How to develop inner vision. The development of astral vision - exercises. Arrow exercise

Every day a person is faced with situations in which it is necessary to make a choice. And it is not always easy - today you need to decide where to turn, and tomorrow you need to figure out what kind of housing to buy, whom to marry, where to work. There is a strong opinion in society that only the elite are lucky in such matters. However, if you properly train your intuition, then you can catch luck by the tail and "mere mortals."

Definition

What is the sixth sense? Intuition is, first of all, human experience. The confirmations he has on a particular issue, which were received during his life, enter the unconscious memory. And in the right situation, this knowledge can become relevant. When a person repeatedly encounters a phenomenon same character, such experience is consolidated in the subconscious, becomes intuitive.

Intuition - what is it, and how does its mechanism work? This question has interested researchers of all times. Translated from Latin the word means "gaze at." And in Russian, the word “flair” is closer to this concept, which is more associated with scent than with vision. In this regard, we can recall the fact that one of the oldest parts human brain is the olfactory brain. Thus, intuition is an archaic way of perceiving the world.

Other views on the phenomenon of inner instinct

One can also give such a definition to inner instinct: intuition is knowledge that has been forgotten by a person, passed by his attention. Everything that a person does not want to consciously remember turns into intuitive knowledge. In other words, the subconscious is a true friend to whom you can turn in any difficult situation. Everything that a person did not want to remember consciously, eventually turned into his experience. Intuition is the result of collecting information that a person, realizing it or not, has been doing throughout his life. Such information can be both visual and auditory, sensual, verbal.

We may not remember specific events that took place sometime in the past. However, this knowledge is still accessible to the sixth sense. Therefore, most definitions of intuition in psychology appeal to the unconscious. For example, certain words and facial expressions of a person preceded deception. Consciousness did not remember such information. However, she was deposited in the unconscious. And in the next similar situation, the instinct will suggest that our next counterpart is a deceiver.

Another name for the sixth sense is intuition, and it is quite reasonable. Indeed, in the course of his life, a person uses the information that enters the brain through five channels of perception. However, intuition does not have an "organ" as such. Conventionally, it is "located" in the unconscious structures of the mind. Therefore, intuition can be attributed to the functions of the brain.

intuition as insight

The concept of intuition in psychology is rather associated with such terms as "insight", or "epiphany". In such a state, a person is able to solve the most difficult task, on which he could unsuccessfully work for months and years. A way out of an intractable situation is born. The fact is that conscious thinking accounts for only 5% of human mental activity. The remaining 95% occurs in the unconscious. Thus, it is it that does a gigantic job of understanding the situation. The result that a person receives with the help of intuition is like a lightning flash. That is why many researchers consider insight or insight to be the best names for intuition.

Is there a female intuition?

Research shows that intuition is a feeling equally shared by both sexes. Society is constantly trying to separate the feminine from the masculine. Even despite the fact that the very wording of such a question can be called into question. If a man achieves success, then most often this is attributed to his leadership qualities, effective activities. As for women, their achievements are often attributed to the notorious sixth sense.

However, recent research by scientists has debunked this myth. The University of Hetfordshire conducted a survey among about 15 thousand subjects of both sexes. The conclusion was unequivocal: female intuition is a myth invented by society. The meaning of the experiment of scientists was that the participants were asked to evaluate whether the smile of people in the photographs is sincere or artificial. Before starting the experiment, 80% of beautiful ladies and 58% of men stated that they had excellent flair. But the results of the study showed that there is no significant difference between them.

Developed intuition was found in 72% of men and 71% of women. Thus, both sexes have the same access to their life experiences. The only question is how often the stronger sex uses his instinct - perhaps it was the rare use of it by men that led to the emergence of the described myth.

Intuition Test

Questionnaires and tests can be a very useful tool for self-knowledge. During the next test, you can find out if your intuition is developed. How to test your sixth sense with a similar test? To do this, you need to look at the following image of two women and a child, and determine which of them is his mother. The answer will be given at the end of the article. You can think about the answer and analyze as much as you like.

What hinders the development of the sixth sense?

Among those who are interested in the methods of developing intuition, a reasonable question often arises, why can it be silent? If the sixth sense stubbornly refuses to help in life situations should look at the following aspects:

Exercise "Elevator"

There are a huge number of different exercises that allow you to develop intuition. For example, a technique called "Elevator" is popular. To perform it, you first need to imagine in as much detail as possible that our body is immersed in something pleasant, causing positive emotions. For some it will be a strawberry smoothie, for others it will be freshly squeezed mango juice.

After that, it is necessary to fantasize on a less pleasant topic - to imagine that the body is immersed in something that, on the contrary, does not cause pleasure. For example, milk foam, or cooled pasta. You need to remember your feelings, fix them in your heart in as much detail as possible. Later, when certain choices need to be made, they can be recalled from memory. What sensations does this or that option evoke? What do we feel when we think about this topic: how does our body sink into a nasty milk foam or into a strawberry smoothie?

Using this exercise on an ongoing basis, you can significantly develop your intuition.

More Ways to Develop Intuition

Not everyone has an excellent sense of smell. However, everyone has a chance to develop an inner instinct. This can be done using several methods.

  • Establish contact with the left (“intuitive”) hemisphere. From childhood, we are taught to make decisions based on logic. However, often only an inner instinct can offer the right options. It can be developed if not only the right hemisphere, but also the left hemisphere is involved in solving everyday problems. This can be done if you perform familiar, everyday tasks with the other hand, for example, brush your teeth, write.
  • Exercise "Guess which hand the coin is in." You need a partner to do it. It is necessary to ask him to hold a coin in his fist, and then determine its location. A similar action is performed 10-15 times. Then it is necessary to analyze - what sensations in the body arose before the correct and incorrect answers?
  • Find the answer in a dream. To use this method, you need to make a habit - in the evening, before going to bed, ask your unconscious question of interest. Place a piece of paper and a pen next to the bed. After waking up, you should immediately remember the question of interest. The answer can be provided by the unconscious in the form of a metaphor, or in plain text.
  • "Who is there?". You need to put an anti-identifier on the phone. Whenever a call comes in, you should try to understand who is calling. In a few days, positive changes in intuitive perception will already be outlined.
  • Recognize body signals. It is believed that about 80% of all information operated by intuition comes with the help of the body. And therefore, when a person learns to recognize his feelings, his instinct makes a significant leap in his development. It is not for nothing that we say that "the legs do not carry there", "I feel that it is better to stay here", "this person is somehow unpleasant", etc. You can start with simple things, for example, listen to physical sensations when you need to enter to a new premises. First, you can pay attention to whether it has become more comfortable or, on the contrary, there is a desire to leave. Then you can move on to the analysis of specific physical experiences. Body signals always tell a person whether the space they are in is safe or not.

Answer to the test

Are you ready to find out the answer to the test?

If the woman on the right was chosen, it means that the wrong choice was made. 70% of those surveyed in this test of intuition offer this answer. He says that you have excellent creative abilities. The man who chose the woman on the right is distinguished by his non-standard view of things. Friends usually listen to him, as there is a lot of wisdom in his words. He can be called a mature and purposeful person.

Only 30% of respondents choose the woman on the left. Such a choice suggests that a person does not succumb to difficulties and always tries to find the best solution to a problem. The woman on the right sits with straightened legs - and by this she, as it were, demonstrates a protective position. Also, the child is turned towards the mother. The two described signs can be seen in the picture.

Conclusion

Intuition is a gift that allows you to solve many problems on life path person. It covers almost all spheres of existence. After all, consciousness and the unconscious mind are almost constantly in a state of interaction. It is the instinct that is the support and assistant of the human mind. By regularly applying exercises to develop intuition, one can learn to use this precious gift. And then the answers to many life questions will become obvious.

Whether to trust intuition, everyone decides for himself. Many of those who have learned to use this tool are surprised at how useful it can bring in life. With the help of inner instinct, you can make decisions regarding professional path, the quality of your diet, get rid of unnecessary habits and painful doubts.

It is necessary to sit comfortably so that nothing distracts, look at yourself from the outside, concentrate, look inside yourself and repeat the self-hypnosis phrase without any sense:

“Open your third eye.”

Repeat, repeat and repeat.

Focus on the image of the one you need, on the face, on the figure, on the clothes. Reset intuition and get in touch with the information field. Select the desired paniformation from it.

There will come a moment - and an unknown nerve highlights in the brain, as on a screen, what you need to see.

At the same time, one should not express any emotions, observing dispassionately, without interference, shouting, without boasting, without calculations and mathematical calculations (“sit and watch”), watch everything CALMLY.

Often the event seen with the third eye has already happened. It cannot be canceled, that is, when communicating with the pan-information of the system, which gives absolutely reliable information, you must remember: what you saw has already happened to you and to other people whose fates intersected with yours. If someone hopes to avoid the inevitable, others will not allow it.

Lie on your back and rotate your eyes clockwise with open eyes. Make a full circle, as if you were looking at a huge clock, but do it as quickly as possible. Your mouth should be open and relaxed. Thus? concentrated energy is directed to the "third eye".

Second technique

Third Eye Concentration

1. This technique is convenient to practice throughout the day. For example, when you just walk down the street or go to work in transport.

2. In order to practice this technique - concentrate in the area between the eyebrows and a little deeper

3. Concentrate whenever possible. There should be some pleasant pressure in the area between the eyebrows.

4. Increase that pressure. Try to feel as if you are looking from the center of your head through the area between the eyebrows.

Third technique

The body should be in a state so relaxed that you can forget about it; that's the whole point. If you can forget about the body, then the posture is correct. Thus, any posture in which you can somehow forget about the body is correct. Just be comfortable, as comfortable as possible.

