون فيهما كثير من الناس الصحة والفراغ)

“Many people are deprived of two favors: health and free time”(Al-Bukhari). This means that many people do not use these blessings to do good deeds, but use them to commit sins. Free time should be understood as being unoccupied with worldly affairs and problems that distract a person from his engagement in the affairs of eternal life.

Free time never remains free, it will inevitably be filled with either good or evil. And whoever cannot captivate his soul with righteous deeds, that soul will be captivated by evil deeds. Happy is he who spends his time in good and righteous deeds, and woe to him who spends his time in bad and vicious deeds.

One righteous person said: “Time free from worldly concerns is a great blessing. And if a person shows ingratitude for the benefit rendered to him by giving free rein to his passions and following his desires, then Allah will violate the well-being of his soul and deprive him of that spiritual purity and peace that he had.

In a word, the seeker of knowledge does not waste his life and does not waste a second of his time on matters not connected with knowledge. As necessary, he allocates time for eating, drinking, sleeping, resting after tiring work, performing his duties in relation to family members, a guest, to earn a living, and also breaks away from studies in case of illness or for other reasons that interfere with studies. Some of the predecessors did not stop their studies, even if it happened to them mild illness or malaise. Knowledge was their medicine, and they continued to study as best they could.

Taking advantage of every opportunity

There are many worldly concerns, and our needs in this life are endless, so the seeker of knowledge needs to resort to some tricks in order to rationally use the time to which we do not attach much importance and lose it for the sake of imaginary politeness or out of habit.

a) While eating, while doing housework, as well as in the car, the student can read prayers and adhkars, listen to recordings of the Koran or sermons.

b) He can repeat the Quran or the lesson he has learned as he walks down the street, following the example of our pious scholars. When al-Khatib al-Baghdadi walked along the road, he always read. One of the predecessors, giving advice to his friends, said: “When you leave me, then disperse: perhaps one of you will read the Koran on the way, and if you all go together, you will start talking to each other.”

c) Wherever the student goes, always take a textbook with him. Praise be to Allah, in our time many books are printed in small format, which greatly facilitates this task. The main thing is that the student should have a desire to take advantage of the time that many people simply lose, even many of those who seek knowledge.

Careful attitude of predecessors to time

The seeker of knowledge should constantly become acquainted with how the predecessors used their time, reflect on their way of life whenever he discovers in himself laziness and negligence. How did Ibn Hajar and other scholars like him manage to achieve what they have achieved and do what they have done? Some will say that they were brilliant people, they were accompanied by the help of Allah, and their life was blessed. And this is certainly true. But is a blessing given to a person for no reason? And is it possible to grieve, following in the footsteps of others, instead of striving to deserve better share and change your fate?

The one who is concerned with how to kill time and spend it in any way with benefit or without benefit will never receive the blessings and help of Allah. And if someone asks him for something important, he will apologize and say that he does not have time. How often people complain about the lack of time and the transience of years, but these are only those who waste their time and ruin their lives. And some even admit that they are killing time, but do not suspect that in fact, they are killing their own lives.

The height of aspirations and the greatness of goals encourage a person to value time, since this is his life. And if what one strives for is dear, then it is easy to part with what one sacrifices along the way. Yes, our predecessors were extremely frugal with time and tried not to miss a single second without using it to acquire knowledge. They even regretted the time they spent eating. Al-Khalil said: "The most painful time for me is the time when I eat."

It is reported that Salim ibn Ayyub ar-Razi followed his every breath and never spent time without use: he either copied books, or taught something, or read ... One day he went to his home, and when he returned, he said : “On the way, I read one juz (1/30 part of the Koran)” ... Once his pencil became dull and while he put it in order, he moved his lips. And it was possible to understand what he was reading even when he was just sharpening a pencil, even here not wanting to waste time in vain.

Ibn "Akil said:" I try in every possible way to reduce the time for eating, that I even prefer to eat a cake and drink it with water, because I need to chew it less, and I have more time to read or write down something useful, what else He also said: "I never spend a single minute of my life without use. Even when my tongue is no longer able to learn and discuss anything, and my eyes to read, I think, straining my thoughts, lying down and resting "When I get up, it always comes to my mind what to write. And in my eighty years I feel a greater thirst for knowledge than when I was twenty."

The seeker of knowledge needs a precise and thoughtful system, which he must strictly follow in order to make the most of his time. After all, disorder, carelessness and spontaneity are the biggest enemies of the seeker of knowledge. And no one needs the distribution of their time as much as students, because they have a huge burden of care, and it even seems to them that there are more things to do than they have time to do.

And the seeker of knowledge should allocate his time between obligatory and other matters so that one does not interfere with the other, insignificant matters do not interfere with important ones, important ones with the most important, and those unconditioned by time - limited in time. Urgent tasks should be done first, and non-urgent tasks after. What is limited in time should always be done on time.

1. Drawing up a detailed plan

The student should always endeavor to draw up a detailed plan for his studies and a plan for the memorization of his lessons, and strictly adhere to it. And it does not matter if from time to time he will make changes to it in accordance with new requirements.

In studies, as well as in trade and military campaigns, a person should draw up a plan of work. A student who sets a clear schedule for his day and then sets to work relieves himself of many worries and acquires a significant boost of energy and diligence. In fact, the plan that a person makes for himself and carries out from day to day soon becomes a common and simple thing for him. In other words, when we need to solve several issues, then most likely we will not cope with some of them, because one issue prevents the solution of another, and the solution of each of them prevents us from completely surrendering to the solution of any one of them. Thus, we uselessly pass from one question to another immediately after we have briefly considered it, casually putting aside the solution of each of them ...

A specific place allotted for classes is no less important than a specific time for this. Have the student have a personal desk and chair for intellectual work only. And after a while this place will symbolize a lesson for him.

Many believe that the secret of success lies in a person's accustoming himself to discipline and constant work. One of the great doctors, William Osler, asked a group of students the following question: "How can you make the most efficient use of your talents with the least amount of effort?" Then he himself answered the question: “I can do this by cultivating the spirit of discipline in myself. I say "education" because it will be quite difficult for many of you to accustom yourself to it. There are people who, from birth, have received a mentality predisposed to discipline. But at the same time, there are people with a different mindset who must declare a long war on themselves in order to eradicate the innate predisposition to disorder and carelessness in business ...

This appeal is dedicated in particular to the young, since they are still at the beginning of their life path and the future of each of them depends on the habits that they develop in themselves during this delicate period of life. It is quite easy to observe the usual system in any business, but to introduce it into the routine of your Everyday life not easy. The student should determine for each part of his day an obligatory task to be engaged in at that time, and by exercise and practice develop the ability to concentrate.

As for the detailed presentation of the individual items of the daily routine, everyone determines them for himself. First of all, it is necessary to determine the amount of time that the student is going to devote to studying, but let him not make too “ideal” plans. It will be better if he evaluates his mental abilities in a balanced and fair way, without overestimating himself and not belittling his capabilities. Then you should choose for yourself the time during the day when he would prefer to engage in mental work, being sure that regularly and daily at this time he will have the opportunity to do so. It is also important to choose different times during the day for your studies. This is not bad, provided that the student makes it a habit to consistently study at this time.

In addition, the student needs to determine how much time to devote to each subject and schedule classes in accordance with the time frame. Of course, he will not be able to determine in advance exactly how long it will take him to study each subject or when he expects to start the next lesson, because educational process can't stay that tough. But still, it is better if every day he roughly determines how much time it will take him to do one or another lesson, and draws up a schedule on the basis of which he will build his classes. Thus, the student will get rid of the question of which lesson to start with, and stop worrying about the things that he had to do.

But most students don't know how to manage their time. In fact, knowing in detail how to manage one's time is today's first significant step for students towards a lifestyle based on the most efficient daily schedule...

It is very important to think about the reasons for wasting your time and think carefully about how you can make up for every lost minute.

2. Compliance with the daily routine

The seeker of knowledge should not put off until tomorrow what he has to do today. After all, tomorrow he will have other business and duties that will not allow him to do yesterday's business.

I do not put off tomorrow, succumbing to laziness,

What can I do today

Because tomorrow is the day of the one who is weak and in action

Can't do exactly anything.

If the day passes, then the student will take with him everything that was that day. And if he postpones his business today, then tomorrow he will have to complete the work in two days.

Omar ibn "Abdul" Aziz was told: "Delay it until tomorrow." To which he replied: “It’s hard for me to cope with the affairs of one day, but what will happen if two days of work pile up on me ?!” If the seeker of knowledge always fulfills the duties and deeds that he has set for the day, he will gain peace and fully complete his work.

3. Business should be started early in the morning

In the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) it is said:

(اللهم بارك لامتي فى بكورها)

“O Allah! Bless my ummah in their affairs, which they begin in the early morning!”. Ibn Omar, commenting on the words "they start early in the morning", said: "they come early to study and to the mosque in order to take a seat in the front row."