And drop the old traditional idea that in order to meditate, you have to be uncomfortable in one way or another. It's stupid, just stupid. For three minutes, massage the area of the third eye, the space between the two eyebrows: bring your palm to your forehead so that the bottom of your hand is opposite the area between the eyebrows, and massage from the bottom up, very slowly, very softly and very lovingly.

The inner feeling should be as if you are trying to open a window. The third eye is the window and this massage will help. If after three minutes you feel that this has not affected your energy in any way, start massaging in a circular manner, in a clockwise direction. There are two types of people. For some people, the third eye opens with an upward movement, and for some it opens with an upward movement. Most people are fine with bottom-up movement, so try it first.

And then you need to literally visualize a small point of light between the two eyebrows, in the center of the third eye. To feel it, you can place a bindi there - a small decoration that Indian women wear in the third eye area, or put a small white, transparent quartz stone (what is). You can put it on to feel where this point is. Then close your eyes and look at that point of light. Imagine something burning, like a star, and look up without raising your head.

In fact, this particular point is not important, the whole point is for the eyes to look up. When the eyes look up, the body comes to rest. This is what happens when you fall asleep deeply. The same position of the eyes helps in meditation. Thus, it is only a means to help the eyes look up.

Point your eyes up - and if you sit in a chair, this one will be easier than sitting on the floor. Don't cross your legs; let both feet just rest on the floor. And never set an alarm. You can put a clock nearby, and when you feel like it, just open your eyes, look at the clock and close again; it won't bother you at all. But never set an alarm and never ask anyone to knock on the door in sixty minutes, because that will be a shock and the whole system will feel uneasy.

Let it last an hour. If you can do it twice, so much the better, it's very good. If that much time is hard to find, do it only once a day, but continue for at least an hour: the longer the better.

Fourth technique

1. Close your eyes and turn your attention to the area of the third eye. Imagine an open Blue colour ok or open funnel

2. You can imagine an open flower and stimulate the chakra through the energy channel in the region of the spine

3. Can be presented as an open flower and stimulated with energy

4. You can simply stimulate the area of the third eye with energy. We direct energy through the hands to the area of the third eye.

Effect - in the area of the third eye, there may be burning, tingling, slight itching, breeze, pressure. With a high concentration of energy, there may be pressure on the third eye chakra and a migraine-like condition.

Fifth technique

We put a lit candle in front of us, the room should be illuminated only by it. Look at the flame of the candle, trying not to blink. When you want to blink, close your eyes and look at the flame, trying to see the colors of which it is composed, here is a bright blue, bright yellow, red, green, and so on, as much as you can see. Close your eyes again and look at the flame remaining on the retina. So a few minutes.

Learning to see the ether

Ethereal vision is the most First stage visions. Those of you who can see the ether, but do not yet master the astral and other stages of vision, can practice with everyone, this will only be useful. Perform in the dark. Sit or lie down, relax, if possible, clear the mind of thoughts. Stretch your hand in front of you, fingers slightly apart, look at your hand. But in such a way, as if looking through your fingers.

Look like this for several minutes, trying to see a glow around the fingers. Try blinking less than usual. We relax and look through our fingers, trying to cover a little space directly near the fingers.

Thus, you adjust your third eye, bring it into focus. For some, it works faster if you focus on only one finger, and not on all at once. We chose, for example, the index finger, we look at it from a distance of 30-40 centimeters from the eyes, we look as if through the finger, trying to catch the change in the glow around the finger. Usually, after such training, everyone begins to see ethereal energy. The next step is to develop the ability.

Sixth technique

Learning to see the glow around the head

To work, you will need any object of red color. For example, your favorite mug, book, or any red object, it is desirable that its size be at least 10 by 10 centimeters, and a white sheet of paper, such as a landscape sheet. We put the red object in front of us on the table.

We sit down and look at it for a few minutes. Then we sharply remove the object and look at the white sheet of paper. You will see a green glow in the shape of your item. This is his astral color.

What can geniuses do?

Robert Dilts

Physicist and inventor Nikola Tesla (1856--1943) has been called "the genius who ushered in the age of electricity." He is undeniably one of the most creative and significant inventors of the last century and one of the most prolific. His 700 inventions include electromagnetic motor, turbine, wireless transmission devices and remote control. His discovery of the rotating magnetic field in the late 1800s is the basis for the use alternating current which made possible the transmission of electricity throughout the globe. It was Tesla who designed the first power plant at Niagara Falls (his system was preferred to Thomas Edison's direct current system). He was known as a visionary futurist, and his notebooks are still studied by scientists and engineers, as a number of his ideas and principles are still ahead of modern technologies*.

Like the genius of Leonardo, Tesla's genius lies in his ability to discover hidden, invisible principles or deep structures in nature, and then to apply these principles in practice, in his inventions. Using NLP psychological modeling tools, we discover some of the key cognitive processes behind his impressive creativity. In this way, we can understand some of the invisible mental strategies that Tesla used to make his discoveries and inventions.

Tesla is said to have actually figured out how to generate electricity from the Earth's magnetic field (thus creating a free and limitless source of electricity). However, after demonstrating his work, he refused to reveal the secret and took it with him to his grave.

FORESIGHTING THE FUTURE

As it turned out, Tesla himself could tell a lot about his own thought process. In an interview he was interviewed in 1919, Tesla gives some wonderful information that sheds light on the development of his creative thought processes.

“As a child, I suffered from an unusual disorder associated with the appearance of images, often accompanied by flashes of light, which distorted the appearance of real objects and intruded into my thoughts and actions. These were images of objects, scenes that I had already seen, and never of what When I was told something, the image of the object denoted by this word would vividly appear before my eyes, and sometimes I could not distinguish whether there was something in front of me that I simply saw, or it could be touched. I have a lot of discomfort and anxiety...

To give you an idea of my grief, imagine that I saw a funeral or some other heartbreaking thing. Then, inevitably, in the stillness of the night, a vivid picture of the scene appeared before me and remained before my eyes, despite all efforts to remove it. Sometimes she continued to remain in space, although I could pierce her with my hand "(Nikola Tesla. My inventions).

Obviously, Tesla describes his very pronounced early age and a powerful ability to visualize. He emphasizes that these images "were pictures of objects and scenes that he had already seen, and never of what he imagined." The term "eidetic imagination" is used for remembered internal images that have the property of being so alive that they seem completely real. This type of visual imagination is often associated with the right, non-dominant hemisphere of the brain.

Although the plausibility of Tesla's images seems remarkable, very often children are frightened by images and internal pictures that they cannot control, and also often have difficulty distinguishing external reality from their internal experience. Most children, however, eventually learn to suppress or reduce the degree of liveliness as they grow up and thus "handle reality" more effectively. Tesla apparently learned to deal with this problem in a different way:

"In order to free myself from these painful phenomena, I tried to concentrate my mind on something else that I saw, and thus achieved temporary relief; but in order to get it, I had to constantly conjure up new images in my imagination. And soon I found that the store of those images at my disposal had dried up, my source, so to speak, dried up, because I saw little of the world, I observed only objects in the house and in my immediate environment. When I did these mental exercises in the second or a third time, in order to banish the terrible images from my imagination, this medicine gradually lost its power.

Then I instinctively began to make imaginary excursions beyond that small world who knew and began to see new scenes. They were at first misty and hard to see, and flew away as soon as I concentrated my attention on them, but gradually I learned to hold them; they intensified and finally acquired the clarity of real things. I soon found that I got the most peace of mind when I simply followed my imagination further and further, getting new impressions all the time; and so I began to travel, of course, in thought. Every night (and sometimes during the day), being alone, I began my travels; I saw new places, cities and countries, lived there, met people and made friends and acquaintances, and, no matter how incredible it seemed, they were as dear to me as people from real life, and their manifestations were no less intense. "(Nikola Tesla. My inventions).

Tesla describes how, instead of turning off the visualization process, he learned to consciously direct his ability to visualize by "instinctively" applying the process of adjustment and guidance. Instead of trying to suppress disturbing images, Tesla tried to direct his internal images to "something else." He tells how he was able to develop the skill of constructing images in his mind's eye and "seeing new scenes" that go "beyond the small world" that he was familiar with. All this allowed Tesla to shift his attention from disturbing recalled images (Vr) to constructed ones (Vc). Tesla indicated that it took him time to develop this skill. He mentioned that the constructed images "were at first very hazy and difficult to see and flew away when I tried to concentrate my attention on them, but gradually I learned to hold them; they intensified and finally acquired the clarity of real things."

The important point in this remark is that Tesla almost consciously learned to use another part of his brain. (In the NLP model, constructed images are usually associated with the left, dominant hemisphere of the brain.) Tesla seems to have developed his ability to dream waking to a very high degree; those internal images that he observed are very similar to what is called "positive hallucinations" in hypnosis. The fact that those whom he saw in his fantasies "were as dear as people in real life" proves that certain feelings must have been associated with these visual fantasies. This close connection between images and feelings may have played an important role in shaping his later developed ability to see concrete inventions in these "waking dreams".

Conquest of inner vision. Development of foresight

It is interesting to note that Tesla's descriptions of his ability to fantasize are very reminiscent of the same ability of another famous scientist and genius, Albert Einstein, who said that he always thought in images, and not in words or mathematical formulas. Einstein claimed that the theory of relativity grew out of his teenage fantasy when he tried to visualize what reality would be like if "he was riding at the end of a light beam."

Tesla's attempts to control internal images led to the development of another important aspect of his creative strategy.

"My initial anxiety, however, was somewhat compensated. Continuous mental effort developed my powers of observation and made it possible to discover a very important truth. I noticed that the appearance of images was usually preceded by a real vision of scenes under unusual or exceptional circumstances, and in each individual case they impelled me to discover the original impulse. After a while this effort became almost automatic, and I learned to connect cause and effect very easily. I soon realized, to my greatest surprise, that every thought that occurred to me was caused by some impression from outside. Not only this, but all my actions were directed in a similar way. (Nikola Tesla. My inventions).

Learning to track your mental processes back with respect to external events(Ve<->Vi), Tesla could establish an invaluable practical connection between his thoughts and reality. This connection, no doubt, kept his incredible imagination from becoming just a form of "going away." On the contrary, this connection gave him the opportunity to turn his own science fiction into inventions that transformed the world.

Tesla's preoccupation with his inner images also led him to develop to a high degree what might be called "metaknowledge". As a result of his observations of how his own brain received, processed and reacted to "external impressions", Tesla formed the idea of a machine that could do the same. He was the first person to come up with and understand what we now call "robotics". Think of his visionary description of "self-governing automata" that would "behave as if they were sentient" and "bring a revolution in many branches of commerce and industry."

“Over time, it became quite clear to me that I was just an automaton endowed with the ability to move, an automaton responding to the stimuli of my senses and thinking and acting accordingly. The practical result of this was the art of teleautomation, which until now was performed in a very imperfect way. However sooner or later, its hidden possibilities will be proven. For many years I have been planning the creation of self-governing automata, and I believe that it is possible to make such mechanisms that, to some extent, will behave as if they have a mind, and will cause a revolution in many branches of trade and production. (Nikola Tesla. My inventions).

It was Tesla's ability to connect his mental processes and internal maps to physical reality, along with his extensive practice of stabilizing and enhancing constructed images, that led him to inventive successes in his mature years. He explained it this way:

“I was about seventeen years old when I began to think seriously about inventions. Then, to my great delight, I noticed that I could visualize very easily. I didn’t need models, drawings or experiments. I could draw them in my mind. So , unconsciously I came to develop new method materialization of inventive ideas and concepts, completely opposite to the purely experimental and, in my opinion, just as fast and effective. The moment one constructs a device for testing a crude idea in practice, one inevitably finds oneself mired in the details and defects of such an apparatus. As he improves and reconstructs it, his ability to concentrate diminishes and he loses the idea of the principle behind it. Results can be achieved, but always at the expense of quality.

My method is different. I'm in no hurry to start practical work. When I have an idea, I immediately start building a device in my imagination. I am redesigning, making improvements, and in my brain I put this device into action. And it makes absolutely no difference to me whether I run my turbine in my mind or test it in my workshop. I can even notice that its balance has been disturbed. However, there is no difference in the results. So I quickly develop new concept and I can perfect it without touching anything. And as soon as I get to the stage where I have made every possible improvement that I can think of in the invention, and when I no longer see any flaws anywhere, only then do I embody the product of my imagination in a concrete form. My device will invariably work as I expected, and the result of the experiment always turns out the way I planned it. In twenty years I have not had a single exception. Why should it be different? engineering work, electrical and mechanical, brought positive results. There are almost no problems that cannot be mathematically processed and whose results cannot be calculated or determined in advance on the basis of available theoretical and practical data. I affirm that putting into practice a crude idea, as is usually done, is nothing but a waste of energy, money and time. "(Nikola Tesla. My inventions).

Tesla's strategy bears a striking resemblance to the strategy described by Mozart, who claimed that he first composed the music in his head, and then, when it was ready, simply "rewrote" it on paper (see The Strategies of Geniuses, Volume 1). Mozart wrote that he saw music with his mind's eye in such a way that it was almost complete and finished in my brain, so that I could consider it as a beautiful picture or statue ... Therefore, transferring to paper occurs quite quickly, because, as I already said, by this point everything is already finished; and what is written on paper very rarely differs from what was in my imagination. "(E. Holmes. Life of Mozart, including his correspondence).

On the other hand, Tesla's strategy for inventing differed in many ways from that of his contemporary and former colleague, Thomas Edison, whose methods Tesla is probably referring to in his criticism. Edison, who claimed that "invention is 1% inspiration and 99% sweat", sought to immediately translate his ideas into material forms and to work with them. Edison, for example, spent a full fourteen months testing various materials in order to find the one that would be best for the filament in the light bulb. Tesla referred to Edison's trial and error approach as "finding a needle in a haystack" and eventually became his main rival. While both strategies were apparently effective, Tesla's internal visualization strategy probably enabled him to work more effectively with intangible things (such as magnetic fields) that are beyond the reach of our direct sensory perception and therefore beyond our ability to physically interact with them.

The entire previous chapter has prepared us for the main key that opens the magic door to the mighty pantry of our body - to the right hemisphere. It is this, as modern research has shown, that is responsible for creative thinking for creativity, intuition and imagination. It is also responsible for our vision, for visual perception is not only a cognitive process, it develops, first of all, our imaginative thinking, memory and ability to visualize.

That is why the right hemisphere is especially well awakened, and, accordingly, the creative potential of associates when they begin to work with images. The fact is that in the course of classes, each student comes up with images for himself that correspond to his main goal, dream, favorite plant, animal and ideal idea of himself. These images are then used by the comrades-in-arms in palming and in their diary self-tunings.

Awakening of the right hemisphere

Already for the second lesson, course participants come with prepared images that reflect their ideal idea of themselves. The day before, I explain to them in some detail why they need to search for an image, how important it is to find a bright picture to present themselves as a kind of standard that they want to imitate.

I am convinced that as long as we consider ourselves sick and keep such a flawed self-image in our minds, no exercises and skills will help achieve our cherished dream. That is why it is so important to first formulate a goal (for example, excellent vision), then think about what you associate it with (eagle eyes, panther vision, clear spring water, a bright flower, etc.), and then choose the most suitable one. image and describe it orally and in writing.

Below I will demonstrate several examples of descriptions of my image, related to the goal set by the students in the course of our classes. Just do not think that the authors of these diaries are some unusual, brilliant people. All of them at first were unaware of their hidden creativity! However, the very presentation of images, and especially the inclusion of the right and left hands in the work, awakens the imagination of people so much that even the most unromantic listeners begin to surprise themselves and everyone around them with their poetic revelations.

Try to awaken your right hemisphere and you to discover a storehouse of dormant talents. I assure you, it is possible for everyone!

Let's start, perhaps, with a description of the image of Tatyana Stepanova. I note that Tatyana, despite her young age, had serious eye diseases that prevented her from seeing the world clear and clean. The image of the lake helped her get rid of the veil before her eyes and ensure that her eyes ceased to inflame, redden and hurt.

My image is a transparent clean lake. I imagine my eyes as two large, deep, clear transparent lakes. I love my eyes! My precious eyes see as well and clearly as a ray of the sun shines through the depths of blue waters and illuminates the bottom of the lake. My eyes are happy and shining brighter than the sun!

Many listeners take images of various flowers and plants. It would seem, what is the connection with the eyes? However, our listeners splendidly associate the brightness and strength of trees with the strength and endurance of their eyes. Here, for example, how well Natalya Khoma beat her image.

My image is rowan. Rowan - very beautiful tree at all times of the year. In spring and summer, beautiful leaves, white inflorescences bloom, in autumn and winter - red clusters of berries of all shades of scarlet.

Rowan is also a useful, healing tree for people and birds. It caresses the eyes and heals the soul of a person. The beauty rowan is visible from afar. Its beautifully carved green leaves and red clusters of berries always attract attention. This tree is wealth, beauty, love.

I want to have the same wealth - material and spiritual. I want to have love and I want my eyes to be as bright, sharp-sighted, radiant, beautiful, so that they can see as far as this beautiful tree - mountain ash can be seen from afar.

And Fedorova Lyudmila took on a completely unexpected image and also wonderfully beat him.

Bamboo - a randomly selected image, turned out to be really mine. He harmoniously entered me, became me, and I became him.

Amazing plant! Unbending bamboo stubbornly breaks through the grass, reeds, jungle up - to the sky, to the sun, where there is no shadow, no darkness, in a clear transparent blue. Here everything is light and bright, everything shimmers with all the colors of the rainbow. Here, nothing obscures the sun, which gives us the joy of seeing. “From the darkness to the sun” is our motto!

There are no barriers to your vision if you were able to overcome yourself and see the world as it was created - beautiful and unique.

It is very good to use the images of plants in development, as Olga Prikhodko did, who took the image of a lily bud.

My image is a pink lily bud. It is still small, because I myself am only on the way to improving my health and vision. I'm ready to unfold and reach for the sunlight. The sun will energize me and give strength to my eyes!

So she wrote in her first diary. The next time she began to describe how her bud began to bloom.

Every day my bud blossoms, reaches for the sun, comes to life. My eyes are pleased with everything that blooms around, wakes up and smiles. My bud is getting stronger, stronger and more powerful.

Eyes absorb the brightest juicy colors of the world around. The sun and warm air saturate my bud, and it becomes stronger and more beautiful every day. My eyes are also filled with strength and energy. They radiate warmth, goodness and light.

I see everything brightly and very clearly. And I myself become strong, healthy, radiant. I love myself and am glad that I can see so well! I am the most vigilant, beautiful, slim, healthy, calm and happy.

In the process of classes, students should continue to work with their image, developing it simultaneously with the changes that occur with the person himself, with his inner world. Another striking example of the creative study of the image in development is the diaries of Tatyana Sofronova, who daily improved her image of a reed.

THE FIRST DAY

I sincerely accept the image of a reed. He likes me. Weak but strong, flexible but resilient, I can stand the wind without breaking from the weight. I can bow with reverence and reach out to the most cherished planned heights, and if necessary, I will tie myself in a knot. And I will become a bridge to the world healthy lifestyle life for my family!