The first part of the day is a blessed time for the traveler, when he travels great distances. But many seekers of knowledge today miss this opportunity to receive the blessing promised to them after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) uttered the words of prayer (du "a)! Moreover, some of them wake up a few minutes before sunrise, hastily perform morning prayer, then again continue to sleep, as if they had not heard such a hadith!

4. A small deed steadily done is better than a big but fickle one.

The hadith says:

(احب الاعمال الى الله تعالى ادومها وان قل)

“Allah loves most of all those deeds that are done with the greatest constancy, even if they are few.”(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Imam an-Nawawi said: “This hadeeth encourages constancy in deeds, and it also says that a small but steadily done deed is better than a significant but impermanent one ... A small deed that is constantly done brings much more benefit than significant but not permanent.

Therefore, the student needs to allocate his time, both day and night, in accordance with his abilities and conditions, and specifically allocate some part of the time for a certain business, which he will steadily engage in daily, for example, read a certain amount of dhikr and salavat. Allocate the other part of the time for other activities, for example, for the study of religious sciences.

5. Solitude

The seeker of knowledge should sometimes give preference to solitude, because nothing reminds one of eternal life like loneliness ... And a person, walking around the market for some time, under the impression of what he sees, forgets what he knows. Solitude, on the other hand, allows a person to calm the soul, gather strength, think about the consequences and stock up on everything necessary for this.

If we look at those who were able to take advantage of the short moments of their lives and achieve such results and fruits of their labor, which causes surprise and amazement, we will see that they were friends only with hardworking, diligent, outstanding and smart people who valued their time as much as they valued their lives, because time is life.

And friendship with such outstanding, diligent and cherishing every minute and second people had a serious impact on the activities of such famous people like Imam Ibn Jarir at-Tabari, Ibn "Akil al-Hanbali, Ibn" Asakir ad-Dimashki, Ibn al-Qayyim, Ibn an-Nafis, al-Mizzi, al-Dhahabi, Ibn Hajar and other scholars like them who left behind a colossal, invaluable legacy.

Imam Ibn "Akil al-Hanbali said:" In my youth, Allah in every possible way protected me from sins and limited all my love to love of knowledge and its owners. I never communicated with lovers of fun and was friends only with the same students as myself " The one who is devoted to knowledge, who is accompanied by the help of Allah and who strives for the sublime, you can only see in the company of meritorious, diligent, wise, intelligent and knowledgeable people. him to become like them, or at least like them.

Friendship with such people will teach the seeker of knowledge to be ahead of time, and friendship with bad people will teach him to lose it fruitlessly. Abdullah ibn Mas "ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "A person is judged by his friend, because he takes as his friend only his like." And may Allah save us from friendship with bad people.

6. Mental rest and peace

The seeker of knowledge spends all his time studying, but from time to time he needs rest so that later he will not be forced to interrupt all his studies. After all, the human soul does not tolerate monotony. Abdallah ibn Mas "ud said: "Truly, the human soul has aspiration and enthusiasm. But it is also characterized by lethargy and lack of interest. Get down to business when the soul is striving, and let it rest when interest is lost."

Time should be distributed in such a way that there is also time for rest, because after a long work, the soul of a person begins to feel disgust for it, and gets tired just like the body gets tired. "Ali said: "... and it is not proper for a Muslim to burden himself so much that it takes away his strength and prevents him from continuing what he was doing."

At the same time, the student should not overburden himself, so that he does not have a feeling of fatigue and disgust. And, perhaps, he will hate studying and will no longer be able to overcome himself. Let him be moderate in such matters. Every person knows himself better.

However, the rest of the seeker of knowledge is different from the rest of other people, because at any time he tries to acquire some benefit:

a) some predecessors used breaks during the lessons in which they recited hadith to pronounce the words of remembrance of the Great and Mighty Allah (dhikr). Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi, talking about the rules of conduct of a muhaddith (a person telling hadith; an expert and transmitter of hadith), said: “When he stops telling hadith during the Majlis, while resting, he pronounces the words of remembrance of Allah Almighty. So did many the greatest people from the predecessors.

b) If a student is tired of studying one subject, then he should take up the study of another, because this is better than stopping classes altogether. You can move from one form of occupation to another in order to change the type of activity.

The soul that is tired is not capable of anything,

And you change its state from one to another.

c) Every time a student feels a surge of energy, he should study the lessons. And the study of stories, biographies and stories from the life of predecessors, reading wise sayings and poems can be postponed for another time, when he feels tired in himself, and you should choose useful verses, such as verses praising our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him ), poetic collections of Divan ash-Shafi" and Divan Abu al-" Atahiya and other poets who glorified abstinence and detachment (zuhd).