SECOND DAY

The reed grows stronger and matures. She grows more and more steadily into the ground and tenaciously clings to a support. She does not care about wind and storms. She is a child of nature and draws her strength from her. She trusts Mother Earth, Sun, Water. They made her what nature and the Creator intended for her. And at any age, she is harmonious and beautiful, original and self-sufficient.

DAY THREE

Today, Reed has received the powerful energy of water and has become more selective in choosing nutritious juices for itself. Now dormant buds are ready to bloom for the joy of others and for their own benefit. The reed feels what a powerful energy of new life is contained in it and is ready for change. Good time!

DAY FOUR

Funny sunlight gives the reed and my eyes the joy of revitalization and awakening, and the darkness of the night brings peace, peace and relaxation.

DAY FIVE

Tomorrow my eyes will be looking for a mirror to admire their radiance and beauty. They will wait for a new meeting with water and the sun, and after gymnastics and massage they will experience endorphin joy and respond to attention with faithful and devoted service to their mistress - a reed.

Directly connected with the eyes is the image of an arrow, to which our colleague Tatyana Pukhova dedicated the poem “Arrow Flight”.

I fly with an arrow with a mark,
I definitely love flying.
Palming will give me health,
He will lead me to my goal.

"My eyes are healthy again!" -
I signal to my subconscious.
The program went healing -
The Lord gave me energy!

Hours of my solar life
I'll lead you for a thousand years
And the years are a stubborn arrow
I will go around many more times!

Our comrades-in-arms actively play with water images, especially those associated with sea or spring associations. Leaving unused a huge pile of sheets with descriptions of the most interesting water images, I want to give an extract from the diary of Natalya Petrova.

I am Natalya - wave. I am gentle and affectionate. I am strong and brave. I can delight and scare. I am free and infinite. I can see the smallest and farthest star in the night sky. I sparkle and shimmer in the sun. I can make any pebble round. For me, as well as for my precious eyes, there are no barriers and boundaries!

And, of course, the images of the sun, sky, rainbow are endlessly used ... After all, light is an indispensable condition for good vision, and the sky is as bottomless as our eyes. Savostin Roman reflected this very well in his diary.

My image is the sky. The sky is purity and immensity. The sky is crystal clear and transparent. When I look at the sky, I imagine that I am watching this world from the height of heaven. My eyes are clear, unclouded. From a height, I see everything and everyone, all the little things and details.

Then I shift my gaze to the rising sun. I see how the first ray of the sun appears from behind the horizon, how it makes its way. I feel the rising sun fill the sky and my eyes with warmth and light. The eyes are filled with life-giving solar energy.

My eyes are gradually clearing up, they resemble clean air - transparent and light. I imagine myself flying through the sky, like a light breeze, towards the sun, its all-reviving power. I'm flying to a new life, to new healthy eyes!

Not just an image, but a whole affirmation is given to all her associates at the end of the diary by Anna Filimonova.

I am a rainbow! A beautiful rainbow shimmering with all its colors! I see everything - both in heaven and on earth. My arc is so big that it covers everything around - the forest, and the sea, and animals, and people, whom I can see very well. I see how their faces and eyes become joyful and happy when they see me. And I can see all this from any distance - both close and far.

I am a rainbow! I am a child of the sun and water. All colors are harmoniously combined in me: blue, and purple, and red, and blue, and yellow, and orange, and green. They make me and I make them. I love all my colors!

I give my eyes a pool of red, in which they bathe and recharge with energy and health. I immerse my eyes in a bottomless container of blue, and they are filled with strength and purity. I give my eyes a break on a neutral gray background and see how the eyes radiate excesses of this or that color on it.

I give to all visually impaired people new phrase: "Every Bespectacled Man Wants to See With Their Eyes Fantastically."

Briefly, but succinctly describes the image of the sun Plakotina Anna.

I am the sun, clear and warm. My rays glide over every blade of grass, every flower, penetrate into the most secret and dark places. Likewise, my gaze, sharp and vigilant, penetrates everywhere and everywhere, and no details can escape it.

Well, the most popular images that our listeners use are associated with birds. Who, if not they, are the standard of keen vision! Here, for example, is the image of Nina Davydenko.

There is no more beautiful and perfect bird than a swallow. How easily and high it flies, rushing up into the pure blue sky! How precise and swift are her movements! So my eyes see easily and far, just as accurately and quickly perceiving all the details and shades of the world around me.

And Ermolaeva Tatyana unexpectedly compares herself with a night bird.

My eyes are the eyes of an owl
They are mysterious, round...
We even have the same eye color.
Reincarnation, perhaps?

I also love the darkness of the night,
But I yearn for vigilance.
To you, Owl, I give an order:
Grant me a sharp eye!

The images of eagles, falcons, golden eagles and hawks are so obvious that I will not even give here numerous examples of playing with these bird images.

I will give only examples of how you can work with images of various animals. The most common and beloved by many image is described in his diary by Gerasimlyuk Lyudmila.

I am a cat, white and fluffy, tender and playful, vigilant and independent. I see as well as a graceful big-eyed cat sees. My eyes are strong and sharp. They radiate joy, health, strength and tranquility. And I, Lyuda the cat, do everything to make them stay so sharp-sighted and healthy for the rest of their lives. I enjoy all the colors of life. I feel like a winner!

And, undoubtedly, the diary of Dmitry Tsvetkov is famous for the brightest description of the image of the animal.

I am a purposeful, regal, kind, diplomatic, thoughtful, sunny, satirical and radiant hippo.

Oh, how I sometimes want to luxuriate in warm water blowing bubbles and not thinking about anything. Then stick your keenly seeing eyes out of the water and look around...

And then, after drying your skin, get off the ground and fly high in the sky together with the same hippopotamuses, surveying our beautiful land from the height of a hippopotamus flight.

Seeing a flying flock of hippos, some little boy will say: “Behemoths fly beautifully - like a wedge.” And the other will answer: “They don’t fly like a wedge, but like a pig.” And both, smiling, wave after the flying flock. And I'll think: "What a ho-ro-sho!"

Rare, but accurate was the image of Puzansky Valery.

My poetic image is a microscope. It allows me to discover a new, hitherto unknown, beautiful and amazing microcosm. With the help of a microscope, even a simple metal plate will turn into mountain ranges, canyons and crevices, will be filled with rivers and lunar craters.

When I restore my sight, I will find in our everyday environment something so amazing and fabulous that it is the meaning of human life. My healthy eyes are like a microscope that made greatest discoveries in various fields, will help me to make many new discoveries!

And I would like to complete these examples with the poems of Irina Orlova, who consciously awakened her poetic gift during her studies. She was offended that others wrote poetry, but she did not succeed. To connect to the poetic wave, Irina wrote a setting for writing poetry with her left hand for the night. The next morning in the subway, according to her, literally "poems came out of her." Running to the table and grabbing a sheet of paper, she successfully beat her image in one poem, a declaration of love to herself and work with attitudes.

I am Orlitsa - the light of Irina!
I love myself from now on.
For diligence, patience,
For self love and forgiveness.

Because against all odds
I believed in a theory
Which says: "Be sighted,
If you want! Be happy!"

Yes ... Vodichka sharpens a stone ...
You just have to make an effort
Fall in love with yourself.
And eyes sparkle like diamonds
Diamonds, crystals, topaz...

So I made a fairy tale come true
And spread my wings.
I soar in the sky like a free bird,
I am the most vigilant bird - an eagle!

Later, Ira already easily wrote memos for the eyes in verse, and then you will still see her creations. Poetic creativity is the most striking sign of the opening of the right hemisphere. In our classes, someone is sure to start writing poetry for the first time. And those who once already wrote poetry begin to experience the state of Boldino autumn, regardless of the time of year!

Decipher your initials!

In addition to working out an image that corresponds to the purpose of attending classes, our students are also invited to describe in their diaries the colors of their mood and epithets for their own initials on a daily basis.

Work with colors begins after studying the topics of solarization and light therapy. The fact is that our eyes not only need solar energy and colors of the solar spectrum. Visual acuity depends on the degree of saturation of the central part of the retina with colors!

It is known that only the central fovea of the retina, where the macula is located - the point of acute vision - is able to distinguish colors and their shades. Everything that falls on the lateral parts of the retina, we can only see in black and white. And since the macula is able to serve us only in the light, in the evening it is precisely the nerve cells of the retina located on the periphery that help us to see. Hence the expression: "All cats are gray at night."

Alas, we do not always have the opportunity to nourish ourselves with a variety of bright colors during the dark periods of the year, which are very long in our northern latitudes. That is why during these periods it is important to do color baths daily and describe in a nightly diary the colors that correspond to your psycho-emotional state.

If the mood is not very rosy, there is a chance to color it with bright colors, describing the images of flowers. For example, the way our young colleague Mikhail did in his diaries.

Hello diary! I, the quick freaky fast jerboa, am writing to you again. My colors, as always: red, the color of love, tenderness, warmth and light (a little closer to orange), green, the color of nature, freedom, youth and prosperity, and blue, the color of life, the color of air, water, ice and all living things, the color of the radiant sky.

My initials are I.M.A. Today I am playful, interested, intelligent, skillful. Mobile, powerful, powerful, wise, marine (in the sense - light and laid-back). And also artistic, scarlet, diamond, adaptable, active, adequate.

Today I'm fine and fine! Vision for a week (in just a week!), Improved a lot: according to measurements, +117 cm, and according to sensations, even more ...

Our listeners work not only with images and colors, but also with epithets, choosing in accordance with their initials the qualities that they would like to ideally have.

And here, too, our comrades-in-arms receive complete freedom to develop their memory, fantasy and imagination. Someone is limited to a brief but capacious description of epithets, and someone writes whole lists of qualities on their initials, as Natalya Yuryevna Smirnova did.

I am modest, strict, fair, free, quick, humble, independent, pretty, slender, nice, capable, sympathetic, empathetic, sentimental, intimate, seductive, savvy, sweet, light, sugary, scrupulous, happy, sunny, sparkling, silvery , super, the most-most.

I am unshakable, indomitable, assertive, persistent, natural, new, newly minted, unimaginable, extraordinary, incredible, irresistible, beloved, miraculous, necessary, tender, pious, trained, taught, smart, unique, moral, tuned, unyielding, unfading.

And also I am nimble, young, humorous, southern, jewelry.

Note that Alexander Susnin found completely different definitions for the same letter “C”.

I am strong, self-confident, established, stern (sometimes), luminous (with joy), sexy (love women), passionate, slender, selfless, complex, impetuous, conscientious, strict, self-sufficient, capable.

And also aromatic, artistic, active, adequate, neat, astronomical, abstract, antique.

Another colleague, Alexander Isaev, enriched the list of epithets corresponding to the letter "A".

Absolute, openwork, diamond, antique, absurd, watercolor, propaganda, autonomous, absolute, avant-garde, ambitious, athletic, astral, asteroid, antique, aphoristic, topical, allure.

Playful, sparkling, dainty, tried and tested, iconic, perfect, industrial, exuberant, spoiled, selective, amazing.

Voronchikhin Anatoly combined the composition of epithets with an essay about self-love, which is written by our students in the course of classes. He used each of his initials to compose a coherent story about himself.

I love myself for being attentive to my friends. Sometimes I take on the role of the avant-garde to solve common problems. In addition, I am neat and cheerful. Sometimes you have to be looking ahead in order to notice situations that can be disturbing in time.

Sometimes you have to be all-seeing. Friends for this call me amethyst-eyed. Despite the fact that I can be a gambler, I have to be careful, active and leading in acute situations. And I can also be academic, but this does not prevent me from being loyal, cheerful-eyed, artistic and even authoritative.

Now I had to remember that I am strong-willed. After all, I am not only a seer, I am arch-sighted, cheerful, sharp-eyed, because I am angel-like and lucky!

And Khalturina Emma Nikolaevna simply wrote a playful message to all her comrades-in-arms in deciphering her difficult initials.

I'm good - and only! But good in the comprehensive sense of the word. Well, sly too, in good sense words, I will deceive fate and make myself vigilant. I just - Ha! Here's to all of you! What an irony of fate! Where are you, my epithets? But I will squeeze them out of nothing. For example, I like chrysanthemum flowers, let me be chrysanthemum! I also like horseradish, but ... Strong taste.

The letter E is also at the end of the alphabet. But I will not let myself be offended! Well, work, my imagination! Economical is good. My name is German, and the Germans have thrift as a national trait. I am also energetic and effective - this is wonderful.

N - what a misfortune! All negations begin with this letter, and I must be an addition. Here, at last, is extraordinary. And heavenly? (Maybe I'm in cahoots with my guardian angel, or maybe it's a reminder of heavenly blue.) I am not unknown - I have a well-known surname. I'm different now - new! I now have a different attitude to life, new knowledge, new eyes. And still: "Wow!" - everyone is surprised! Well, here I am, although not Madame Broshkina - the most magnificent! Hi all! HAN.

It is interesting that Khlevnoy Vladimir Ivanovich found more epithets for the same letter “X”.

Good, grasping, laudatory, brave, economic, cunning, characteristic, hospitable.

Great, magical, tall, windy, enthusiastic, faithful, spring, cheerful, majestic, important, polite.

Gigantic, sincere, sparkling, intellectual, interesting, individual, intelligent, inventive, skillful, radiating, irrational, improvising, amazing, individual.

Our comrades-in-arms are especially happy when they have the letters “3” and “G” in their initials. Indeed, the epithets “healthy”, “sighted”, “sighted”, etc. begin with the letter “3”. And the letter “G” is the most important word for us, “eyes”. Here are the epithets found, for example, Poselova Lidia Georgievna.

Big-eyed, graceful, brilliant, dizzying, big-headed, proud, smooth, deeply feeling, heroic, harmonious, flexible, hospitable, grandiose, glossy, humane, main.

Pleasant, charming, positive, attractive, amazing, attractive, enlightened, penetrating, exemplary, remarkable, beautiful, excellent, insightful, understanding, pretty, captivating, prudent, precautionary, correct, truthful, most interesting, prettier, foam-born, guiding.

Beloved, affectionate, radiant, moon-faced, flying, fine, lyrical, dexterous, inquisitive, light-winged, luminescent, radiant, light.

And Olga Glotova simply made a coherent sentence from her first initial.

Big-eyed eyes stare glamorously, look, turn blue, burn, speak harmoniously and brilliantly!

Her namesake Ovchinnikova Olga from Abakan wrote epithets well for the letter “O”.

Charming, gifted, enlightened, organized, responsible, deified, inspired, personified, open, consecrated, excellent, witty, noted, charming, original.

And Belyakova Nina brilliantly beat the letter "B".

Cheerful, quick, brilliant, rich, carefree, catchy, harmless, flawless, thrifty, incomparable, unprecedented, immortal, noble, grateful, quick-eyed, benevolent, charitable, brainy, good-looking, fearless, unrestrained, faithful.

I would like to end this chapter with a poem by Lyudmila Mikhailova, who also became an active poetess after our classes.

My eyes are beautiful and clear!
They shine all the time
Burning with love, shining like stars,
There are no more wonderful people in the world!

Everything is under my control, I can see perfectly!
I'm young and pretty!
What do I hate in life?
It won't disturb my peace.

I want to live and enjoy life
Don't get upset over nonsense.
I know I'm lucky
And every day dreams come true!

Description

Does vision depend on the state of mind?

Does Your State of Mind Affect Your Vision?? To answer this question, we need to abandon the traditional medical approach. Try to look at the situation differently. Check out the ideas below in practice. Be patient. Be open. Consider Helen Keller's statement:

« Beauty cannot be seen or touched. It needs to be felt in the heart.

While still in school, you stood in line at the doctor's office - an ophthalmologist to check your eyesight. If you unsuccessfully "passed" an eye test, you were told about poor vision, farsightedness, myopia, increased intraocular pressure. Your description of your diagnosis could include: medical terms like blurring, double vision, cataracts and glaucoma.

In this case, your mother, father, or other family members probably reassured you by saying that you inherited their "weak" eyes. You were convinced that you have vision problems. For most patients, another visit to the optometrist means bad news. It turns out that the eyes need even stronger lenses, medication or even surgery. Every year the patient is more and more convinced that his eyes are bad and thus only exacerbates the situation.

Let's go back to our native Bushman friend. There are no ophthalmologists in deserts and jungles. If a bushman discovers that his eyes are not in order, he goes to the local healer - a shaman. In a certain sense, this medicine man acts as a spiritual teacher - he encourages his patients to engage in self-exploration. For example, a swollen eye may be recognized as an expression of repressed anger or resentment. The patient is offered a brew of some plants, animal secretions and soil (we would call it a compress), some kind of ritual is performed. However, this is not all. The patient has to take a direct part in the treatment process, he must make quite definite efforts. This treatment strategy goes far beyond simply suppressing symptoms through autosuggestion.

Try to think of the state of your eyes as a consequence of what is going on in your soul.. There, in the depths of the soul - prejudices, fear, irritation. From there, the ways of thinking received from parents, relatives, and teachers originate. All people have a different eye condition, because the state of mind of each person is unique. And now you, being such a unique person, come to the doctor - an ophthalmologist. The doctor examines your symptoms, compares them to some known norm, and then, with the help of some corrective actions (from prescribing glasses and contact lenses to medication and surgery), tries to return you to the limits of this norm.

How effective is the classical medical approach to eye treatment? And isn't it better to interpret the symptoms of the eyes as an expression of the state of inner spiritual vision? I think a combination of western and shamanistic worldviews is needed: use training lenses and at the same time try to understand yourself.

I will explain my idea on the example of several clinical cases.

Annie (41) is, in her words, "bored with life." She took refuge from the world in a small house in the forests of Oregon to "explore the other side of her being." I was not surprised to hear her story about illnesses. For many years, she suffered from diabetes because she lived by the principle: “Am I sweet enough for others?”. Began for some time retinal detachment which resulted in a significant narrowing of peripheral vision. It can be said that in this way Annie unconsciously expressed her unwillingness to see and be present in life.

I helped Annie understand this problem. After visiting me, she went for surgery. New knowledge helped Annie change her attitude to life. She learned to accept reality as it is, and in doing so helped her eyes.

In Annie's case, I didn't count on progress. However she coped with despair (she thought she was going blind) and took care of herself. This allowed her to return to the city and successfully continue the family business. Her vision improved and became quite stable.

A study of the medical history, as well as a study of personality, showed that one of the main reasons for the deterioration of Annie's vision was destructive subconscious mental attitude.

Like the Bushman patient, Annie was able to change herself in order to change the condition of her eyes. After that, she went for surgery. Surgery was not the root cause of positive change. I'm sure - awareness of the connection between vision and attitude to life, with a view of the world helped her get on the road to recovery.

Abe is thirty-one years old. When Abe was sixteen, an optometrist told him that at thirty he would wear glasses. At thirty, Abe changed his profession and became a programmer. At the same time, he first drew attention to the decrease in visual acuity and blurring of the visible image. A medical examination confirmed Abe's suspicions - he became nearsighted. Over the next year, Abe changed his glasses twice, with stronger lenses each time. When it became necessary to change glasses for the third time, he came to me for a consultation.

Abe said that a year and a half before he got his first glasses, he divorced his wife after eight years of marriage. He admitted that he was afraid of the future and did not know how to provide for himself financially. His deep inner insecurity was the cause of failure in career and in personal life . Intensive work on the computer, the words of the optometrist stuck in my memory (“At thirty years old you will have to wear glasses!”), Fear of the future - all this negatively affected vision.

Abe constantly used the expressions "I can't" and "I don't know." The first thing I did was to help him change the way he spoke. For example, I asked him: Where would you like to work? or " What kind of relationships do you lack?? Because Abe was psychologically blind, he couldn't imagine any goals and replied, "I don't know." A few sessions helped Abe regain his inner vision. There was clarity in his answers: I would like to work in a high-tech company. I would like to meet a woman who loves to be outdoors". Abe asked his friends to point out situations in which he began to speak vaguely. He took advantage of the training glasses and began to do exercises me to balance "being" and "doing" in my life.

Before long, he only wore glasses if he got behind the wheel of a car. Abe became more open in communication, found Good work and met a wonderful woman. And all this for: some seven months.

The state of a person's eyes is largely determined by what happens in his soul.. Eye problems can be called vital! lesson given to us. The following directions will help you do it! conclusions and make the most of this lesson.

The state of the eyes as an expression of the state of the soul

Whether you're hanging out with friends or driving a car, standing in line or about to go to bed, imagine your eyes healthy. Don't be passive. Live by the principle "I do it", whether it is getting rid of the dependence on glasses or finding a new high-paying job. positive and responsible attitude towards own life greatly improve your eyesight.

Vision and life experience

Let's pretend again that you are a Bushman. Your understanding of the world is limited to a few miles around the hut. From childhood, you were taught to move correctly and properly respond to poisonous snakes, hungry lions and an antelope that you intended for dinner to run away from you. Savannah, relatives and a hut - that's all you see from day to day. Your inner world remains the same uncomplicated.

And suddenly, one day, walking in the thickets, you see something strange - people in clothes. Dressed people drive jeeps and carry guns. Your eyes send new information to your brain, but this information is processed in the context of previous experience. What do you see when you see a gun? You have not dealt with it, and do not even assume that it is dangerous. At the very least, your understanding of this subject is naive. You are not afraid of a gun because you don't know what it is.. You need the gun to fire, you need to see the victim in order to get scared. Then next time you will see the gun through the lens of fear.

I think that most of you have no experience of savannah survival. However, you have undoubtedly encountered situations that inspire fear. And I assume that your "inner eye", if only from the instinct of self-preservation, does everything to protect itself from many things. Unlike Bushmen, you watch TV and read newspapers. You are drowning in reports of urban problems, never-ending financial crises, lost children, alcoholism, drug addiction, AIDS, terrorism and the threat of nuclear annihilation. But you also need to somehow live among all this. No wonder your eyes adjust over time to not seeing..

To understand how such attitudes can affect vision, it is necessary to understand what life experience is. We accumulate impressions from the moment of conception, if not before.. For example, during pregnancy, your mother used a large number of Sahara. You have inevitably experienced this for yourself. Your brain has memorized and summarized all such facts.

From the moment of birth, you have been given the opportunity to explore the world through the senses. The brain library contains data on everything you have ever felt, heard and seen. Your visual experience is like a videotape.

Imagine that you are now fourteen months old. Your attention is riveted to the bright orange-red flashes of fire in the fireplace. You reach for the fire and try to play with it. Very soon you will burn your hands and you will cry. This is how an association arises.: orange-red is associated with pain and crying.

Later, a bright orange-red piece of paper will catch your eye. You instinctively recoil and don't want to touch it. There is a reflex, - in the future, your eyes will react with a contraction of the pupils to the appearance of any orange and red objects. Chronic tension appears in the muscles of the eyes.

That our actions are conditioned by previous experience becomes evident when we observe the reactions of the eyes and muscles of the face on videotape. Test questions can stimulate memories of events that once scared you.. You again experience tension and fear, you see the present through the prism of past emotions, and this is reflected in facial expressions.

Think about how your past affects vision as much as genetic predisposition, dietary habits and conditions. environment. Recall what events in the past may have caused the reactions that impair your vision today.. To clarify this idea, I will cite a few cases.

1. Nancy, forty-three years old. Her mother gave up her career as a pianist to devote herself to her family. When Nancy was three years old, the family moved from the city to countryside. Six months after the move, a second child was born. Nancy always felt that her mother paid more attention to her younger brother.

In first grade, Nancy's eyes were carefully examined and the doctors found no abnormalities. Nancy saw that her mother was dejected by her isolation on the farm. Over the next year, Nancy became like a tomboy. Her father jokingly called her "Billy". She needed glasses for the first time in second grade.

Nancy was annoyed by the close relationship between mother and brother. She was jealous, felt abandoned, useless and constantly fought with her brother. When she was twelve years old, her mother decided to leave her father. This event left Nancy in disarray. During this period, she was prescribed stronger and stronger glasses.

At the age of twenty-five, Nancy married a man whom her mother did not accept, and therefore, over the next thirteen years, she saw her mother only twice. When Nancy was forty-two years old, her left eye began to see much more "blurry" than the right. When I first saw Nancy, she was depressed, scared and withdrawn. During the first sessions, she became aware of the connection between her reactions to her parents' behavior and the development of myopia. Nancy perceived her parents, especially her mother, as failed people and I projected this feeling into my own life..

A few weeks passed, and Nancy changed her approach to life. She set herself new goals and now dreamed of new achievements. Nancy began wearing training lenses and stimulating her eyes with exercises.

When Nancy felt the need internal changes her eyesight improved. At first, the improvements were short-lived and almost imperceptible. Then the periods of clear vision began to be measured in minutes. At times, her vision was up to ninety-five percent of normal. When she returned to the past, her vision rapidly deteriorated. Nancy's example clearly shows how the state of a person's eyes can depend on his past negative life experience. Nancy is currently on her way to full vision without glasses and is using training lenses and exercises.

2. Brenda didn't wear glasses until she was nineteen. Then her brother got cancer and died six months later. Three months after her brother's death, Brenda was diagnosed with nearsightedness. and wrote out the first glasses. Soon her right eye began to squint. Brenda put on new glasses in the hope of correcting her vision. The attending physician advised to have an operation on the slanting eye, but Brenda decided to wait. At the age of twenty-one she found new job which turned out to be very stressful. Her right eye was tired and squinted even more.

Two years later, Brenda found out about the research I was doing at the time. She complained to me that she was depressed by the jokes of her colleagues at work about her "funny" eye. The first step was to convince Brenda to use training lenses (by that time she did not wear glasses at all). After two months of exercise, Brenda began to occasionally, for short periods of time, see with both eyes. One day, while doing the exercise, she cried out. Then she looked at the test chart and screamed even louder. Her vision increased by forty percent! After that, she sought the advice of a psychologist with whom I collaborated during the study. Brenda realized that her problem was that she withdrew into herself after the death of her brother. After that, episodes of joint work of both eyes became more frequent, self-esteem increased, and with it came success in work. However, the psychological pressure also increased. The jokes of colleagues about strabismus became unbearable. Brenda refused to participate in the vision restoration program.

A year later, I met Brenda again. She underwent surgery to "align" her right eye. Her eyes did not lose coordination because she resumed training. When we parted, she announced loudly: I'm getting married in a month

Your eyesight, as well as Nancy's and Brenda's, influenced by past events, the memory of which is accompanied by a feeling of fear. However, you can remove this "filter" from your eyes. Close your eyes. Relax. Breathe deeply. Travel back in time as if you were rewinding a videotape of your memory. It is good to do this exercise before going to bed. Let the dreams tell about what prevents you from seeing. Go back to that part of your life experience that makes you not look. It is advisable to “scroll” in memory the period from twelve to eighteen months preceding the appearance of the first symptoms of visual impairment. As you open your eyes, consider how meaningful what you now realize was. How are images of past experiences related to the current state of vision?

Now you are ready for new experiences. What should be done at home, in the family and at work, so that life brings you satisfaction? Tell yourself I have to give up my glasses! If your eyesight is too weak, wear training lenses. Maybe call your parents and tell them you love them, or meet up with an old friend, watch a good movie, go to a ski resort, learn to sail, think about a vacation, take a walk. bookstores or go dancing.

Try to treat every event in life as a gift.. Learn from everything you see. Monitor your vision. Accept and love the blurry vision.

Fear, irritation and their impact on vision

We found that the experience of the past, to one degree or another, can negatively affect vision. I believe that the active "reagent" of this experience is the repressed emotions of fear and irritation. I didn't understand exactly how this was happening until optician Robert Pepper suggested that I use a large trampoline in my work with patients.

Let's imagine that you are in a session with me in a large vaulted room. You are wearing comfortable clothing and have removed your glasses or contact lenses. There is a big trampoline in front of you. You climb onto the trampoline and jump up and down, making circles in front of you with your hands. I remind you to watch your breath. At some point, you notice that your eyes are fixed on one point. Eyes, neck, shoulders tense. You feel fear and feel tightness in your chest and stomach.

Very soon you get used to it, subdue the trampoline and relax, surrendering to jumping. You look around and notice that your vision has improved. You smile, and at that moment a new command sounds: “Now jump, landing alternately on the “fifth point” and knees. Again, the first reaction of the body is tension. You imagine falling on the “fifth point”, and fear appears. You are probably annoyed: “He's crazy. I won't do that for anything." I suggest that you analyze how you react.

So, our imaginary training continues. The fear/irritation reaction is repeated with each new step:

  • Count aloud your trampoline jumps from one to ten, landing on your knees every second count and on the fifth spot every eighth count.
  • Continue in the same spirit, clapping your hands for every fifth count and saying: “Relax!”
  • Now count backwards from ten to one. At the same time, instead of saying "two", say "eight", instead of "eight" - "five", and instead of "five" - "two".

Perhaps, while doing the exercise, you experienced irritation and underlying fear. It is the fear of the unknown, the fear of failure. Usually you are not aware of such reactions, however, even if they go unnoticed, they still reach the muscles of the eyes. And in these muscles there is tension or spasm.

Trampoline experiment - good way feel like experiences and thoughts affect the state of the body, especially the eyes. Now you can train your vision according to the method described in the twelfth chapter. Your eyesight will improve as you master this technique. If you really jumped on a trampoline, following the instructions described (count aloud; on the count of "two" - landing on your knees; on the count of "five" - clap your hands; on the count of "eight" - landing on the "fifth point"; remember to breathe deeply and blink all the time), you would find that you have no time to think about anything other than what is happening in the present, here and now. Being present here and now is very important.. If you think about the past, or worry about the future, the state of "being" disappears. At the same time, the effect of the exercise is lost. Violated kinda Feedback, reminding you to return to the present. Your reaction to such "failures" will allow you to become aware of your fears and hidden annoyances.

After four hours on the trampoline, Jill, a farsighted aged 16, stated: “I'm surprised how annoying and frustrating I am that I can't do seemingly simple things like jumping up and down while saying words at the same time. When you reminded me of breathing and suggested that I feel what was happening inside me, I suddenly screamed, just as I sometimes scream at my mother. At the end of the session, I felt relieved. The body and eyes relaxed. After the session, I could bring both eyes closer to my nose, and it became easier for me to read.

My clinical observations and personal experience show:

  • if you have myopia, then most likely you spend a lot of time going through the events and experiences of the past in your mind.
  • Accordingly, if you are farsighted, you are probably mostly dreaming about the future.

With this you just don't see now. One must learn to remain in the present while at the same time not losing sight of the past and the future. Relaxing, getting rid of tension, you are more involved in the present. As a result, eye coordination is restored, vision and memory are improved.

Another way to achieve this goal- to use what Robert Pepper calls "visual representation". You develop a plan - a strategy for what needs to be done. Suppose you have to jump on a trampoline, be in a state of "seeing" and say the word "Louisiana" aloud while doing this. If you try to do this without rehearsals, you will fail. You will experience tension and waste too much mental energy.

You need to create a visual image in advance. Try to mentally break the word into three parts:

  • 1) LU,
  • 2) Easy
  • 3) AHA.
With your eyes closed, imagine LU, then EPI, and then AHA. When you have a clear picture in front of your eyes, imagine jumping on a trampoline again. Now imagine IZI, then LU and AHA. Are you good at manipulating all three fragments of the word in the space of your inner vision? Notice if you are straining to see these fragments. By using visual images of words and at the same time saying these words out loud, you will maintain inner balance by doing two things at the same time.

You can use the same method on any object, without glasses or with training lenses. Test visual charts can be used in the same way. The images that appear before your "inner eye" should be clear. For example, imagine a store where you usually buy fruits and vegetables. Your fridge is empty, so you shop, read the price tags, and pick out juicy green apples, red tomatoes, green celery, and orange carrots. Or, while driving along the highway, clearly imagine the sign indicating your turn. What size, color, shape is it? Repeat the same procedure with the letters on the visual chart. Look, without straining, at the edges of the letters, at the white spaces between the letters. Then close your eyes and imagine a clear visual image of what you just saw. Developing visual imagination, you will develop confidence in your own vision and be able to be in the present.

It is quite curious that a person with a split personality needs different points for each of his personalities. In essence, this means that a person's vision is determined by his internal state.

With that in mind, you can think of training lenses as a way to switch yourself into a "different personality" state. A slight blur in some cases can upset you, an already forgotten fear or irritation is spinning. Sometimes it seems to you that you have ceased to be yourself, that you are a different person. My patients say that training lenses allow you to mentally see past traumatic experiences I. For example:

When George was twelve years old, he witnessed his brother's death in a car accident. This incident became a source of horror for him for a long time. About a year later, George was diagnosed with myopia.

At the age of twenty-five, George began to study the method of restoring vision. Through exercise his eyes got rid of the constant tension. After a few sessions, after physical exertion and subsequent relaxation, glimpses of clear vision began to appear. During this period, the fear of accidents returned and anger at the driver, who was to blame for the death of his brother. George relived his old feelings again. Today he drives a car without corrective lenses; in addition, he learned to accept the past and learn from it.

Being aware of repressed fear and irritation can actually improve your vision. At this stage it is very important to have an experienced assistant near you- a psychologist, psychotherapist, specialist who knows the Bates method or the technique described here. Ask a close friend for help. Keep a diary. This diary will document your progress.

Gerald Yampolsky wrote in his book Love is the Relief of Fear: To see is to look with love».

Right eye, left eye

I am more than sure that you and your eye doctor think that the eyes will work in harmony if a clear image is obtained in the fovea region of the retina of each eye.

My experience shows- this is so, but only if you are a bushman living in the savannah, which we talked about above. Otherwise, the moment you start using foveal (central) vision, your eyes are stressed. You no longer use your eyes the way a native does. It turns out that each of your eyes has its own level of vision.

In traditional Chinese medicine the right side of the body is associated with the action(controlled by the left hemisphere). The left side of the body is more associated with perception(controlled by the right hemisphere). Expanding on this concept, the right eye (which I think of as a conduit) "expands" your vision of the outside world. The left eye "absorbs" visual information. As a private evidence, the following fact can be cited: the right and left parts of the face are not symmetrical, they differ, as well as the eyes. Showing images of eyes and faces in the video helps me explain to patients the dynamics of the relationship between the left and right eye.

Before doing the next exercise, remove your glasses or contact lenses. Look out the window at some distant object. If you see it blurry, no big deal. Cover your eyes with your palm in turn - first one eye, then the other. Repeat this procedure until you notice that one eye "receives" more than the other. Do not rate the eyes as "good" and "bad". Imagine that the eyes are energy conduits, as if a laser beam exited the right eye and returned back through the left eye.

If your eyes perceive visible world to varying degrees, you can begin to find out the reasons for the weakening of the flow of perception in one of these two channels.

Knowing this can help you several principles oriental medicine . The left half of the body is connected with the right hemisphere, the left eye (channel) can be considered female. Therefore, the way you use your left eye is an expression of your creativity, feelings, ability to receive love. The right eye (channel) is the expression of the masculine. The way you see with your right eye speaks volumes about your perception of your own self-expression, logic, analytical ability, intelligence, and verbal ability.

From this follow the grandiose conclusions. What happens if you cover your dominant eye for a few hours a day? Do you feel the emotions described in Chapter 9? Can it improve your "seeing" and "looking"? If the vision of one or the other eye is restored, is it possible to talk about the progress of the abilities for which the corresponding hemisphere of the brain is responsible? Or, on the other hand, will the development of qualities associated with the corresponding hemisphere lead to an improvement in vision? It may turn out that in order to achieve improvement in the condition of the eyes, you first have to change the way of thinking associated with the left- or right-brain activity of the brain.

Beth, thirty-two good lawyer. While still a student, she noticed that the vision in her left eye was blurry. She was prescribed glasses six years later, but she only wore them when she went to the cinema and when she was driving at night. After some time, Beth came for a consultation with an optometrist, and he diagnosed her: astigmatism (uneven curvature of the cornea) of the left eye. Permanent glasses were prescribed.

By the time Beth consulted with me (several years later), the astigmatism had worsened. Considering astigmatism an expression of a distorted attitude to life, I drew Beth's attention to her perception of her own femininity. While studying at the Faculty of Law, she was one of three girls among forty boys - students. It seemed to Beth that she, as a lawyer, was preparing for a male role. Now she realized that she simply did not see an example of a real woman who would take place in her profession, and therefore, due to the lack of a better behavioral model, she copied fellow students - men.

Beth's vision recovery sessions began with a bandage over her right eye. Beth learned to perceive the world through the left channel and, as a result, to express herself and her feminine qualities. Over time, her eyesight improved. Beth no longer needed to wear glasses all the time and claimed to feel more balanced.

Let's look a little deeper the relationship between gender role and vision. Our culture is dominated by the "left-brain" male behavioral model - aggressiveness, intelligence, clarity of statements. If you, as a man, block or fail to perceive your primary masculine role model, your right eye may react with blurred vision. Thus, vision can reflect the balance of masculine and feminine in your personality.

Angela was five years old when she and her mother first came to me. Her father left the family when she was two years old. At the age of three, her right eye began to squint. Doctors diagnosed him with visual fatigue (asthenopia), complicated by farsightedness. After Angela was prescribed glasses, the strabismus became invisible. When the glasses were removed a few weeks later, Angela's right eye began to squint even more. This continued throughout the next year. Angela's mother was worried: daughter is addicted to glasses, her eyesight is deteriorating.

What I found confirmed my mother's suspicions. To save Angela from her glasses addiction, I ordered one-third strength training lenses for her. With the help of exercises, Angela learned to activate the fovea of both eyes..

Over the next two years, Angela and her mother consulted with me periodically. During this period, we discovered the deep resentment of the girl in connection with the departure of her father. In addition, she had nowhere to learn how to express the masculine principle of her personality - she did not have an appropriate example before her eyes. Her soft, shy and fearful behavior is an indicator of such an imbalance.

Now Angela's mother and teachers have contributed to the development of this part of her personality. Angela continued to do visual exercises. By the time she was seven years old, she could see without glasses with both eyes at any distance. Her right eye had almost stopped squinting. She did well in school and behaved at ease. Mother said that Angela became much more balanced.

Discuss with your ophthalmologist the ability to cover your more developed eye with a bandage(but first read the section on bandages in chapter twelfth). You can put on a temporary bandage (or attach a flap to the lens of your training glasses). My research shows that it is best to wear the bandage continuously for four hours. Choose for yourself the time that suits you, increasing it by half an hour at a time. Of course, you only need to wear a bandage in safe situations. Put it on at home first- when washing dishes, reading, etc. After a while, get out into the street. Many of my patients have tried playing ball or other sports with their more developed eye closed. If you have 100% vision, you can still wear an eye patch to stimulate the other side of your brain.

Some of my patients have an eye patch helped in their professional activities:

Sylvia, forty-four years old, pianist. Her natural vision is one hundred percent, however she tends to use her right eye more than her left. When Sylvia plays the piano, the right hand is dominant; left hand doesn't press the keys hard enough.

Sylvia began to put on a bandage over her right eye (daily, for four hours a day). Twenty-one days later, her game changed noticeably. By restoring the balance of eye activity, she achieved better hand coordination during the game. Sylvia still uses the bandage as needed.

When removing the bandage, do it slowly.. The light will seem too bright at first. Pay attention to colors. Feel how pleasant it is to open both eyes at once. Now you can fully appreciate the work of both eyes! No doubt you feel more balanced. You will be able to see the improvement of your vision at work, while reading, while playing sports. Check how the condition of each eye has changed. How are you feeling? Memorize or write down your emotional and eye reactions while wearing the bandage. Tell someone about your results.

And remember: your eyes are wonderful!

Holistic awareness

Holistic awareness- this is the harmony of "looking" with the eyes and "seeing" with the inner eye. This is the balance of the perception channels of the left and right eyes. Finally, it is an opportunity to know and accept yourself. Looking back, you see yesterday as a preparation for today and understand that what you see now is, to some extent, a reflection of your past. Your tomorrow will be whatever you wish it to be.

Remember that you are perfect and let your eyes see.

In previous chapters, you learned about how the eyes work individually. You have learned to monitor the state and reactions of each eye. The next step is to train your brain to coordinate these two channels of perception. This is the most high level - harmony of vision and mind. Like the exercises described above, holistic awareness exercises lead not only to improved vision and eye health, but also to a change in subjective perceptions of the world.

By doing the visual exercises described in this chapter, you will find that your eyes begin to work together - in harmony with each other. Remember, you need to practice exercises with minimal effort, without tension.; do not forget to breathe correctly, blink and periodically do a warm-up for the muscles of the eyes. Don't "try" to do these exercises. Let them guide you to what is to come. Does your subjective perception really depend on your posture, time of day, or glasses? Do the exercises at least to get to know yourself and your type of vision better. It is impossible to do these exercises "right" or "wrong". It is simply a way of understanding what a state of total awareness is.

thumb exercise

Sit comfortably in a chair with a back. Glasses can be removed, but you can not remove. Stretch out in front of you, just below the line of sight, a hand with a raised thumb. Look at the finger. Your eyes are slanted inward (closed together). Have you forgotten about breathing? Do you look at your finger without blinking? Blink and breathe deeply. Focusing on the thumb, pay attention to the objects around. The thumb is clearly visible (foveal or central vision), distant objects are blurred (peripheral vision).

Now, without lowering your hand, look at a distant object. Note that the visible image of the finger is probably split in two. If not, blink and close your eyes several times in turn until you see two thumbs instead of one - this means that holistic perception has “turned on”. (If you have blurred vision, your attempts may fail. Sometimes the brain refuses the image coming from the right or left eye.) Check how clear both visible images of the finger are. Are they different sizes? Experiment by zooming in and out. By changing the focal length, can you get both visible finger images to be the same size? What happens if you put a bandage on the eye that sees the finger better for a while? After removing the bandage, try again to look at the finger with both eyes. Visible images of the finger became the same? How does what you see affect your breathing, changing your posture (for example, standing, or standing on one leg, or lying down)? Notice if the visible finger images are at the same horizontal level or one is higher than the other? What happens if you tilt your head to the right shoulder? How much information from each eye is perceived by the brain depends on the position of the head. If you are reading in bed or lying on your side, your binocular vision will drop and your overall perception will be less effective.

Once you have learned to maintain two clear visible finger patterns, pick up a book.. Place your finger in the middle between the book and the eyes. While reading the text, move your finger in front of your eyes. Make sure that when using both eyes (two fingers visible) you can see all the text on the page. Try closing one eye. Notice how some of the text disappears because the remaining visible image of the finger covers part of the field of view. Let the finger that corresponds to the weaker channel of perception close readable text. Remember, if both eyes work together, you will see two fingers. If one of the fingers has disappeared, blink, take a deep breath and look into the distance - the second finger should appear. Keep blinking, breathe deeply, and occasionally cover your eyes with your palms.

If you return to the “action” state, you will find that one of the fingers has disappeared and the other is covering the words you want to read. This indicates a loss of balance and a shift to the right-handed or left-handed perception. As a result, information from one of the visual channels is not perceived by the brain.

Repeat this thumb exercise several times a day.. Breathe deeply, blink, and sometimes cover your eyes with your palms to remain in a state of whole perception.

Circle exercise

Remember the sensation that occurs when you "cross" your eyes. Place this book so that the circles in the illustration are about forty centimeters from the eyes. Slowly move your eyes until you see three circles. They can be quite blurry. Breathe evenly and close your eyes a little more. Is blurriness increasing or decreasing? Repeat this exercise. Move your eye focus from distant objects to the illustration until the picture is clear. What do you see?

Depending on the state of your vision, you can see the picture like this:

  • Outer and inner circles
  • The word "SIGHT"
  • The word 'VISION', however some letters disappear or overlap
  • The word "VISION" with the letter L at the top and P at the bottom, on the same vertical.
  • The letters L and P are shifted from the center, moving in different directions
  • The inner circle moves towards you

Your perception will change as your vision changes.. With optimal binocular (holistic) vision, you will see an absolutely clear picture. At the same time, you should see clear letters L and P and the word "VISION"; the letters don't move. It is not difficult for you to shift the focus of your gaze to any distance and return it to the illustration and see all three pictures at the same time.

Once you've mastered the crisscrossing eye movement, you'll be ready to do it. reverse exercise. This time, look far ahead and position the book so that the illustration is just below your line of sight. Try to look into the distance and not look at the illustration. Find the point where three circles appear. Answer yourself the same questions as before, and as they say, "feel the difference."

With this exercise, you learn to coordinate the work of the oculomotor muscles and the ciliary muscles of the eyes. If the tone of the oculomotor muscles is weakened, you have to focus your eyes due to excessive tension of the ciliary muscles, which ultimately leads to the development of myopia and astigmatism.

Can you change the state of vision by willpower? Are you able to create a picture of three circles by first closing your eyes and then looking into the distance? Try doing this exercise in reverse order. Don't forget about deep breathing, blinking, yawning, and stretching your eye muscles. After five or ten minutes of exercise, cover your eyes with your palms.

Exercise for the "inner eye"

If you have access to a trampoline, try the jumping exercises described in Chapter 9 on it. This will develop your inner vision. Instead of a large trampoline, you can use a dense stretched fabric or a mini trampoline. Of course, you should not land on your buttocks or on your knees if the trampoline is too small!

Arrow exercise

Copy the drawing shown in the illustration onto a piece of paper or whatman paper and hang it on the wall. Stand or sit (without; corrective lenses) so that you can see the direction of the arrows. You are now in what I call the "blur zone". For some, this zone is at a distance of twenty-five centimeters from the drawing or even less, for others - at a distance of three or even six meters. If you are doing the exercise in a standing position, distribute your body weight evenly on both legs. Take three deep breaths.

  • Step 1. Say out loud the direction of each arrow, starting at the top left corner. Do you move your arms? head? Is your speech speeding up? Do you remember breathing? Do you strain to see arrows? Perhaps you involuntarily leaned forward? (Note: Ask yourself these questions at each step of the exercise.)
  • Step 2. Now name the directions of the arrows and at the same time show them with your hand.

Do the exercise by listing the arrows, starting from the lower right corner.

  • Step 3. When listing the arrows, point with your right hand to the right; left hand - to the left; right hand - up; and left hand down.
  • Step 4. Follow step 3 in reverse order.
  • Step 5. Visually imagine that you rotate each arrow a quarter of a circle clockwise. Name the directions of the arrows obtained in this way, without pointing them with your hands. Pay attention to changes in the rhythm of speech. Later, ask a friend or family member to clap the rhythm.
  • Step 6. Repeat step 5 with your hands pointing in the direction of the arrows.
  • Step 7. Repeat step 6, but now use your hands to indicate the actual direction of each arrow. Remember the sensations that arise in your body. What is your reaction? Are you starting to get nervous, are you ready to give up on the exercise, or do you perceive the exercise as just another task that needs to be solved?

Arrow exercises are especially helpful for people who have been diagnosed. "learning disability" or "dyslexia". How better man masters every step of the exercise, the more the brain is stimulated. Often, patients complain about headache after the arrow exercise. I remember a teenage girl who said that the entire right side of her head was burning from the exercise. If you experience these sensations, cover your eyes with your palms and rest.

When you let go of yourself, allowing yourself to simply "be", the level of holistic perception increases. Stop analyzing what is happening, at least for a while. Trust your inner vision and intuition. Let the exercise take over. Visual exercises can be performed at any time, as soon as you want. Do at least five minutes, but no more than an hour. You will find that it has become easier for you to communicate with people, your well-being will improve, and your dependence on glasses will decrease. Maybe the state of holistic perception will change your life?

Enjoy your new vision!
